“Pleasantly surprised with the flavor and presentation for the Carne Asada Nachos. Meat was generous and juicy, and good mix of guacamole, sour cream, cheese, jalapenos, and salsa. A little bit on the smaller side and a little pricey at $15, but for theme park food, it could have been a lot worse in terms of quality and taste.“

“Came in this morning craving birria and after seeing a few places, chose to go with this place and I was so happy with the food and service ! I got the 3 birria dorado combo plate and I have to say the highlight of the meal was the rice and pickled onions ! The rice tasted like my own grandma made it lol seasoned well and overall cooked fresh. The birria was FIRE and the consome hit the spot on a rainy day , I just wish my tacos was a little more fried BUT doesn't take away from flavor and taste. 10/10 would definitely come back if around the area!“

“For my 50th birthday, some buddies of mine and I did a Southern CA weekend trip that included dinner at Brothers Cousins Tacos on Saturday night. I had seen them mentioned on Food Network and across too many food blogs to count... All saying that their burritos are simply the best. I needed to test this for myself. I ordered an al pastor burrito with all the fixings and ate it right there in the parking lot. Wow! I was blown away by how incredible that burrito was! But, believe it or not, what was better than the burrito was how fun and interactive the staff was. Thank you so much for making our visit to your incredible Mexican food setup so welcoming and fun. “Phenomenal!! The burritos have the perfect ratio of meat to beans/rice. Genius portions of Avocado comes in the burrito at no additional charge. The tortillas are handmade and perfection. They're so fluffy and soft they almost taste like tamale texture. The carne asada street tacos are delicious. They have a table with togo ramekins where you can load up on several different homemade salsas/sauces and garnishes. I highly recommend the avocado tomatillo cream sauce! Everything is vegan and actually very healthy. Unlike other places that claim to be healthy this local place is actually one of the healthiest. They use organic, clean, fresh, and delicious ingredients, including healthy cooking oil, not toxic and inflammatory seed oils. I have tried many dishes and they have been nutritious, comforting, and delicious. My mom is an amazing hispanic cook, and I grew up with many of these dishes. She has competition now LOL!I tried their pupusas and they're the absolute best, fresh maize dough (masa), no lard, not greasy, no unhealthy and toxic vegan cheese, simply great. Also, their enchiladas are devine, they're fresh, great, and delicious. They make them to order and not to mentioned their tortillas are hand made, yum! I also tried their bfast tofu with cactus (nopales) and it was extraordinary. Deserts are also delicious! Also, the service here is delightful. The owner is very friendly, kind, funny, and caring. The ambiance is also pleasant, relaxing, and cozy. Please don't think it twice and give them a try, you won't regret itVegetarian options: Menu is all vegan“

“Probably in my top 3 breakfast burritos in LA if not my favorite. Almost a literal hole in the wall spot you order from along the busy street in Atwater Village. No seating - just take out. You order from the window and grab it when it's ready. Can't remember if I started coming here before or after Bourdain made it famous, but I'm not a gatekeeper and I'm happy for any fame or business this place received as a result. My go to is the papas and steak breakfast burrito. I ask to add spinach. As of 11/23 the price of this comes to $7. Super reasonable. I love the salsa here. Spicy and makes me sweat but such a great smoky flavor. So delicious. There was a time in my life I used almost get a burrito here every week - whether it was the morning after hanging out with my friends living in Silverlake or the time period in my life when I lived in Silverlake myself. So many great memories tied to this place for me. Parking can be a little tough depending when you go. There's lots of metered parking or you may have to park a bit away and walk here.“

Nana's Kitchen Caterers •

“This will be the third time we have used Nana's Kitchen. So clearly, we love what they do. The food is fantastic, a step up from your normal taco caterer, and we loved the passed appetizers while the guests were arriving. They set up a beautiful buffet spread and used gorgeous bowls. Everything was fresh and delicous. They homemade the tortillas and served delicious guacomole, again homemade. The servers were ontime, self sufficant and cleaned up after themselves. They boxed up all of the leftovers for us which was really nice. The only negative I could find, and you just need to know, is that beyond the food/catering fee (minimum of $650 for 40 people) they charge a travel fee, a convenience fee to use a credit card, and a 18% service fee which is NOT gratuity. So ontop of the food, you will need to expect to pay about 40 % more on the charges (your own tip to the servers, their 18% service fee and travel fee and of course tax). They are transparent about it, but something you should know. With that being said, I would still use them again.“

I have since moved up north, but come back to LA from time to time and make it a point to visit Tacos Delta. It is remarkable to me that the burrito remains exactly the same, the fish perfectly crunchy on the outside and blissfully tender on the inside. All the fixings on the inside are tasty and fresh, popping with flavor. The tortilla also remains the same, imbued with deep nutty, earthy notes - so delicious one could eat it alone and be perfectly happy.Kudos for the way they service their soda machine - their pop is carbonated to perfection with just the right amount of syrup. “4+ Considered one of the best by many or at least one of the most popular taco spots in Los Angeles. They have a good variety of items and meats, but I would say they are most known for their al pastor (marinated, spit-roasted pork that is usually served with a slice/ chunk of pineapple). The service here is pretty efficient since they have to be - there's almost always a line. The vibe: depending on the time of day or night you come, it's usually a mixed group of people wanting to try this spot, people eating after a drinking session, or just people looking for decently priced tacos. One of the times I was here, I was standing behind Dante Basco (Rufio!), haha. Usually a fun vibe for sure. My usual here is two tacos (typically the al pastor) and a mulita. It used to be that there was a toppings and salsa bar where you would dress up your food. Not sure if it's because of the pandemic or people taking advantage and taking too much stuff home, you now have to go to a separate window to ask for the toppings and salsa and they're individually packaged. I definitely think this place is worth going for the al pastor. I myself have been here multiple times. Parking can be tough, but if you are going during the week there's usually parking along the street facing south on LA Brea right around the corner. Just be careful though as it is a relatively high traffic area and some people seem to drive recklessly in this area.“

“Everything about this place is top notch.Yes, the portions are not big, but what they lack in size. They absolutely make up for and taste and quality of ingredients. They only offer one dessert: flan. And that is all they need to offer. The flan was delicious and also of a good size to share.I've been here for meetings with co-workers, a drink at the bar during happy hour, and dinner with friends. This place is great for all occasions. And there's even parking in the back!“

“Best birria I ever had I take them my soup pot and always buy $40-50 worth of birria so it can last me 2-3 days. Their tacos are also very good and their hochata water is also very good. And there is never a big line if you get there when they open. And they also sell birria for parties you just tell them when your party is and they will sell you the birria for your party.“
