“I went to the one in Paso Robles that is i On creston but their website does. Not show the one in Paso just in Templeton . I was super impressed they did a beautiful job on redecorating the new place the service was excellent and quick . I had the Philly cheese steak it was absolutely delicious. My other party had the tortilla soup and some else had the chili they both said it was excellent . We ordered a side of the onion rings they very good not too heavy tasting nor greasy just perfect. Our waitress was very tentative checked in on us often and super polite . Definitely will be back again . Highly recommend this place . They have something for everyone huge menu .They even have something for the vegan, gluten free person.“

“I took my wife here for her birthday after reading reviews, and thought it sounded like a fun experience. It was such a fun, intimate experience. The bar holds 16 people, and by the end, everyone was socializing, laughing, and enjoying the dinner and wine pairings. Ian is very generous with the wines, and you get to try quite a few different wines. The food was very delicious and paired well with each of the wines. And, I really enjoyed seeing the true joy Ian has for the wines and hosting such an evening.“

But it did not disappoint. The broth alone was tasty. A single serving can feed two. And I like how they served on the side, generous amount of basil, Mung bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeño (for added kick).“

“We wanted a place in Paso Robles near the freeway that we could stop and have pizza on the way home from seeing Hearst Castle with our family. Well not only did we find a pizza place, we found a really good one and from the amount of business they where doing on a Wednesday evening I would say many people agree! It is locally owned and operated by friendly, helpful people who know how to make great food. Now if only they would open one in the Fresno/Clovis area.“

After being recommended to come here for a Carnitas burrito, we sidestepped and actually got a Carnitas fries. Super glad we did. Definitely shareable for two people. The fries were just the right thickness in between a steak fry, and a shoestring fry. Tons of white whole grated cheese. A delicious avocado sauce. And your choice of meat. And lots of it. We chose the Carnitas and thought they were pretty good. Although they were more cubed than shredded. Will definitely get this again, but we will try a different meat.“

“The food is good but small portions. Order more than you think you want. That said, what they serve is very good. Try the Mac with all the different cheeses to pick from. The service is great! They keep track and check back often. The drink are well made but there wine by the glass is limited and not great, at least for the reds. Strange since we are in wine country. The place is very loud so you have to talk loud to people in your party.“

“It was hard to tell from the humble exterior what a high quality, convivial experience awaited inside. The reviews were on target regarding the food which was delicious seafood (there were meat choices too but we picked it for its name Catch). We ordered the oysters which were fabulous with freshly grated horseradish and the clam chowder that my husband reluctantly shared. My husband chose the sand dabs which are hard to find and they were cooked perfectly. I chose the fish trio and it was superb, everything moist and sauce on the side which I prefer. Veggies were great, a selection cooked al dente. After a long discussion where the chef suggested we sample some the wines first we got to the perfect match since we both chose a different wine.“

“Pho 4 U is a really good Vietnamese restaurant. I'm giving it four stars because they really need to hire more wait staff. The poor girl working Friday night by herself was overwhelmed since she was doing everything including taking orders over the phone. There was another guy working but he was also running around trying to keep up with all the orders.
The menu is good and to the point which covers all of the best Vietnamese dishes. We ordered the Vermicelli noodle with grilled pork and egg roll and Chicken Pho. The Chicken Pho broth was not salty and just the right flavor.
We will come back next time we are in the area but maybe not a Friday night. :)“

“Absolutely amazing place must visit if you are at all into tacos. This is not your average taco. The Carne Asada was packed with good quality meat and the shrimp taco was also wonderful. They’re price 6 to 8 dollars but well worth it.

“We're taking our yearly family mini vacation to pismo Beach and decided to stop by this place to try it out.. and im so glad we did.. with 2 teens and 3 adults. “We loved the atmosphere and the food for sure. Restaurant was busy and the Service for us was way under par. Got drinks and water pretty fast but food was really slow and we had ordered chips with salsa and guac when we first sat down, but food showed up first. We asked about the chips,salsa and guac and the waiter said is should of been here already. To his credit he brought the chips and salsa and said they would take them off the bill. But guac never arrived. Also once food arrived we only saw the waiter once before we were almos finished eating, and then not again for about 30min to get the bill.

I would still recommend Fish Gaucho as the food was great and I think it was just a very busy night but service should never be that sparce...“
