“Rolled into this Subway in West Hill not expecting anything crazy — it’s Subway after all. But you know what? When a chain does the basics right, it deserves some love.

I grabbed a Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki 6-inch and a Celsius. Sandwich came out exactly how you want it: fresh veggies, warm bread, that sweet onion sauce pulling everything together. Simple, but satisfying.

Here’s the curveball — no restroom inside. Instead, they handed me a giant wooden stick with “Subway” written on it (classic) and sent me next door. Honestly, I braced for the worst, but the bathroom was super clean — bright, tidy, and no funky smell. Way better than I expected.

Inside the shop it’s straight-up Subway: cookie case calling your name, chips lined up, soda fountain ready to go. Service was quick, the guy behind the counter kept it moving, and the vibe was low-key. Outside, they’ve got tables under the trees if you’d rather sit in the shade and eat fresh.

Bottom line — nothing fancy, no surprises, but they hit every note I came for. Fast service, good food, clean bathroom situation. That’s a 5-star Subway stop in my book.“

“Stopped by for an afternoon sandwich. This is a nice little shop with sandwiches and Vietnamese food.
The people behind the counter are really friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering a #7 pork sandwich. It was really good. What impressed me the most and stood out was the fresh vegetables in the sandwich. They were crisp and refreshing with every bite. I really enjoyed this sandwich!

“I have been looking for quinoa all over LA. This place serves it and it is very good. The mix has just the right amount of dried sweet cranberries and a few chickpeas. It was perfect. I had a salad with tuna avocado and egg salad. I was able to sub the egg salad for tuna which was very nice of them. They gave me a fork full of a mayonnaise free tuna they had prepared on the way out which again was a great experience. This is the kind of place that you feel cares and you'd want to keep going back to. A+++“

“The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. Our 9y/o swears it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.“

“We discovered Tasty Town Café by accident when taking our baby to his pediatrician—it’s right in the same building, and the amazing smell coming from the café convinced us to give it a try. Now it’s officially become our little tradition after every appointment!

Parking is easy, the café is clean, and the staff is always so friendly. The food is honestly so good—fresh, flavorful, and made with care. We’ve tried the sandwiches, wraps, and coffee, and everything tastes gourmet, like it’s made with real, handmade love. Even my picky husband is obsessed with their food, which says a lot.

“Fantastic place with a good variety of food. I enjoyed the fat Jerry, which had delightfully tender steak, crispy chicken fingers and fries, all seasoned perfectly to compliment eat bite! I'll definitely be going back again to try something new. The fat shake #4 with oreos was probably one of the best shakes I've had in a few years, so don't forget to get your shake on while you're there. “Fantastic Bánh mì - pork and pâté Just $4.75. The baguette was perfect. Crusty outside soft in the middle. The vegetables on the sandwich were so fresh and crunchy. Mayo is included on the sandwich, but there was so little I hardly noticed. This sandwich did not need anything else. I’m going back to try the rest of them. 9-10 varieties Bánh mì. 10 inch roll. I ate half in the Am and half at lunch. Again, just $4.75!“

“My husband and I stopped by after seeing Eddie Izzard's Hamlet right down the street. I got the Damon Bruce and my husband got thr Hollywoo. “I had not been to a Subway® location in years. Had a craving and decided to stop here. Not only were all of the employees so welcoming, friendly, and in great moods, but they were amazing sandwich makers! Again, because I had not been here in years, I had some questions about available breads, new sauces, and new sandwiches. They had patience, accommodated every question or concern I had, and left me extremely satisfied with my experience. Dislocation is not the closest to my home, but I would definitely travel out of my way just to go back.“

“The only reason for not providing 5 stars is that there was a large amount of online orders to be made. There were 2 employees there and a long line inside. I fail to see why it's more important to serve a non-visible order as opposed to the person standing in front of you. The person who made my order apologized for the long wait, women though it wasn't her fault. Would I have received my order faster if I ordered it online? Probably, but that's still wrong.“

“The Subway franchises in the San Fernando Valley, CA, have bee remarkably consistent in their high level of food quality and service. This location was no different.
