“If you love sushi and robots, Katana is it. Their sushi and robata plates are delicious (my personal favorites are the white lotus roll, fried rice, and grilled avocado). For anyone avoiding alcohol, their mocktails are also very tasty. The vibe is also great, I love the outdoor seating area.“

“I loved my dining experience there! The decor is warm and special; the service, impeccable, and the food is beautifully presented and delicious. I recommend the lobster spring rolls, the calamari and shrimp salad, and the duck fried rice. If you really like lemongrass, then try the seared scallops!“

“My girlfriend and I have been watching Jade for a year and FINALLY took a leap! I just landed back in LA from a vacay and was determined to go to Jade. My gf and I went, I resy, just decided based on timing. We ordered the DIY Hand Roll, Hamachi Crudo and Spicy Crispy Tuna. This was enough as we took food home. Every dish was fire. The fish was fresh, the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice was unique and the flavor of all the dishes hit! Our server, Soyol was so humble and truly has a servant heart, 5 stars!!!! So glad we can this night as everyone from the door to our server were perfect and the food took the exit the experience to the next level!“

“The food was excellent and quite fresh. Some of the decor was nice but I didn't care for the bright neon lights and the repetitious techno music. It took me back to the 90's club scene. If they make slight modifications to make the style and make it a bit more up to date, it will be an excellent place. Also, there was one server on the floor the entire time which made the service slow and the restaurant a bit sad. Some of the folks in the kitchen, the owner, etc.. could be at the bar or working on the floor to make the space look a bit more lively.“

“This place is a whole vibe. Purely from a food perspective, the menu here is pretty standard Chinese fare and is above average though not incredible. The dan dan noodles are spice and solid. The walnut prawns were a bit too sweet.
The prices are also on the high side.
But what you're paying for is the setting and nostalgia. I mean, we dined in a converted train car!
The inside is dark, sultry, and decadent. The service is solid though a bit scattered at times.“

“Food was fresh and delicious! It was very filling and not heavy. I appreciate the portions and presentation. The ladies were very kind and I appreciate the system of checking off everything you want. We took our own drinks and no issues there. Restaurant is on the smaller side (not many tables) but great if it's slow and/or if you want to pick up and eat at home or at a park. A little pricey but worth it!“

“Stopped by for brunch and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is stylish, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or a casual date. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they put effort into both the quality and presentation of each dish.
The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for a modern Asian fusion brunch in LA. I’d definitely come back to try more of the menu!“
“Me and my boyfriend had hookah and drinks here after dinner at yamshiro (upstairs) our server recommended this lounge so we checked it out after dinner. You have to have reservations on the weekends here as it gets pretty busy but luckily the host made something work for us I believe her name was Maria. She was beyond sweet and kind and stunning too!!! We had such a beautiful time, she gave us the best seats on the beautiful patio as we over looked the view! I highly recommend you guys go here. We will definitely be back!!!!!!!!!“

“Better ask "Why is your food So Great?" A huge fan since 1987 on Sunset. I wish you were closer...to Palm Springs... when in LA I have to stop and Eat at my favorite place, ever. “First time here and I ordered a Pad Thai from the lunch special ($12) menu. Their lunch service was attentive and the pad Thai was good. A salad come with the lunch special, and it’s very small. “Such an incredible experience! We started with the Spicy Wings, and wow… sweet, savory, crispy, with just the perfect touch of spice. The Chicken Curry Noodles (with the flying noodles 🤩) completely amazed us! The flavor was so well balanced, rich but not spicy, with a delicious tangy finish that made every bite better than the last.
The Lemongrass Pho was pure magic—beautifully aromatic, light, comforting, and packed with flavor. And to finish, the Mango Sticky Rice was simply a work of art and absolutely delicious.

“I've been to several Marugame locations, and I like this one because it is very spacious and in a great location. Service is always consistent.
That said, I'm glad that I came back to a lovely surprise. For a very short period of time, the Nikutama Curry Udon, a huge customer favorite was taken off the menu. I'm happy to say that it has returned after much customer feedback. Thank you to the CEO for listening to the uproar and for reverting the menu to include this dish again. There were enough fans of that udon bowl who were ready to choose violence, so I hope it returns permanently.
If you haven't tried the Nikutama Curry Udon, it's a must-try at least once. You will not regret it.“

“The veggie eggrolls are pretty good. I wish this place had been able to also longer, but tomorrow it becomes non-kosher as the owner has sold it. Now there is no kosher Japanese Ramen, no Bulgogi, and only Shanghai Diamon (terrible), and Kolab Farangi (merely adequate) for kosher Chinese fare and nowhere for kosher Korean food at all.“

“We recently held a memorial, celebrating the life of a loved family member at Yamashiro and the experience was nothing short of amazing! This restaurant has great food, beautiful views and a very welcoming atmosphere so they don't need to negotiate prices. However, our party was on a budget and to our very pleasant surprise, the manager worked with us to fit the evening into our limited budget. The service was outstanding and the food, well, I'm repeating myself but, again, absolutely amazing! Some establishments are willing to work within people's budgets, but the food and service level tends to reflect the lower pricing but that was NOT the case here: We were treated as if we were the only people in attendance that evening. The occasion was bitter/sweet because we lost a loved one but, by the end of the evening, we felt as if we had spent the evening at a family member's house and we will NEVER forget this evening, on many levels. Thank you, Yamashiro, for making our evening extra special for everyone in our party!“

“Beautifully designed space and fresh healthy ingredients! As a vegan I appreciate the yummy, healthy (not fried) tofu and all the veggie options! Easy pickup near my gym so will be back for sure on days when I’m too time crunched to cook! Ordered for pick up, it was ready very fast, but stayed to eat at the lovely tables by the windows.
