“I took my friend here to grab brunch since its near his mom house. I found this place on Yelp when I was looking for brunch places in Sylmar. The food looked good so I wanted to try it. I found parking easily in the plaza this place is in on a Thursday. When we walked inside this place, they only had 1 other guest dining and we had to wait to be seated. Once we got seated and given the menu, I went up to the counter to look at their special menu. I think there was only 1 person working today because I didn't see anyone else. The lady working was very helpful and polite with us. I got their chicken burgers with seasoned fries, my friend got their philly cheese sandwich and my wife got their chicken sandwich along with their red juice. It didn't take long for our food to come out. I like my chicken burger but the fries were not the best. My wife enjoyed her chicken sandwich and onions rings. My friend thought their philly cheese sandwich was delicious as well. My wife also loved the red juice since not a lot of places has that as an option. We had a great time dining here and wouldn't mind coming back.

“The fact this didn’t pop up for best restaurants in Burbank when searching google and TikTok is a travesty. This was phenomenal in every way and the owner genuinely seems to enjoy what he does. Everything is made in house including their sauces, the meat they used is displayed. If houses around here didn’t cost 1M I’d move here and eat this every day.

P.S. House sauce is amazing and the images pictured is the classic smash burger with an extra patty and the pastrami burger (which the wife loved)“

“I’m visiting For the Win right after a visit from my nephew at the children’s hospital. I was hungry there was no line at service counter, I asked to check out the bacon and Natalie kindly showed me the quality. Nothing beats a good offer and fresh fries are my favorite“

The customer service as well was impeccable, all of the workers as well as the owners caters to your needs and makes sure that your enjoying the place. “I came here for a brunch. The food is okay, but the prices are too high for the neighborhood. I ordered the shareable mimosas, which came in an un-rinsed carafe (think dust and bugs). Thankfully, the manager comped them, but I was still charged for the drinks that replaced them.

Ultimately, I paid $70 for 3 mimosas and a salad. Okay, fine, but when I tried to pay, the tip options were only 3, 5, and 7%. When I questioned the waitress about this, she admitted they'd already charged me an automatic 20% gratuity, and those were additional tipping options.

It's still a beautiful restaurant with pretty good food, but for not being very busy on a Saturday afternoon, the service could have been a lot better.“

“I work around the plaza so this is my go-to place to order from. Every time I have a full shift, I just order on the app, set a time to pick it up and my food is ready to go when I get there. The food is delicious and I always get the correct order, there have been no mishaps. The employees are really nice, I love the environment, personally it's the best place to eat from. My favorite meals are the Southwest Chicken Sandwich and the Southwest Chicken Wrap, I love the crunchiness of the tortilla strips and they are so tasty!“

We and were seated in the banquet room and Gail, our server, handled the group cheerfully and efficiently, mostly by herself. “I always enjoy going to Wolf Creek. I've never had a bad meal. Everything is tasty, the portions are huge (half-size pasta is two meals for me), and service is always prompt and super friendly. Happy hour has some amazing deals. We get two appetizers and two drinks for around $30, including the tip. The olive tapenade doesn't look super appetizing but it's absolutely delicious. I could make an entire meal of just that and the fresh bread. The patio is nice and private and shaded. Could use a little more ambiance but they've earned their five stars with me. “Honestly very very nice people working at this place. They open at 11 but I was there at 9 am. I requested them if I can use their restroom? They allowed. I requested them to charge me for a sandwich, they refused. Usually in California they do not allow non customers to use restrooms with many many different excuses.“

The sauces are on point, etc. My sister and I decided to try here for the first time with our kids, who are picky eaters and they absolutely loved it. We got the six pack with the green sauce and the marinara! All delicious. The owner is kind and informative if you have questions. We definitely will be back for catering or for ourselves hahaha. You will not be disappointed with these empanadas! Also, you order from the outside window, Do Not walk inside. They also have an app or you can call to place your order and pick it up. So many good things to say, not enough space. This is my family's new spot for delicious empanadas.

“This place feels seedy from the outside and dated and unwelcoming when you step in. Don’t let that fool or stop you. Once you’re in and seated you realize most everyone is a regular, and the staff is warm and welcoming. And the food is seriously stellar. I had the Bullet (their original recipe since 1954), my girlfriend the Huevos Rancheros. You can taste the time and care that goes into making everything from scratch. I don’t usually go places more than once but look forward to becoming a regular here and trying more on the menu.“
