“I chanced on this place from a person I met at a bar downtown DHS. Looks kinda trashy from the outside but don't judge this book by its cover. The best Karaoke experience I've ever had and I do it a lot. A real stage, stage lighting, smoke machines and friggin A, an actual guitar player who looks like Mick Mars playing along if he knows the song and he seemed to know them all! I sang Black Keys, Deep Purple and The Who so right up his alley. Redd was impressed enough that he bought me a shot after I sang The Seeker, never had a DJ buy me a drink! Both the bartenders were super nice and drinks were really inexpensive so this place freaking rocks. Great crowd too, lots of really friendly locals. And also get this, the place has several pool tables, the longest shuffleboard I've ever seen and dog friendly too!“

“There is good food, there is great food, and once in a great while you hit that place that not only has great food, but amazing service, owner and staff. Those moments really hit, and this was one of those moments. Hint, they open at 4, get in line at least by 3:30.“

We visited Southern California - Palm Desert, Yucaipa, and Malibu - for Spring Break 2021. The sun, the water, fun in the pool... and smoothies... such a joy. Before I had a chance to think about it, smoothies were en route from Chuckwalla... strawberry, banana, and alcohol-free pina colada. Rebekah delivered them to us with a big smile and infectiously positive attitude. Rebekah turned the fun up a notch with her dancing and smiling and laughing as she took our orders and delivered to the families around the pool... everyone was extra happy when she was around. “Eight Desert Divas dined at Sí Bon Restaurant in Rancho Mirage on Thursday. We were celebrating one of our own lovely Diva's birthday. We made reservations ahead of time (thankfully) because they were VERY busy. It is a popular place. The service was excellent. The menu was great. They offer a summer menu which includes a three course dinner for $32. They also have a happy hour menu. I ordered the meat loaf dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. Others selected steak with fries, tacos, mussels, and a few other items. There were no complaints at all. They even brought out a birthday chocolate mousse with a candle and 8 individual spoons to honor our birthday girl. Our server was wonderful and he gave us separate checks (which we always appreciate). It was definitely a special night and we highly recommend Sí Bon. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time. You won't be disappointed.“

“The Red Barn in Palm Desert is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the decor is stunning--classy, intimate, and reminiscent of a true speakeasy. You can tell the owners were incredibly thoughtful and intentional with every detail of the space, creating an atmosphere that feels both elevated and welcoming.

The music and live DJ set the perfect vibe, and the craft cocktails are quite impressive--clearly made by skilled mixologists. The whole experience feels like stepping into a high-end lounge you'd expect to find in Las Vegas. It honestly reminded me of the sophisticated vibe of the Juliet Cocktail Room at the Venetian Hotel.

“We had the best time staying in the RV park! Kory was quick to respond to requests and the staff and volunteers were fabulous. They serve lunch most weekdays and a yummy breakfast on Sundays - all from a menu! Amazon drop boxes, laundromat and shopping nearby- we would stay again in a heartbeat 💓“

“Had a fantastic experience at the Hideout yesterday. We couldn’t get a table at another restaurant for an hour so while we were waiting we walked around and saw a guitarist setting up at that Hideaway. They let us know that they opened at 11:00, but the waiter arranged for us to sit in the patio and got us drinks while we waited for a few minutes. The food was very good, my burger was the best burger I have ever had and it came out as ordered (no bun/no cheese). I chose a drink off the menu (Strawberry Mule) and ordered it as a mocktail, refreshing and delicious. The service was delightful and the music lovely. Definitely going back.“

“Went to a 5pm fundraiser. Clearly they let an entire restaurant in early. There was not one seat available at 5. It was already maxed out with people wolfing down appetizers and wine with not one seat open. Not Cool. Clearly the good Ole boys got the we will let you in early memo. We talked to the owner for a bit and he is such a nice, down to earth guy. Some of these reviews state otherwise but from my experience those people just need something to complain about. Great atmosphere and people. Will be coming here everytime we visit.“

“Table chips and salsa are really good. My wife ordered a medium house margarita and I ordered a medium vintage margarita. The vintage is $9.00 more and we both honestly couldn't tell the difference. I will say I was shocked how big the medium margarita is! For appetizer we ordered macho nachos with beef... Yum! For our meal we shared a chimichanga burrito which was also really good. I would definitely recommend this place for great Mexican food. Staff were all very friendly as well.“

“When I was about 10 years old, maybe younger, I loved the carne Asad burrito from here. Im 35 now and the burrito is made the same way and taste the same. It's a great to have something like this in my life and I hope it never changes“

“I have visited Larkspur Grill on many occasions. This is truly the only time where they've just not hit the mark. We were stuck off to the side of the stage with very bright (not traditional restaurant lighting but, more importantly, the meals just weren't very good! I had the swordfish and it was over-the-top salty. My date had the salmon and it too was salty and slightly burnt on one side. Sneaky of the kitchen staff to turn the burnt side down and still serve it.

I hope this isn't a sign of things to come!

That's all I could ask for and I'm more than satisfied with the outcome. Like I mentioned, I've dined here on a number of occasions and I have always had great service and meals at Larkspur!“
