“We came here for my boyfriend's bday and order Omakase at the bar. We enjoy the 9 course meal, it was filling and very good. We even did a rating on the school item we tried. The only issue we had is that when the chef will say what the item was, because it was so loud it was extremely hard to hear what he was saying. Other than that we enjoy our experience, I told them it was for my boyfriend's bday we were there and they made us a delicious mushroom meal. We enjoy our first experience there!“

“The staff are always friendly and the food is absolutely delicious.
Every time we visit L.A., this is a must-stop spot for our kids.
We’re big fans of sushi and have tried omakase in many countries, but this place keeps coming back to mind. While the setting and atmosphere might not be the most fancy, the taste alone is enough to bring us back.
In fact, sometimes the small and humble vibe feels even more comfortable, which is why it works so well for our family. I have a feeling we’ll keep coming back every time we’re in L.A!“

“Fresh, Flavorful, and Worth Every Bite!
I recently visited this sushi spot, and I was blown away by how fresh everything tasted. The fish practically melted in my mouth — you can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The rolls were beautifully presented and perfectly balanced with flavor and texture.“

“Perfect, in all the ways. Small authentic Japanese style, unassuming and yet incredible food. Watching the chef make each piece by hand for the entire restaurant was just as enjoyable as the flavors. Get the sushi and sashimi omikase if you love fresh fish.“

“Niko Niko Sushi in West Hollywood delivered an outstanding experience. The beef dumplings were perfectly seasoned with a tender bite, and the baked salmon roll was rich, flavorful, and melt in your mouth delicious. Fresh ingredients, great presentation, and friendly service made the meal even better. A must-visit spot for sushi lovers craving quality and taste!“

“Unexpected find in a quiet little plaza in West Hollywood—easily the best unagi don I’ve had in SoCal. Two styles, both incredible, but the hitsumabushi stole the show. Could’ve eaten three more bowls without hesitation. 😋“

“This is an effortlessly chic sushi restaurant.
Healthy mix of couples, friends and solo eaters.
It’s easy to sink into the dark wooded, close quarters venue with soft jazz as background noise behind the bustling of the staff.
Infatuation will tell you to order the crispy rice with spicy tuna and sushi moriawise, which a lot of folks were getting.
If you have the $200/person (after tax and tip), it’s a special omakase. The ocean trout with kelp is non-pareil, sweet and umami flavors. Worth a visit.“

“A new Japanese restaurant, “Soma Suisan,” opened summer in 2025 in West Hollywood. The mural of the dragons that I painted while ago is still there even though the restaurant is under a new ownership. I’m so grateful for that. The food is also very delicious and beautiful, so please everyone, check it out!“

“Catch LA was a restaurant I’d wanted to experience for nearly 10 years, and I finally made it happen. It lived up to every expectation I had built up in my head.
I went for a solo dinner, and from the atmosphere to the waitstaff to the food, everything was absolutely incredible. I started with the Catch Roll and the Surf & Turf Roll, followed by the Wagyu dumplings, and finished with the New York strip. I also ordered a strawberry spritz, which was absolutely massive and paired perfectly with the meal. I wanted dessert, but I honestly couldn’t move afterward.
The meal ended up being a couple hundred dollars, but you truly get what you pay for — incredible food paired with an unforgettable environment.
Whether you’re going solo, out with friends, or hosting a business dinner, this is the place to go. The noise level is moderate, so expect some energy and conversation in the room, but the food makes it more than worth it.“

“Our server Margo was magnificent! She thoroughly explained the menu, gave astute recommendations, and she was a joy to speak with because she is so personable and professional. The food was spectacular, especially the orange hamachi, all the sushi rolls, and the lava cake is out of this world!“

“Please excuse the messy photos, I was too hungry and just snapped them quickly before eating. I ordered the Seafood Yakisoba and Curry Katsu, and my friend absolutely loved it! As always, Ocean Sushi did not disappoint. We both enjoyed it so much. thumbs up! 😀“
