“Honestly, I was skeptical looking at the menu choice. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and experiment. I played it safe, but was still highly impressed. I tried the honey lavender and coffee and love nuts, it was phenomenal highly recommend please try do not judge. The irony is the honey and lavender has notes of some tea flavor that I could not put my finger on, but it paired well with the coffee.“

“I just recently moved to the area, and was on a walk with my dog when I stumbled into this store. One of the most stunning stores, inside and out! Not to mention an awesome selection of women's, men's, and kid's wear.

Major kudos to the kind gentleman, Josh, who helped me and showed me around. His kindness was very appreciated, and not to mention the love he showed for my dog! He was so patient, kind, and ready to assist me with anything. It truly made my first visit a positive and memorable one.

Another shoutout to the individuals (I didn't get their names) that made the delicious shake at their Treats department; it was so good!

“This particular Yogurtland is a rare spot conveniently located in the coolest street in Hollywood. There is something beautiful and delicious about enjoying your frozen yogurt while watching all the interesting folks that frequent Santa Monica Blvd.

Depending on my mood, I will choose a classic tart to seasonal offerings or toasted coconut caramel. The self-serve bar is well stoked and offers a variety of flavors, textures, and colors. To me, what sets this Yogurtland apart is the freshness, the yogurt tastes like the flavor it claims to be, not like sugar in disguise.

The atmosphere is clean, bright, and cheerful. Great natural sunlight! Great for a quick stop after shopping, a mid-day treat, or a late-night catch-up with friends. The staff is always friendly and attentive.

If delicious was a flavor, it would probably be a classic Yogurtland's strawberry shortcake with mochi on top.“

“Last time I went I had the fior de latte, pistachio, hazelnut flavors which are absolutely amazing. They have so many interesting seasonal flavors like tiramisu, peach, truffle, and even rhubarb. Its amazing the amount of international presence in the ice cream. All natural ingredients, nothing artificial, everything tastes so organic, smooth, and exactly like the base flavor. And the owners are so charming and hard working. However, it is VERY expensive for ice cream, id go back everyday if 3 scoops and waffle cone wasnt almost 20 bucks. I understand it is because everything is to the highest standard and super amazing quality, unfortunately the price is just very high. So all in all, amazing treat, amazing place, with high price tag.“

“Ending our dinner at Sugarfish, the host recommended we try Van Leeuwen Ice Cream..and wow, I’m so glad we did. I got the Earl Grey and Sugar Cookie Dough, and it was absolutely delicious. The small cup was the perfect amount to end the evening.

The cashier was incredibly kind and let us sample several flavors until we found the ones we loved, which made the experience even better. Everything was so yummy 😋

“If you're walking on the sidewalk in Echo Park, and see a Hopscotch court on the ground, you might have stumbled upon one of the best ice cream shops in the area. That's exactly what happened to a couple of friends and I as we were venturing out into the wilderness on a Saturday evening. Fluffy McCloud not only has atmosphere and pizzazz, but they also pride themselves in using only whole, organic ingredients. Inside this fine establishment, you'll find a working jukebox, a coin-operated gumball machine filled with Lactaid pills (yes, they thought of EVERYTHING), a perpetual motion machine (like a Space Rail), and awesome and friendly staff that dispatch everyone quickly, yet in a professional and friendly manner. My favorite flavor was Thelma Vanilla (yes, I'm very basiq, I know lol), and I had it in a sugar wafer ice cream cone (highly recommend it over having it in a cup). Definitely a 10/10 ice cream shop in one of the most fun and interesting neighborhoods of Los Angeles.“

“I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. I’m usually a creature of habit here. I know what I’m getting before I even arrive. I’ll sample the seasonal and the oddball flavors for fun, but nine times out of ten, I end up right where the tourists do. Honey Lavender on a sugar cone. Locked in. No notes.

This visit, I was sampling as usual when a team member offered me a flavor and thoughtfully let me know it contained trace amounts of alcohol. I appreciated the heads-up. I took the sample, said “thank you, that’s fine,” then jokingly added that I was only 92 days sober and chuckled. The look on her face was of nervousness. I immediately told her it was a joke, and she carried on with assisting me.

In hindsight, I felt a little bad for putting her in that moment, but what stood out was how professionally and kindly she handled it. She stayed composed, respectful, and warm the entire time.

That kind of response says a lot, not just about her, but about the team culture at this location.

Sampling here always feels welcoming, never rushed, never awkward, even when customers deliberately make things… momentarily awkward.

“I am usually not the type to write a review, but the service that Sebastian provided was top tier. Sebastian allowed us to sample some products and provided some creative suggestions when it came to combination like a peanut butter and jelly like option when it came to gelato. He was extremely patient with me as I made chose a flavor or gelato to take home and even promoted the points system when imputing our phone number before purchasing it. His service alone is 5 stars alone and the products that were sold were extremely delicious as well, I am looking forward to trying more flavors and running into him again for more suggestions he comes across of.“

“This is THE best frozen treat place in Montrose! They have an incredible variety of flavors and one is better than the next! Today I got the Blue Honolulu and it was so refreshing and not too sweet. Of course the freshly made waffle cone was a must and it did not disappoint. I cannot believe it took us this long to try this place just because it’s in the beginning of the street, but now that we have tried it, we are never going anywhere else again!“
