Wineries in Truckee

“We visited a few years ago, in 2018 and bought several bottles of Red Barn Red. Tonight 2/15/2025, I opened our last bottle. It held its color and flavor. We are really enjoying this lovely wine. I think it's time to visit Truckee, again. Cheers!“

“Great dinner and wine at Petra! It is located in the charming Northstar village, which is very active with a roller rink, different restaurants, gelato, coffee shops, and a candy shop. Petra is the cozy vibe of the village! Great wine options- I loved the Cabernet Sangiovese. Nice guy behind the bar recommended the chicken meal and it was so good- I ate every bite! The Brussels sprouts were so crispy and yum, the chicken was tender, and the hummus was delicious. Will come back for the dessert!“
