“I had been hearing about Boba tea and seeing it on Instagram,but never tried it until I got to California. I LOVE the mango flavor with the Tapioca pearls that look like blueberries! I asked for the most popular flavor and it did not disappoint! I will visit them again when I am in Cali!“

Customer service was AMAZING and love the atmosphere with the plants. Definitely worth checking out at least once.“

“Just tried this place out, and I'm definitely coming back! The coffee was great (I got the burnt sugar latte), the employee I spoke to was helpful, and the service was very fast. “Excellent baguettes. We tried the full-size omelette sandwich - a generously portioned, perfectly prepared soft French omelette in a crusty baguette. Superb. Almond and chocolate croissants were also very good.

It's counter service, right on the sidewalk of busy Melrose Ave. No seating other than a bench and a couple of stools to use while you wait for your freshly prepared order.

Parking can be a challenge. We snagged a street spot on Harvard. There's a park nearby with benches and shade if you want somewhere to eat your treats.“

“There are several excellent and unique boutique coffee stops on this strip and this one is especially representative of Hollywood today. Includes a bakery and kitchen with excellent offerings. My personal fave--plenty of tables and plugs for the laptop. If you want to linger, grab a hearty meal (breakfast and more, see menu) and write the next novel or blockbuster while supporting a coffee habit, this ticks all the boxes. Knowledgeable and approachable staff, and dog friendly as a bonus.“

“Real as it gets. Really good coffee. Got the cream top drink, sweet cream on top and long black underneath. I didn't know what long black is so for those like me, it's like an Americano except the espresso is poured on top of water (rather than the water into the espresso) which apparently makes it taste richer.

Idk about all that hoopla, but here's what I can tell you, it tastes damn good.

With each sip you get the perfect mix of flavors. First you taste the rich, strong, and bitter (in the best way) coffee - which also has a tiny hint of orange which works wonderfully. Then, just as it's about to become overpowering, you get the sweet cream on the back of the tongue, balancing it out. Each sip was a delight.

That said, by the time I was 70ish% done, I wasn't enjoying it as much. I'm unsure why, but wanted to share my honest feedback. I really wanted to like it as much as I first did, but toward the end maybe the balance was off or something, or the underlying flavors didn't work as well as I thought, but didn't like it as much.

Still, I will return. Very good coffee.“

“We loved our visit to Camel this morning. I’ve been out of the city for a while and I’m happy to see such a unique shop pop up. It reminded me of Star Wars inside ? obviously desert themed. Super sick. Love the seating upstairs. But most importantly the staff were very pleasant and the coffee was so good. I love when everything works in unison at a shop like that. Perfect americano. “Pam's is a fun spot with movie-themed decor but the important part is the coffee and tea drinks are excellent and the service staff was polite, welcoming and efficient.
There were some baked goods on display but we didn't partake. There is available street parking nearby most of the time.“

Please please please get the beuongo bbang (붕어빵/taiyaki). As a korean american Ive been craving the pastry that my halmoni used to get me back in Korea and this is the most authentic and delicious one that beats the one in Korea! I was so startled by the taste that I urged my parents to try and they agreed that the batter is really well made. The drinks were great too but definitely on the sweeter side (try the zodiac drinks, thought it was a cute way to try introduce new drink combos).

Parking and store:
Parking lot is a decent size for it being in ktown. The store is small inside but the atmosphere is so cozy and cute.

Service:
Im pretty sure the man who was taking my owner was also the owner but he was super friendly. Would go out of his way to make sure customers can find the bathroom and would check in with each of his customers.“

“Honestly, I've only ordered from Frank's coffee via delivery service. My favorite item on their menu that I order consistently is their Dirty Chai. It's literally perfection. I think they make this down to a science. I've tried it iced & hot and it's good both ways. I've tried lots of dirty chai from a lot of different places, but Frank Coffee does it the best! Also, their chocolate chip cookie is to die for. I moan in ecstasy every time i take a bite of that luscious cookie. The coffee is basically free if you think of your donation as more of a rental fee to be in this lovely communal space and have access to all that it offers. This place is ideal for making plans with business partners, writing scripts with friends, or just getting together for some time away from screens and computers. “I had a great time to stop by before I went to school. The parking was hard to find but there is ton of street parking! It was a really cute place to study and chat for a bit, it’s definitely a traditional tea house for tea lovers! My friend and I got the suiteki matcha powder for our drinks! It’s was really good! If you want sweetness, I would definitely ask the barista to help you with the choices they have ! Great customers, atmosphere was amazing and it felt like being back in Japan again !“

“The Vienna matcha was so good, the sweet cream on top was magical.

Be careful parking in the parking lot. The security guard who is running the parking lot is not professional and will let people block your car in instead of directing them to park somewhere else. We had to wait 15 min for a woman to come out of the coffee shop to move her car. We found that that the security guard let her block us in as we were trying to move. People in LA can be very rude and extremely selfish and they will make it seem like you are in the wrong, when you aren’t. You have to tell the security guard to not let other cars block you in if you come here and to do is job correctly. You’ll see when you come here.“

“Between a 3 and 4 star for the following reasons:

Cons: the salmon in the bowl was too fishy for my liking even though the rest of the bowl was good. My friend said her raw tuna was fine though. They give all iced drinks in plastic cups for sit down, that is not ok in 2026. The noise inside is unbearably loud with no sound proofing and loud pop music on top of that. Wish they did table service though I won’t hold that against them since a lot of places make you order at the counter as well.

Pros: beautiful beachy decor, clean, great friendly service, delicious matcha and other than the salmon the food was delicious.

All in all will come back and see if the other dishes are good.“
