“First time being here since moving to this area last year and it was really good!To start off, their menu is decent amount of options to choose from. We had the Longganisa Sausage, Adobo Chicken Silog, wings, lumpia.Everything was really good especially the longganisa. I didn’t like the taste of the Adobo Chicken since it felt like it was missing something but pretty good.I think for those dishes and 2 sodas came out to about $40 which isn’t bad nowadays. No kids meals or kids portions but my daughter did like the wings.“

“Currently this place does not have any dine-in option. Take away/pick up only, and they prefer for you to order online ahead of time. The food was amazing! Generally when it comes to lumpia, I usually am meh about. But I was very surprised with the lumpia here and really liked it! We also ordered the sisig tater tots and longanisa omelette, both we thoroughly enjoyed!Parking: Very limited parking spots“

“I visited this place after one of my coworkers who is Filipino told me about it. We made sure to go on a Thursday so I could get Lechon!! The food was really good, fresh, and you can tell made with love, so much flavor and juicy goodness, I definitely recommend others that are looking to try Filipino food for the first time or if they’re already familiar to go here to get there fixed. The service was great and also the establishment was clean and warm, no frills. They also cater as well, and they ended up catering the Thanksgiving day meal for my job.“

“First visit to Ethan's today. They were out of lechon at 2pm but I got the Crispy Pata, which was great! Other than the steam table foods, they cook to order, so you'll have to wait a few minutes. There were a couple dry spots on the pata, but still a five-star offering. Friendly staff. Next visit, I will show up earlier to catch the lechon and order some lumpia too.“

BTR Pinoy Restaurant Filipino • $
1560 W Willow St, Long Beach

“I love this place. Owner and workers are awesome. But I have to give them 4 stars. I was there this morning and one of the customers in front of me was vigorously scratching his hands and body then placed his arms on the shelf above the food. When I told him not to do that because it's UNSANITARY. He then blew up and the workers made it look like it was my fault. That's fine, because maybe they didn't see what happened. I am no beside myself on reporting this to the heath department.“

“It's not much to look at from the outside but the food is tasty and portions are ample. We usually rely on home cooked Filipino meals when we need it fix but this is a tasty alternative. Staff was friendly and offered to make a dish from scratch when we didn't see what we were craving.“

“After visiting a VW show in Long Beach and showing homes in the South Bay we wanted some genuine Filipino food and this smaller restaurant was rated as one of the best... for a good reason. Michelle is an awesome host, very talkative and informative. My mother-in-law was born and raised in Pampanga and the roots of the restaurant are Pampangan as well. Sisig and Silog were very nice, halo halo a welcome palette cleanser. Parking was not difficult, even though we arrived at around 1pm on a Saturday. 10/10, highly recommended!“

Johnny's Kambingan Pilipino Filipino • $$

“If you've ever had Goat meat, then you'll know a good dish when you taste one! We've been in search of a place that specializes in Goat dishes. We finally found it! Johnny's Kambingan is definitely a place to visit when ever you're in the Carson or Bellflower areas. They serve tender, mouthwatering, "Kambing Caldereta", "Kambing Adobo", "Kambing Pinappaitan" and more! This is THE BEST PLACE to go for any of the above. We also tried their "Kambing Kinilaw" and it was so delicious. Johnny the owner, is a very nice man who definitely knows his stuff. One of the best eatery finds of the year for us! We've already been back and will continue to support businesses like this who care about their food as much as they care for their customers!“
