“Really chill spot. They have a bunch of board games and books for patrons. The seating and atmosphere is really comfortable and inviting. It was pretty quiet when we went on a Wednesday night, but it was still a great place to hang out with friends.
I had it w/o alcohol, but the How the West Was Won was really good.

Parking: We arrived during a low-traffic time, and the restaurant nextdoor was closed, so there was plenty of space in the back-door parking; but it's a small lot, so it might be a bit difficult during busier times.“

“Their food is always fresh and made with high quality ingredients, the spicy fish in red sauce and wild rice is my favorite, Tom yum soup and pad see ew are delicious for appetizers their spicy crispy Brussels sprouts and mushroom chips are to die for! “After many visits over the years, this was the best ever! The oxtail dumplings are to die for, as was the peach & tomato salad. Duck breast was as good as any- perfectly cooked. I only order crostata’s when in LA as nobody else can make them this good. Maybe wasn’t quite as great as their old sister restaurant, Santa Monica Yacht Club, but was close. Also have to mention the service, we remembered our waiter from years ago as he was also outstanding.“

“Such a wonderful dinner in an unassuming spot. The restaurant was busy, but we still felt like we had an intimate dinner. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, omnivore friendly. Andrew, our server has obviously been in this business a long time. He really added to the upscale experience, helping us through the menu and even being kind and patient with the children at the table. Great place for out-of-town guests that want a guaranteed wonderful meal.

She recommended the Lobster sliders to start and a wonder white wine which we enjoyed throughout the meal. She spaced out each course so we had some time to savor the unique and wonderful flavors which we so appreciated. The albacore cerviche was one of the best cerviche I have ever had anywhere. And the boar ragu pasta was divine. But the Tikka Massala Chicken was the most delicious presentation of chicken imaginable. We also loved the desert Allison suggested which was an unusual take on peanut butter and whipped cream and fresh berries. Just a delightful way to end the perfect night. Can't wait to return and try more of their innovative dishes.“

“I have dined at Meteora many times before and it's usually been excellent however the night that we went, the timing of the courses was notably off and delayed. The couple next to us got there right before and another couple 2 tables down got there after us and they were both 2 entire courses ahead of us. The entire meal lasted 3 hours due to this. There was plenty of staff - we saw staff constantly circulating so I have no idea what happened. When I said something, they were apologetic and offered us more drinks on the house, which I did appreciate, however, I really wasn't planning on such a long dining experience and disliked that we were essentially forgotten for the first half of our time there.“

“The chef's restaurant is upscale but cozy, with only 5 tables, all across from the open air kitchen. The chef and waiter collaborate to serve you each dish, telling you the ingredients that go into each dish... like little stories. Such a special experience!“

“Wonderful experience last night at Akasha. We got humnus. It came with veggies which I’ve never tried before but surprisingly it was delicious.

We also got the wings, pizza and Wagyu burger. And for desert we got the vegan brownie with ice cream. I did try the steak but the cut wasn’t my preferred type.

But I give them 5 stars because the customer service when I didn’t like the cut was top notch.

Our server was kind, gracious and attentive.

The hostesses were courteous and personable. Definitely recommend.“

Overall, you gotta try this place. The Vicky’s Breakfast is well balanced, the Pastrami was cooked perfectly and the roasted tomato and herb salad pairs with it so well to cut through that fat. The mushrooms were a sleeper in that plate ?‍? it was delicious! The chicken and waffles were great too, batter was light and crispy.“

“Asked the male server if we could sit at a table that had yet to be cleaned. To which he SNAPPED, if it's not cleaned it's not available find a seat at the other tables.

Hunter, the polite server said I'll clean up the table right away. Hunter had a great disposition, polite and professional. Another guest complained about the lack of service to the same server, his absence and had to look for him in the kitchen to express her dissatisfaction in the service to which he shrugged and then asked if she could have condiments brought to her table to which he signed and sarcastically repeated her request.

If you decide to dine here, ask for Hunter and NO ONE ELSE. If she's not available, please take your business elsewhere.“

“One of the best meals I’ve had in LA. The food was exceptional and had so many amazing flavors. I went here on a date and the atmosphere was perfect. It is all outside but the heaters kept it toasty and it’s very picturesque. Our favorite things we got were the yams, and there was a delicious mussels special that was SO good. Ambiance - The best outdoor seating on the street. They constructed some type of canopy, so that you were fully outside, yet covered.

Service. — Very friendly and prompt. The hostess took our reservation, gave an accurate wait time estimate…and maintained friendly eye contact as we waited. And our server was quite friendly and helpful.

Food — That is the main reason this restaurant gets a rare 5-star personal rating. The three of us chose from a wide array of dishes. EACH was so delicious that we were compelled to share with the others. Adult daughter ordered the Salmon pizza, amd raved. Wife got the Fish Tacos, and the Brussels Sprouts. Loved them. I ordered their Tremendous Burger. This had to be the first time in over a decade that a burger’s picture and description were compelling enough for me to order them at a sit down restaurant. I actually forgot how good an Ole’ Fashioned cheeseburger could taste.

There are clearly many restaurant choices in L.A. If you are in the Larchmont area, definitely try Great White!

Food SEEMED great— smelled great in the space. My friend loved his burger. The caesar “side” with kale, brussel sprouts, and pistachios was delicious. The szechuan noodles were. Well it was the beef that was the problem. I wasn’t expecting them to be stringing in that way and was very glad to have ordered the spiced up hoisin sauce on the side.

“This restaurant should be received as a welcome addition to Westwood. I understand it's been here just shy of three years, but this was the first time for me. I started with a cocktail: the Robert, named for a regular who had his share of Sidecars there. After a Caesar salad, I tried their cacio e pepe. It was well prepared, al dente and clearly fresh pasta. Their draft beer selection was surprisingly well curated, too. I appreciate the friendly and thoughtful service, something increasingly rare.
