“I like pho and this places serves it really well!
Got the house special selection large size and it came out really fast. Comes with all the ingredients you would expect from an excellent pho. There were a lot of noodles in there and the broth was super tasty! The beef was also quite enjoyable. I would definitely come back to eat more pho.
Parking: Parking right in front of the door.“

“Bowl of Pho has been the hidden treasure of Pho spots here in Sunnyvale/Cupertino. My wife and I love their Pho bowls both Beef and Chicken styles, they’ve always delivered high quality food. Our favorite side dish has been their Fried Egg Rolls which are STUFFED! And the Thai Teas have been sweet and delicious! Definitely our go to place.“

“This is an unassuming little place in Washington St. near the main drag of Murphy Ave. There were lots of Pho options, along with starters and more solid dishes. We went for the Pho because we were trying to shake the last effects of annoying colds. To quote my wife, the chicken option was Photastic! Very savory and flavorful with the regular add ins like bean sprouts, jalapenos, basil and onions.
The setting was basic but upbeat, and holiday tunes played while we are. The server was friendly and attentive and made suggestions to help us choose from the menu.
To those who say the meals are pricey, we paid about $50 for the both of us with the Pho, eggrolls and tip, but we got two meals out of it, and the soup apparently takes 16 hours to fully prepare. Definitely recommend.“

“My favorites are always the #1 and #2, the best jumbo prawn noodle soup in the Bay Area.
I haven't been eating lunch at Pho Queen for quite a while. It was still clean and bright inside. I was lucky to be seated right away (it took me 30 minutes on my last visit) To my surprise, they still maintain the good services and high quantity of food. The price has gone up to $20 for large bowl of #2. Service was simple, polite and quick. I received my bowl of noodle soup within 5 minutes. As always, the chicken broth is steaming hot and flavorful, with the aroma of garlic, onion, jalapeno, and basil.“

“A funky former hot dog joint with mid century modern architecture. Stop in for a quick bowl of Pho, with TOO many choices! Last time we had the seafood soup. The large size filled up 2 people who were hungry after running errands and shopping.“

“Happy Flower Eatery is one of the best spots in the South Bay for vegan Southeast Asian food. I've tried many spots in my vegan journey and didn't expect to come across a new favorite in the last few months. Our group of four ordered a combination of items from their Sampler Appetizer of rolls, Salted Fish Fried Rice, Mushroom Stew, and Beyond Meat String Beans Stir-Fry. Portions were great for every dish and the flavors were all there. My friends couldn't believe some of the items were plant-based but it goes to show that seasoning and preparation make a difference to any dish. Service was very friendly as well. The manager checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our food and I appreciated their service. The area itself doesn't have much but well worth it to experience some great Vietnamese and Southeast Asian inspired vegan cuisine.“

House of Pho
1066 E El Camino Real
Sunnyvale, CA 94087
I decided to try this place after seeing a photo of the crispy noodles on the Yelp local search page. I am a sucker for Hong Kong style crispy chow mein. It's a stand alone nondescript restaurant between auto service businesses on ECR at the edge of Sunnyvale. Lots of parking.
I went there for lunch and was seated promptly and I ordered the #47 Crispy Vietnamese Noodles. It's a spacious and clean booth and table setup with numbers, although my check was brought to my table after I was done. My dish was very good with al dente vegetables, shrimp, chicken and (no flavor) fish cake. The gravy was savory and a good not salty accompaniment to soak the noodles.
Service was good and a definite repeat for the crispy noodles and the pho might be next time.“

“I stop by here when I'm in town every year or two and it's still one of my favorite places. I like Bambu Favorite but Bambu Combo is nice for when I want a little chaos in my drink (basically a little of everything). I like the crunchy red tapioca, refreshing herbal jelly, chewy pandan jelly, sweet milky blend of coconut and scoop of finely crushed ice.
The Bambu in my area closed down so I'm glad I can still have some here. The ambience has changed a lot since I was last here, but it's still a vibrant and unique hangout.“

“This small mom and pop shop sells one of the best banh mi. They have a large variety of options including vegetarian. They also have packed snacks, pandas cake, Vietnamese coffee etc. Very reasonably priced too. I keep coming back here! Only take out, no dining.“
