“Yummy lomo saltado and ceviche!“

“Got the lemon June drink and the truffle fried rice to go and both were really delicious. The rice Had pork and sausage in it and came with great side of in house soy sauce on the side as well as utensils and the lemon June drink had peach purée and it was super refreshing, a bit in the pricey side for everything but it was all super good so I’d definitely come back and try more, inside was fairly small but the decor was super nice and service was good and on point so I’d definitely recommend this spot“

“Toyitos is a jewel in the city of Downey. Best Rotisserie Chicken around. I love Chicken with fries and Salchipapas( sliced hotdogs and fries). The chicken has special peruvian flavor and peruvian sauces. Don’t forget the ice cream Lucuma flavor, and the peruvian soda Inka “

“Amazing spot to get whole chicken. I called in to catch the person on the reaction of their chicken. The little Gemini lady at the window said she rates this place a 10/10. I liked how the pictures looked and I still thought she was playing. But I was 7 minutes away so I stoped by. That whole chicken I had was so good they marinate their chicken, I’ve never tasted all those flavors before. I’m glad I stopped here today.“

“Decided to try this restaurant and there were pros and cons with my food choices. 1) Pollo a la braza was amazingly seasoned and delicious, would come come back for it 2) Salad was a good sized plate, would order again 3) plantains were not good, they were green; tasted horrible 4) the Picarones were okay, but it was my 1st time eating them. “Rikas Peruvian restaurant is like the 5th or 6th Peruvian restaurant I've been to in LA. It's interesting because it's located in Koreatown. But this little Peruvian restaurant packs a bunch. I enjoyed it a lot. It's like classic Peruvian comfort food. If you guys haven't tried their ceviche mixto, it is a must try. It's probably the best Peruvian ceviche I'd had in LA. Nice fresh raw fish, and the sourness to the juice was just about right. Their chaufa pollo, or chicken fried rice, was also another knockout. It's safe to say that this is the best fried rice I've had outside of any Asian restaurant. Haha. Their lomo saltado was also pretty solid. Great sauce, fries, and steak. In all, I would highly recommend Rikas if you are in town. It is one of the best Peruvian restaurants in the area. You'll feel so great after eating the food here. “We stumbled on this place before a Dodger game. Super yummy food with reasonable prices. A little hole in the wall but well worth the effort to park (we parked on the street where there is electric car charging. It wasn’t working so we scored a spot)

“We found this hidden gem and was blown away by the delicious flavors and options. We love Peruvian food and decided to try a new spot. Guess we lucked out! We ordered Tallarin a la huancaina con Lomo Salvador, chupe de pescado, chaufa de Pollo, Yuca frita, and vaso de maracuya“

“We had the hots for broiled chicken and it was very good, it wasn't dry, it didn't feel like the chicken had been sitting in shelf waiting for a customer to ask for chicken to have your chicken to be quickly served, the seasoning was very light while at the same time it was juicy, the one full chicken was served on a big plate served with French fries, a lettuce salad for $46 (maybe the two sparkling waters elevated the total price this high) the price itself is a downer for us not to go back. It was good, yet not a to die for finger licking type of full flavor chicken for that price.

The atmosphere was the best, we happened to arrive at a karaoke time, and since I lived in the Karaoke Capital of the world, which is Japan, I can tell you that this place is a gem when it comes to Karaoke for Spanish-speaking mature people that enjoy the 70's probably stretching all the way to the 90's romantic broken heart ballads and songs that have to do with, so if this is what you are into, you won't be disappointed, they have the best sound system and everyone was enjoying the good talented amateur singers.

They have good parking, the restrooms are clean, the staff was very cordial, amicable and with very good positive attitude, if you come to eat during Karaoke hours expect a very loud music that feels nice if the music described above is the type of music that stimulates tu corazoncito o lo que aún le queda de corazón destrozado, a mí, me encantó, quizá deba ser que mi corazón parece parrilla de asador de esos que se utilizan para asar a las brasas.“

“Stopped in for a late lunch recently and enjoyed their buffet of Peruvian delights. We have no experience with Peruvian cooking, so cannot comment on authenticity. But the food was good. Enjoyed trying different chicken dishes, beef dishes, seafood, as well as many different side dishes. The staff were working hard to keep the buffet full, replenishing often. They did a nice job. For people like us, it would have been nice to have more labels for the different dishes so we could have learned the names of the many dishes. The restaurant was clean, food was good, and they worked hard to service everyone & the buffet. Will definitely want to go back again.“

Perfectly seasoned lomo saltado with tender beef, fries soaking up that savory sauce, and fluffy rice on the side. Bright, fresh ají verde that actually has depth, not just heat and would be good on just about anything. Finished it off with plantains and a creamy Peruvian dessert that hit exactly right.

“Omg they have Peruvian food so u get delicious aji sauce with their hot sauces.

Pupusas are 10/10. Fresh hot and crunchy on outside served with flavorful sauce and cooling it down with the pickled slaw. Sorry scarfed this down so no photos of it haha.

Menudo also 10/10. Lots of squishy tripe goodness and broth was flavorful. Served with fresh handmade tortillas.

I want to come back to try their breakfast and maybe grab some fresh warm conchas after next door. I recommend this place! They have several types of hot sweet warm drinks too like atol de elote, atole de platano, atol de aba, arroz con leche. Yummmyy“

“I’ve been coming here since I can remember. At least 10 years by now. Their food is always consistent and delicious and priced well. My family’s order is a full chicken, fries, and arroz chauffa. The chicken is always tender and juicy and has great flavor, but my favorite is the arroz con chauffa. I think it’s genuinely my favorite food ever. period. I could eat it every day and not get tired of it 11/10. Now, we usually order take out because the inside is kind of small and we like to share with our friends and family (who also love it) so keep that in mind if you’re thinking of eating inside. I would recommend this place to everyone, as there’s something for everyone on the menu!“

“The food is good, the service not so much is terrible to be precise I tried ordering on the phone, I was told to wait whoever answered the phone just put the phone down I can hear them talk in the background and she was arguing with one of the customers who wanted to make a change in his order that he had not paid for yet, she claimed that she had already posted his order and could not make any changes, as this maybe understandable her demeanor was so unprofessional she was being rude, to end it here my order over the phone was never taken after waiting for 5 mim they simply hanged up, this isn’t the first time that this has happened to me. Even if you order online when you go to pick up your order they’ll ignore.“
