“Amazing superb customer service! I would actually hope so for this space having limited seating.Note: if you feel like trying more than one main dish split it (ex:pho) and you’ll have a solid amount of food, they are not stingy about their splitsBanh mi was delish and packed high! They get their bun from a bakery in Los Angeles.Spicy garlic tofu bites were good. Their homemade chili oil was good too!Pho was solid just wish they had a different type of noodle and didn’t cut it up so much when splitting. The noodles were so short and they were hard to grab with the chopstickMetered parking on Montana and it’s right next to the dry cleaners near the cornerVegetarian options: They have options that’s just veggies onlyParking: Paid Street meter parking“
“2024 update: dined in for the first time and was underwhelmed with the food. Chickpea curry is decent, kaya toast is decent. The dan dan noodles are straight up not good! Extremely salty and fatty. Skipped dessert (unheard of for me) because the main dishes already made me feel so heavy and unhealthy.2022 takeout review: The laksa is incredible. It is easily two meals (can serve two people). I'm not a spice person and this was at the upper end of my spice tolerance but not too spicy. A side of clay oven bread is really good to dip in it. My only complaint was I ordered takeout and my order was ready 15 minutes later than the original estimate.“
“BEST pad see ewe I've had in LA! I'm quite picky when it comes to Thai food. I'm one for authenticity when it comes to food in general. So I like to learn the history & stories behind the food, and the people the food represents. Very friendly & welcoming service. Bright, simple, and clean ambience. The fried mango-sticky rice rolls are an excellent and a quite ingenious version of the typical mango & sticky rice dessert! I also appreciated the check out process with their handheld device & they take Apple Pay. From the beginning as I entered I felt welcomed, again throughout the service was like being waited on by family, all smiles; and to the end of the meal, bows and smiles! 3 suggestions though: 1. The Thai tea could have been done with little less milk and more tea, and maybe offer other milk options like almond or soy milk, but it was still very flavorful and smooth! 2. I would like to see an upgrade in the glassware used for drinks like the Thai tea, hopefully in the near future. 3. Need better professional pictures up on Yelp. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical in trying this restaurant as I saw there were only 94 other reviews, yet it all averaged 5 stars! So I always make a point to try restaurants that possibly may have been overlooked or underrated. This place is definitely an authentic gem one all would enjoy! They actually deserve 10 stars I'll definitely be back again ;)“
“Casual family-run Vietnamese spot that serves classic eats. Came here for dinner at 8pm on a weeknight with a friend and there was no wait. Parking is available in the back. Indoor dining only. Credit cards accepted. There was a Yelp check in deal where you could get 5% off your bill. We ordered some spring rolls as apps to share and they were very crispy. I had the pho tai and it was very filling. I liked the broth and the leftovers kept fairly well the following day.“
“Got lucky today after arriving at LAX. On our way home we found this spot! Yelp gave 4.5 stars. Absolutely delighted with my experience at this pho restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious, showcasing authentic flavors that left my taste buds in awe. The ambiance was enhanced by the charming touch of traditional music, creating a delightful atmosphere. What truly stood out was the exceptional service - always delivered with a genuine smile. A 5-star gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking an outstanding dining experience!“
“I should have taken a picture before I started devouring my food. Got the bowl with brown rice, crispy tofu and pretty much all the toppings. Had the traditional Fish sauce and cilantro ginger sauce. It's delicious. I feel like there aren't a lot of options in this area and this is a great one! Something for everyone. The bowl is huge so I'll probably save the rest for dinner. Highly recommend if you're looking for something tasty and healthy-ish in a hurry!“
“I loved this place. We were in a hurry to make a reservation for a museum and they were lightning fast. We sat down. Ordered and food was out in like 3 minutes. They have great vegetarian options too.The spring rolls were scrumptious and they didn't skimp on shrimp or pork. The sauce was divine. The pho was super yummy with just the right amount of meat. Broth was delicious. Kids got fried rice and it was a huge portion. I also got the banh Mai sandwich which was good but a little less meat than I typically get. Great flavor and crusty baguette. We loved our meal.“
“Food was great. They have a weird charging thing though about extra meat (you don’t get much extra) there was a guy blasting music next to me. I couldn’t enjoy my date. As well as the server barely coming to ask if we want a refill(it’s tap water for people like me who HATE sink water) we had to like chase them down for the check. And that took forever to come. Good food and place, very homey and cozy, bad service.“
“Cash only. Busy lunch location for the area. Standard menu items that cover rice to noodles, a big menu for a small mom and pop shop. Small parking lot can get hard to get out of during rush hour. Maybe easier to park on the street instead.“
“This place is incredible. I dined here with my vegetarian son twice in five days, but I’m not a vegetarian. I didn’t miss the meat whatsoever. The food was seasoned so deliciously that it was simple to eat healthier. The texture and flavor of their “meat impostors” will trick your palate! My only criticism was the bathroom was not exactly the cleanest! Given the quality of the food, this seems like an easy fix!Vegetarian options: Nothing bland here!Parking: Several parking spotsKid-friendliness: Space for childrenWheelchair accessibility: Space for wheelchair or walker“
“Came here for late lunch and it never disappoints. Thank you for your great service broth is so tasty this my pho spot ✨⚡️You can have conversation here music is only in the background. Theres a tv so when i come alone ill just watch tv.The mister that works here is humble and super sweet. Prices are affordable. They also do takeout!“
“A real hidden gem in the South Bay where authentic Vietnamese food is scarce. This is a hole-in-the-wall so don't expect anything other than real, authentic Vietnamese food. There's not too many Vietnamese eaters around here where you can get tasty hu tieu (Vietnamese pork and seafood noodle soup), bun rieu (Vietnamese crab noodle soup), and bun bo Hue (Vietnamese spicy beef and pork noodle soup). I was also delighted after trying their bo kho (Vietnamese beef stew)! Just stop reading more yelp reviews and go try.“
“First time at this restaurant. Will be back!! The warm friendly greeting was welcoming and appreciated. I ordered the pork chop special. It was beyond delicious and plentiful. The flavors and dipping sauce was magical. Pork chops grilled to perfection. The casual atmosphere was intimate though spacious tables and a fun art wall as a focal point. It was a hot day so I was grateful for the ac keeping me cool while awaiting my food. Street parking is easy. Worth the stop if you enjoy tasty Vietnamese food prepared to perfection. Trust me! #happygirl“
“Last year during the writers strike when I was working for Uber eats during the big storm, someone ordered pho from here all the way to Altadena. Now I know why. Their pho ga is usually good. It's tender. And the vibe is just really cool. The prices are fair for Hollywood, too. Seems to be a local favorite. Never too busy but there are always orders coming in and eat in couples drifting through.“
“Great food! We had food from Greenview Thai and had it Delivered. Fast delivery Drunken noodles with chicken - very good ! Pad see ew with chicken - very good Vegetable fried rice with tofu no egg - very good. I don't eat meat or eggs and a lot of places when they make Fried rice with no egg it tastes very dry and not good. Greenview made the best fried rice without egg I have ever had! I can't wait to go back. It was so good. Sorry no pictures ! We were really hungry and ate right away Thank you for the delicious food ! We will definitely be back again and again.“
“It was completely unexpected when I stepped in.A clean, bright and spacious restaurant with a slight sense of design. If you didn’t tell me, I thought it was an online beauty coffee shop. It’s rare to get hot soup in the United States. This Vietnamese pho restaurant is my go-to soup dish these days in the United States. The enhanced flavor of the nine-story pagoda and the high-quality beef,Paired with Q-bombed rice noodles, it’s really a perfect meal! And a bowl of beef sambal pho is less than US$20.Really thank God I can only give it a thumbs up!The roasted pork neck and spring rolls are also quite good. And it’s close to the Hollywood area,Definitely the best food choice while visiting tourist attractions!“
“A wonderful little spot. A bit hard to find as it is without a sign, but it does give it a local's only allure. The interior is modern, littered with games for those inclined, and in the evening, lit quite romantically by candles. The west side is underserved by good Vietnamese food (though it's gotten better in the past few years) and of the few that dot our beach city, Camp is among the best of them. The portions are generous, the broth doesn't skimp on flavor as many Pho shops do, anise, ginger, sweet and savory are well balanced and their flavor comes out well in the broth. There is a richness that exudes through the broth that can often be lacking in places that throw their broth together quickly or fortify with premade broth flavoring. The egg rolls are prodigiously stuffed, brimming with shrimp and crab and fried in rice paper wrappers giving us an authentic central Vietnamese experience. Then there are chef Jon's fusion spins on the classics, like the ability to add bok choy or an egg to the bowl of pho. The butcher's bowl has brisket, filet, and meatballs, evoking a Thai Boat Noodle which is also a step in the right direction. Perhaps the prices are a bit higher than a lot of Pho places, but you are definitely getting your bang for your buck. There is a lot of detail and craftsmanship going on here, both in the food and the interior. I'm excited to see where Camp goes from here.“
