“One of the very few places we can have some healthy food outside… @heartland_organic_cafe_mart it’s all vegan and cooked really well. We’ve been here a few times and enjoyed everything there. We had a stir fried mushroom rice plate this time and some soup noodles. It left us feeling so full of good nutrition. Bought an odd green drink as we left and it was soooo good! It was a lovely mildly sweet dessert to end off a nutritious meal.“

“I haven’t been here for a while and had a craving for the Chilaquiles. I knew they added a new Mole salsa so I called to order that to go. I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. They were so good I’m embarrassed to say I lick the plate clean🥴. And of course the churros were amazing as usual.“

“It couldve been because I was early, dining in and the broth didn't develop a bitter after taste from over cooking, but it's been awhile since I've had good ramen. The champion ramen had a good mixture of wet and dry flavors. Chashu + seaweed had a subtle fish dry taste vibe which is new. Noodles were chewy and not clumpy mouth feel. Broth and ground pork were rich but not overly. Overall taste + texture was superb and especially warming during the winter. Also the waiter Rick is such a homeboy and service is amazing.

Last time I liked having ramen was when I was running around in an orange jumper. Hope the guys and gals stay in business.“

“I've been coming here for over ten years, and it's been consistently good with the food and service. The sushi here is very fresh and I always opt for the unagi and ikura. They have nice combination sets that are very filling. A nice selection of Japanese beers and nicely fried tempura. Overall, a good Japanese restaurant and one of the best around Walnut, CA. Get the shrimp burrito is you want to blow your name. The fish/shrimp taco is also really good here!!

Anytime I have a difficult day, I love coming here and treating myself to the shrimp burrito. They also offer grilled shrimp!

To be honest though, the consistency of how good the burrito is varies, but it varies between “yummy” to “my mind is blown this is the best thing ever”“

Additionally, I believe you can call in ahead of time to order a fried pork chop (no walk-in orders for that). Each bento comes with a small soup. Flavors are on the lighter side; if you prefer stronger flavors, you might not enjoy these bentos.“

“Yummy Yummy! We're so glad that we have a delicious XLB place close to us. They have XLB (Xiao Long Bao/steamed pork dumplings) for BOGO promotion. Yes, buy one, get one free. We ordered their juicy pork Xiao Long Bao ($12.99 for 9 pieces), and they also gave us another order for free. (so we had a total of 18 pieces for 2 orders). We also ordered braised pork. The flavor of the pork was marinated well, and the texture was perfect, soft and tender. Their cucumber with garlic was also delicious.
We like their food so much and hope they do well in Walnut.“

“The chinese pop music playing in here is pretty loud. The drinks are very large in size so it's definitely worth the purchase at $5. The noodles are pretty pricey but for the flavor and noodle quality i would say it's worth it. The noodles are perfectly chewy and absorb the broth flavors well“

It’s a good deal especially considering the entrées offered. My Family has been getting Taco Tuesday for years from this restaurant. I must say they are by FAR THE BEST IN EAST LA/Orange County.

“Good comfort food. The stone pot was delish and came out so so hot. It was still steaming at the end of the meal. I had a lot of leftover and the side dishes were fresh and tasted good.The two ladies were patient with me on all my questions about the menu and the sauces. I was expecting them to be mean since so many reviews said they were but they were really nice and I came within the hour of closing and didn't feel rushed.I ordered the stone pot galli and the galbi combo. Both were good and the meat was not over cooked. Total for both dishes came out to almost $80“
