“I was so impressed by the service at Dopo Pizza & Pasta. We made a reservation for our anniversary on the Saturday night of Labor Day weekend. The restaurant was packed and they were running behind. Our table was delayed by 20 mins. That certainly could have tanked our evening but the manager and wait staff went above-and-beyond to make it up to us, offering wine and an appetizer on the house while we waited and continually checking in with us. Some problems can’t be avoided in a restaurant, but the way you handle them and take care of your guests are within the establishment’s control and the management of Dopo exemplified the “right” way to handle these things. Oh, and the food was great, too! Highly recommend the burrata app.“

“Was in town for a bachelorette party and this bar made it extra awesome, especially for putting up with our “stroke or tap” game.

But serious question, if there is a bush and you only shave one side, it is now two face. Which side is the ugly side: bald or hairy?

We were seated in a beautiful spot with stunning views of the Northstar ski slopes on a bright, sunny day. The experience was elevated by sitting behind a subtle tinted glass that softened the harshness of the sun while still letting in all the light and scenery — the perfect balance. Surrounded by towering Sierra Nevada pines, the setting felt serene, cozy, and quintessentially Tahoe.

We started with a vanilla latte that was nothing short of magical — it truly felt like a warm embrace in a cup. Smooth, comforting, and crafted to perfection.

The meat burger was perfectly done — juicy, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. My son absolutely loved the chocolate and strawberry ice cream, which was a delightful treat.

Dessert was the grand finale: the salted caramel lotus with vanilla sponge cake, caramel glaze, and cacao nib streusel was an absolute masterpiece. Each bite delivered a beautiful harmony of textures, flavors & suspense; indulgent yet refined.

“10/10 experience! The service was absolutely amazing and very impressive, especially with our large group. Our food and drinks came out incredibly quickly, and everything was handled so smoothly. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our entire visit. It’s not easy to provide great service to a large group, but they made it look effortless! Luis was a server tonight and he was very kind and hardworking. We had such a wonderful experience and definitely recommend others to come here. A major plus - their margaritas were soooo good! “I don’t understand the lower ratings for this place. We had a great experience. Service was attentive and they were able to accommodate a special request. Menu had lots to offer and the food was delicious. Unlike some other restaurants at the resort, portions were generous. And Tipsy Tuesday offers 2 for 1 wine by the glass with generous pours. Please give them a try. You won’t be sorry!“

“6 peaks is a lovely restaurant. The staff were super friendly from the hostess (sandy?) to the waiter (Sean?) and everyone else we interacted with. The view of the valley is stunning and the ambiance was romantic with a live piano player setting the mood. We chose handmade pappardelle and branzino as our mains and they were delicious and beautifully plated. Perfect place for date night especially if you stay nearby.“
