“So we ordered the Hawaiian barbecue mix and the half-and-half with chicken Katsu and fried shrimp. For both, we got two Mac and one rice, and then an extra thing of rice and a katsu musubi. Let's start with the portion sizes they were huge. It was enough for both of us to take our leftovers for lunch the next day, so that was really great. The barbecue mix was the better out of the two for me, but my friend said the Katsu curry was really good not soggy etc . So I feel like it's safe to say the food was delicious. “Finally got a chance to try this out since had my eye on it since it opened in the neighborhood. The restaurant is on the smaller side and has about 15 tables total so definitely have a bit of patience if going right at dinner time. They only take reservations for parties over 5. If you go at non-peak times, should be able to get seated right away. The host and servers were friendly and constantly came by to clear plates as they were finished and refill drinks. Food wise, you can order a la carte or from 2 levels of AYCE. We went for the premium AYCE and enjoyed it after leaving stuffed and wagyu oozing from our pores. The meat quality was excellent and while each plate was only 4-7 slices, you can just keep ordering if you can handle all the rich and fatty meats. The carpaccios and other appetizers were good and you can order 1/2 size of many dishes so you don't overstuff yourself. So while the price ($75), for premium is definitely up there, it is fair for the quality of the meats and other options. You have a 90 min. limit so be mindful of that as the food does not come out as quickly when the restaurant is full. Overall, something to splurge on once in a while and if you're looking for premium meats. Friendly tip- wear clothes you don't mind smelling like bbq/smoke as their exhaust system could use some improvement as you can visibly see the smoke later in the night when busy as the exhaust at each table is lacking in effectiveness.“

I had the brisket sandwich and fries, which was pretty good. I will say, the brisket was a bit salty but overall the meal was pretty good & well portioned. The fries and onion rings were bomb! “We came here about 10 years ago and loved it. Passing through the area again, we decided to see if the magic was still there. It did not disappoint. Bekah, our server, was exceptional. I think if it didnt have the pork in it, it will taste better to my tastebuds. My boyfriend liked it though. I was craving something sweet and started searching Yelp in Panorama City for a spot to grab Turon to try for my first time. I landed on Sally's, so I stopped in after seeing the good reviews. It seemed like a small family run place that does mostly take out orders from small to large. They were getting ready to close but I still I asked about their Turon. They were sold out for the day and kindly advised it usually best to order ahead because they do sell out and it's best to get them fresh. I believe it was the owners, a man and woman working who also asked me how I heard about them and started explaining all about the food choices, providing recommendations, showing pictures and how to order for next time. The best part was they did have 1extra Turon and gave it to me free and refused to charge me. I really wanted to pay but they said it was a sample so I knew what they tasted like for the next time. Honestly, this made my day!!! The owners made me feel so comfortable and welcomed as they could tell it was my first time visiting and I was out of place. It made me feel like I was at my Filipino friends house who is always making delicious food to try. I'll definitely be back to grab more Turon and try all their food. We were very surprised at how good they tasted because we were the only ones in there.
