“We used the place for a scene in a film. The place was really impressive. As a musician I usually find it hard to play gigs in smaller spaces. But this place is modern and updated. The stage is nice with plenty of room for a drum kit and still move around. They have nice stage lighting and an overall good musical club vibe. I will definitely book shows at this club for my band. It is a great spot for live shows.“

“Service is always slow and the servers are rude. It feels like you are bothering them when you ask for anything. A soda refill takes forever, unlimited salad refills are great in theory but you can never catch anyone to ask for a salad refill! When someone finally shows up, it's seems like they are doing you a favor instead of doing their job. We love the food here but don't come as often as we want to because for $175 meal we feel the service has to be better.“

“For it being u first timing dining out for Thanksgiving I was worried that the nostalgic feeling of a family gathering would be missing but I was definitely wrong. Everyone in the restaurant was having a great time and you could feel all the love and energy in the air. Started with some sourdough and truffle butter and some mezcal cocktails. Both were amazing. Dinner consisted of a 3 course menu and between our party, we were able to cover all items offered. The appetizers were a choice of scallops, crab cake, or pumpkin ravioli. All 3 were so delicious that we wish we don't want to share haha. The main courses were turkey, osso-bucco, or aJohn Dory fish plate. Again, all 3 were so delectable but the turkey and osso bucco were stars because they came with heaping sides. We paired our dinner with a couple bottles of Pinot noir from France. Dessert had a pumpkin pie, French applie pie, or a dark chocolate ganache tart. The pumpkin pie was probably the best I've had. The apple pie was also very good. The ganache tart was decent but very strong chocolate and orange flavors which I wasn't quite ready for. Service was excellent from all staff members and the decor gave you this feeling like you were at home. I will definitely be coming back to have a regular dinner because everything was on point.“

“This was my first time here. The valet price wasn’t insanely expensive. Upon walking in, I literally felt like I was in an LA (proper) hotspot. It was busy, thus a bit loud; but it went with the vibe of the restaurant. (Good thing, not a negative one.) It looks like a great place for first dates, date night, girls night out… Maaaybe not for for families with little kids. I work with children and I adore them, however I suggest getting a sitter for the night so everyone can enjoy the ambience. The service was amazing, Mary was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful with suggestions. Everyone at the table loved their dishes, there were zero complaints. Our friend’s daughter works there and was able to pop out to say hello and goodbye. I cannot wait to go back and try everything else on the menu.“

“I stopped here to watch the Dodgers World Series game 1. This is the local dive bar, the crowd was loud but the Dodgers had a walkoff home run so I was expecting some noise. Pool table was old school, only a quarter to play with a chalkboard of who’s next. I had a fun evening and the lady behind the bar bought me a beer, how often does that ever happen. A five star evening for me!“

“I’ve been coming to this spot since it was the Celtic Raven, and I happened to walk in on Chela’s Cantina during its soft launch. I’ve been a regular ever since day one. The owner is phenomenal, and the crowd it attracts is just as great! friendly, welcoming, and full of good vibes.

There’s always something to do here: enjoy music, grab some food and drinks, hop on karaoke, or play a round of pool. While the alcohol selection is smaller compared to bigger bars, it actually introduced me to wine spirits and gave me a new appreciation for trying something different.

I'll admit, I didn't expect to fall in love with El Potro Bar. At first glance, I thought it might not be my vibe, but boy was I wrong! This hidden gem has become my regular haunt, and for good reason.

The real stars of the show are bartenders Alejandra and Raquel. They're two of the kindest, most attentive, skilled and attractive bartenders I've encountered in ages. Their warm smiles, quick wit, and expertly crafted drinks make every visit a delight.

Sure, the atmosphere might be laid-back and slow-paced, but that's exactly what I've grown to appreciate. No pretentiousness, just genuine hospitality and a cozy ambiance that makes me feel right at home.

Alejandra and Raquel know their stuff, always willing to offer recommendations or whip up something special. Their passion shines through in every pour, and it's infectious.

Don't let the slow pace fool you - El Potro Bar has become my favorite spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a perfectly chilled beer.

“My gfs and I came here for a girls night out. Parking is in the parking lot and only $2 with validation. Make sure you email Apt 501 to be added on the guestlist before you come. It does get crowded but as long as you get in before 10 am, the wait isn't too bad. The lounge is located on the 5th level. Dress code isn't strict compared to vegas clubs. But be prepared for an asian crowd full of young kids. I think the average age was in the 20s to early 30s. The was a live dj who played only 90s hip hop music while you get down the dance floor. I felt like i was in my 20s reliving 90s music while hanging out with 20 year olds.“

“We were in LA to attend a birthday party at the Peninsula Hotel and my economically shrewd wife found Maison 140 as a cool and inexpensive nearby hotel - which we were very happy with. However drinks in the downstairs Bar Noir was an incredible added bonus. Randy the Barman engaged us immediately and within 3 minutes we had our generously poured drinks and were chatting to other guests.
