“I have been to this restaurant several times and am never disappointed. The food is fantastic and the service is personable and attentive. The ribs, chicken and tri tip are juicy and I requested the sauce to be all over the place because its so amazing! I have been in Sacramento a short time but when I moved here a couple years ago and found this place, I have brought everyone I know to eat here because its sooooo good! “Great deal for food made to order. we stopped by on a whim and now have a go-to place. Burger is phenomenal and the tri-tip had the right amount of smoke. so tasty. look forward to trying more entrees and meats. cool people in there as well and the atmosphere was good. really couldn't find any negative other than my lack of ability to choose just one thing not a question we will be back.“

“I visited the place for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it became a quick favorite of mine. The people at the register are super nice polite and patient. Something you won't find that many of the restaurants nowadays. The food is amazing the chicken is always tender you can cut it with a fork you don't even need a knife and the side dishes are always amazing. I highly recommend this place.“

“Limited brisket on the weekends !
The came on a weekend and had some brisket and tri-tip and some pull pork fries! Everything was delicious but the brisket was slightly dry otherwise I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere! The pulled pork is really good! The tri tip 👌 could win awards! Dont sleep on this place they have a separate bar system witch is confusing but it helps with the vibe.“

“We had a 33rd birthday party for our son, his band and groupies, party of 11. The mgt Kien/Kenny was very accommodating with our reservation, running a slide show in our private room and the lobby while our guests arrived. The seafood pancakes, desert, and spinning the prize wheel were unexpected treats. Some may think it's pricey but when I consider that for the price I would pay for a basic Rib Eye dinner elsewhere, I can have as much Rib Eye, as well as a variety of other meats, chicken, shrimp, sides as I can possibly eat, it's very reasonable. Most of our group were 1st timers, so the cultural experience of new foods, cooking at your table the way you like, made for a unique experience. Our group of 20 something yr old punk rockers had a lot of fun, the service and food were excellent. We'll be back...ps. call ahead to gauge the crowd and bring an appetite.“

“I love getting good barbecue fix at Buckhorn BBQ in downtown Sacramento on 14th Street. The location is really great because it has other business that is connected to one building and as well there is a big seating area that is shared with all the businesses.

I love getting a good tri-tip sandwich here which is always really good it is really simple and packed with a hoagie bun and I love how the bun is actually toasted and warm also stacked with lots of tri-tip which isn't too fatty and it's charred to perfection. It also comes with some au jus and grill onions and some dipping sauce too. I love how there is a barbecue sauce on the side so I can drizzle some when I need it.

I also like how there is a pastry shop that is right next to it with coffee and they have amazing coffee drinks too. I also like how bootables is next door and they have Vietnamese iced coffee along with fresh sugar cane juice and they have really nice tri-tip spring roll as well.

“By far the best KBBQ I've been to. This is my comparison to several in Sac like OZ, and in San Francisco. It is pricey but if you can eat, it's well worth it. Sides are the best here but careful not to eat too much of it haha. The Meat were of the best quality compared to the other places.“

“Let me tell you this is the best Hawaiian BBQ restaurant. The BBQ mix plate is my favorite, my husband’s the katsu. There’s a mention in the reviews about quality, as I was eating my meal I thought this is the best quality spare rib I’ve ever had. “Sonora location. Tried when first opened and few weeks ago. It was clean (new) and great service. Re-visited yesterday and totally the opposite! Counter was dirty, all food was low. It was 4 o’clock and not busy. The cook, other gentleman and waitress was very unprofessional and unsanitary! The cook, yes while wearing gloves, continued to touch dirty services and our food. At one point he had his cell phone in his hand looking at it while cooking our food. Phone back in dirty pocket, touching his hair then back to cooking our food! The conversation between the three of them were load and unprofessional. I was so ready to leave! Definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.“

“My new top favorite Korean place in Sacramento. Everything looked amazing. The wait staff were very attentive & offered great recommendations. I enjoyed the tofu seafood soup and my partner enjoyed the oxtail. A beautiful spread of banchan accompanied the meal, each plate bursting with unique flavors. We will be back for more!“

The welcome was so warm it almost felt like a family reunion, except nobody was asking me about my job or why I look tired.
