“Love this place - it’s always chill, the parm garlic fires are amazing, there’s tons of games and books and the drinks are all fun literary references.

The ONE complaint I have, is that for a place that’s mostly quiet, it consistently takes forever to get a drink.“

“They have the best Thai Food in Town . I have tried several Thai food restaurants throughout Los Angeles County and nothing g compares the to the quality, flavors, and freshness of this place . I actually live getting my food delivered or picked up , something I hate doing with other restaurants , however their food is always made to order and it survives the ride home . I never have to warm up it . Their Curries are addictive, I like all 3 of them . Their pineapple rice is so good and they always put plenty of of pineapple . I also love their “moneybags” and the dipping mayo I that it comes with . I like to order extra the next day it tastes ever better .“

“I don't heap praise without good reason. Tar & Roses was amazing literally on every level. The food, ambiance, service, attention to detail, and value were all excellent. Every plate was delicious, the staff were so welcoming, informative, and perfect in their timing of service, and it was a beautiful and relaxed space to have a special dinner. I even received a lovely follow up text from the general manager the next day thanking us for joining them. They are doing everything right and deserve your patronage, and you deserve to have a wonderful restaurant experience. Thank you!“

“This place came highly recommended from my lady friends who do luncheons regularly. I was blown away by the rock shrimp sandwich, had to control myself not ordering it again for round 2! “Had a nice lunch here. Great atmosphere in downtown Santa Monica right by the pier and across from a parking structure. The restaurant has a nice, swanky, seaside vibe. I had the ceviche and fish tacos, both of which were very good. Would recommend.“

“We had a spectacular meal last night and our server Allison went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. She recommended the Lobster sliders to start and a wonder white wine which we enjoyed throughout the meal. She spaced out each course so we had some time to savor the unique and wonderful flavors which we so appreciated. The albacore cerviche was one of the best cerviche I have ever had anywhere. And the boar ragu pasta was divine. But the Tikka Massala Chicken was the most delicious presentation of chicken imaginable. We also loved the desert Allison suggested which was an unusual take on peanut butter and whipped cream and fresh berries. Just a delightful way to end the perfect night. Can't wait to return and try more of their innovative dishes.“

“Brunch was terrific from exceptional breakfast burrito featuring golden Klondike potatoes, a frittata with spinach and mushrooms, and huevos rancheros with house made spicy sauce. Oh, we also had the eggs Benedict which were perfect. Never a bad meal at this converted apartment building into a boutique hotel, and it's clean and quiet and not a scene. A hidden BH gem!“

“The chef's restaurant is upscale but cozy, with only 5 tables, all across from the open air kitchen. The chef and waiter collaborate to serve you each dish, telling you the ingredients that go into each dish... like little stories. Such a special experience!“

“The little plates are yummy. I love the pita bread that came with the hummus (Salatim plate). The other plates were good also. I loved the bread pudding (I think it's better than the best cake). What I like the most about Bacari, besides the beautiful ambiance, is the friendliest staff.“

“This spot is a true gem in Culver City and one of my absolute favorites for brunch, happy hour, or dinner with friends. They’re famous for their gluten-free options—seriously, the gluten-free onion rings are out of this world and even better than the regular kind.

One thing you must try is their amazing signature drink, the Akasha—so refreshing and delicious!

Another bonus? They make incredible frozen dishes you can take home. It’s a total lifesaver on busy nights when you don’t have time to cook. Instead of grabbing a bland microwave meal from the grocery store, I just heat up one of their pre-made dishes and it tastes like I’m dining out, right at home.

Between the welcoming staff, the diverse menu, and the beautiful landmark building, this place really has it all. Highly recommend!“

“Loved the experience - 5 senses stimulated. Coastal jungle (?) themed decor, zen-like music, and scented smoke that fully relax us before the meal.

Creative dishes with some explosive and unique tastes. It's more on the heavy and complex side which we found inspiring, and it's probably better to go with a drink to offset (can order separately). We also tried the juice pairing - while interesting, we didn't find it enhancing the tasting menu much.

Overall, we would come back for this experience. This reminds us of the experience at Central at Lima, Peru.

Btw, they have valet parking, but we came on a Sunday and could park on the street (no parking after 6pm Mon-Sat). Otherwise available street parking is 4 blocks away.“

“From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was great.

I have food allergies and they were able to accommodate me without issue. Our server, a young woman originally from Louisiana, was friendly, funny, and attentive. The indoor/outdoor vibe was spot on for a beautiful day.

The food itself was very good and just the right amount. The beer selection was varied to fit most tastes. The prices for both were in line with a mid-range restaurant in Burbank.

Being in downtown Burbank, parking was challenging for us. Even with a handicapped card I had to park over two blocks away. That was not fun but it was the same for all restaurants and shops in the area and not just Finney's - something to be aware of if you're going downtown.

I would gladly return when I'm in the area again.“

“Love a place where locals hang out ! Lots of options and everything sounded equally nice ! Our server was very professional and helpful and the dishes we go were well cooked and huge so we couldn't finish it all. A great starter is the firecracker shrimps - suggested by the young man who served us! Another great thing about the place is that it closes later than other places in the area so you can stay for drinks if you like.“

“We have been going to Horses ever since they opened since it’s right in our neighborhood. The most friendly staff with a big shout out to Amanda. The most amazing craft cocktails and absolutely delicious food. I think we’ve almost tried everything on the menu and have not been disappointed once. Can be hard to get a reservation, but we usually get there at 5:15 and are able to sit at the bar with no problem.“

The atmosphere was a vibe based on the ambiance and the awesome DJ!! My family and I were in town from Alabama and we enjoyed every minute at STK! We had filet steaks , Ny Strip, salmon, bacon mac n cheese , classic Mac n cheese, and brussel sprouts. Everything was cooked to perfection. “The Great White Breakie was delicious, I loved the combination of goat cheese and sourdough. The folded eggs were also really good, especially with the bacon slices. Overall the flavors were really well balanced on this plate, and I enjoyed how you could mix & match the different ingredients to your taste. The Caesar Salad was very good, would recommend adding grilled chicken on the side. We also liked the coffee here, especially the Shaken Iced Latte!

Great food and great service too. The atmosphere is also very relaxed, perfect for brunch but I could also see this being a nice dinner place too.“
