“I’m so happy Froggy’s reopened - it’s always been my favorite patio in LA! I love all the hummingbirds and looking at nature - I feel I’m far away from the City/Valley - it’s so relaxing! The salmon tacos are awesome and freshly made guacamole doesn’t disappoint 👍🏻 The tortillas are lovingly made by hand and are fresh. One of the most soulful places in Los Angeles- great little bar and historic background. DONT go as I love the cozy authentic vibe - just kidding - I highly recommend this restaurant It would make a great venue for special occasions (this is unsolicited - I just can’t rave enough and want them to flourish- Covid was tough on them like many businesses) Lastly, everyone working there are so friendly and accommodating 5 stars ⭐️😄“

“Came here for a special dinner. We were in the hut room with the fireplace. I ordered Mary's Half Chicken. Sorry but it definitely needs more flavor more seasoning. The portion was pretty good. Then my boyfriend ordered the pasta. It was really good. So we swapped plates lol. The waiter didn't check on us often. However the couple next to us got a lot of attention. But we still enjoyed our night. As we left my boyfriend pulled me aside and proposed to me ❣️ made the night so special.“

“Exceptional and delicious food. You can taste the thought they put into every dish. The service was perfect as well, it was attentive but at the same time it did not feel forced or too pushy. Perfect place with a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend and would come back. I also appreciated that they add 4% health service charge to provide health care for their employees. It felt like they care about people working there and it was reflected in the atmosphere of the place.“

“I am not a huge fan of gf food, so I did my best to avoid anything that would have a wheat substitute. I got the southwest bowl. I thought the tofu was really good. The potatoes in it weren’t crispy at all, and the addition of zucchini made it a little watery. Good flavor just not a knock out.“

“Impressed it actually lived up to the hype. The addition of cucumber to their lox bagel was interesting in a good way as it added an earthiness and a thicker bite. I like that the lox wasn’t paper thin and actually had some chew to it — they also tasted exactly like the Kirkland smoked, no shame if it is, it’s the best in the game. I really liked the pickled onion because they add sweetness and acidity as well as the inclusion of lemon zest over juice because it added acidity without unnecessary moisture.
I was also surprised at how much I like The Mia. The avocado was super creamy, perfectly salted and I loved how the Fresno chilis cut through the fat. The greens were also well seasoned and added pepperiness. While I did enjoy the pile of toppings, they just kind of fall off and make the bagel harder to eat than it needed to be.
Layla Bagels is still maybe a bit fancy for my taste, but definitely worth the experience.“

The place was pretty quite for the lunch hour but this meant that we were quickly served. Our server did not say very much but everything was handled in a professional manner. “Love the atmosphere of this comfortably casual bar. Ample outdoor seating provides the perfect spot to sip a beer or two relaxing in the sunshine. I don’t eat meat so I haven’t tried the burgers, which come highly recommended. The garlic parmesan fries are excellent and enough for 3 people. Sorry I can’t say the same for the cauliflower wings or pretzels with cheese sauce. But I had the best-poured beer of my life—a fresh Scrimshaw pilsner in a sparkling-clean glass. See attached video. Despite the venue’s name, they now offer cocktails as well as beer and wine.“
