“We are coming here for brunch from out of town you do need a reservation to eat here but overall great service nice music I would recommend the Hong Kong French toast and the milk bread the food came out relatively fast by the way I’m 11.“
“I've been wanting to try different omakase places in the LA area for a while now, and stumbled upon Omakase by Ozen online - and I'm glad I came! Reservations were made quickly and easily via Yelp, and I love that I was able to change my reservation time without much of a hassle. My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate after I took the MCAT, so we were extremely hungry when we got here. I think this place might have had valet out front, but we opted to just find street parking in the neighborhood for a ~5 minute walk (which worked out afterwards since it let us walk off our food!). The actual restaurant is a very small and quaint place; we sat at a table instead of the bar but I thought the decorations were very cute. Service was very fast and attentive. They handed us a menu as soon as we came in, and we ordered the $130 omakase - which was a pretty good deal for the quality of the food and the whole experience. I do have to say that I was not full after the meal (so my boyfriend and I ended up getting more food afterwards at a different place), but I did enjoy my time here. Definitely worth a try if you're celebrating because of the food and the service, but I personally don't think I'd come back for the omakase.“
“Great views and yummy food. Menu is quite eclectic with an Asian and Middle Eastern twist. Our waitress Jambeth was nice and politely asked us when we sat down if we had a show at the Pantages. That was very thoughtful and much appreciated. As it was we were there for my birthday and so we were not in a rush and could enjoy the skyline and cuisine. Ordered the shrimp cocktail, chicken liver and charred carrot starter. Had Cacio & Pepe, Charmoula and Duck Confit as our main. Was given a complementary dessert as it was my birthday with a candle which was a lovely gesture. Would definitely go back for drinks on summer evening and enjoy the sunset.“
“Amazing superb customer service! I would actually hope so for this space having limited seating.Note: if you feel like trying more than one main dish split it (ex:pho) and you’ll have a solid amount of food, they are not stingy about their splitsBanh mi was delish and packed high! They get their bun from a bakery in Los Angeles.Spicy garlic tofu bites were good. Their homemade chili oil was good too!Pho was solid just wish they had a different type of noodle and didn’t cut it up so much when splitting. The noodles were so short and they were hard to grab with the chopstickMetered parking on Montana and it’s right next to the dry cleaners near the cornerVegetarian options: They have options that’s just veggies onlyParking: Paid Street meter parking“
“Everything at Chinois is perfect every time . It is timeless with Owners, Bella and all the staff. The old favorite dishes never disappoint and new flavors to explore. I have been a fan since the beginning and as locals we come regularly and for many occasions. Well Done ?“
“We really liked the food! Both got noodles, one street noodle with chicken and one pad see ew with chicken. Prices are super reasonable and the food tastes good, especially compared to some of the other options in the area. Excited to try more of their food. Chill music and good service. Nice casual option.“
“The restaurant is located on the second floor of Nerano in Beverly Hills (you have to take an elevator up to the second floor through Nerano). This gives the spot kind of a fun speakeasy feel to it. When you get out of the elevator, you walk into a beautifully designed / decorated, cozy, albeit slightly quirky space. It's not large (I think the capacity is 34). Came here for a food event, which I did a review for separately, but this experience in particular was grabbing a drink at the bar. (I did think the food was delicious though and urge folks to come here and give this place a try. I know I want to come back and try more menu items.) The bar is beautifully designed and organized. I found myself perusing and mentally cataloguing the whiskeys as I always do when I go to new restaurants. But this place looked like a place that has fun cocktails. So I ordered The George Michael. The drinks here are really interactive, and the bartenders are super enthusiastic to the point that it's infectious. My drink in particular had some bowls that floated up and you had to catch it with a paddle. Flavor wise it was like espresso martini with a peanut butter twist to it. All in all this place is a great place to grab drinks and/or food. Lots of fun. There's a lot of street parking nearby, but it could get challenging especially during the weekends. I came in the middle of the week and was able to find parking about a block away.“
“This place from the moment you walk in the front door is beyond amazing! They’ve done an amazing job of setting one heck of secluded Tulum vibe but while being in the thick of it all. No detail was left out from the lush landscaping and impeccable design throughout to the delicious food and cocktail menu topped off with incredible service. We had the Crispy Rice with yellowtail and shishito peppers for starters both were some of the best we’ve had. We also had the sun fire roll and short ribs and all I can say is yum! You won’t be disappointed with any of the food here. The margaritas we had were “chefs kiss”! Highly recommend!!“
“2nd time here and it’s off the charts!Love the Asian fusion food - don’t miss these two items, green papaya salad and miso pork jowl! Everything is delicious - literally. The atmosphere is incredible, fun colors, low lighting and jungle animals lurking. Fun and funky spot with sophisticated flavors make Piccalilli a great place to check out!“
“I love shabu and have been to "Bon Shabu" twice already. This is my favorite shabu restaurant when in LA. I say it is a "restaurant" because the attentive, friendly service, quality of food, decor and cleanliness are all five big stars! The selection of meat is very high quality including wagyu, and the vegetables and seafood are all very fresh. Beware of the appetizers as they all taste good. They have delicious Korean side menu; japchae, spicy pork, bulgogi, dukkbokki, dumplings, calamari, fried chicken, dukkbokkii, spicy crab, spring rolls, etc. and dessert! all time favorite shabu spot!“
“This restaurant is affiliated with several sushi restaurants in Los Angeles and Westwood. It is located on the 2F of the H Mart Madong Plaza, and they validate parking. It has only been open for a month, and it appears to be building up a following. Madong Plaza is also the home to several restaurants, Daiso Japan, Cosmetic World, Paris Baguette. It would be worth your while to enjoy a meal at California Rock N Sushi and do you shopping. The pictures don't do justice to the presentation and quality of the seafood they serve here. I have eaten sushi in Japan, Seattle, and Hawaii. The freshness of their seafood and presentation are unique and unmatched. The sushi chefs are artists, who are clearly experienced and can create works of art. They carry an extensive menu of hand rolls, cut rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and specialties. We had the Red Dragon and Lemon Rolls cut style, chirashi bowl, teppanyaki, and ama ebi. (If they have ama ebi on the menu, do not hesitate to order it.) From seating to the end of our meal, service was top notch. Although this restaurant is located in Koreatown, sushi is universal. I highly recommend that you take the time to visit this restaurant and enjoy your meal here. I would rate this 6 stars if Yelp allowed me to.“
“Incredible food! Wonderful welcoming service and food was quickly delivered. Chic and fun atmosphere, and very clean. Everything was so good, but make sure to also ask for the garlic chili oil and chili powder if you want to kick up the spicy and garlic flavor a notch! I loved the basil flavor of the spicy fried rice, and the sweet and spicy flavor of the spicy garlic noodles! Everything is vegan but you would never guess it based on how freaking yummy everything is!“
“I had the pleasure of dining at Blasteran with five of my vegetarian friends last week, and we were all blown away by the incredible food and atmosphere. The classic veggie-forward American menu with some Indonesian dishes was absolutely delicious, and the unfussy setting was just perfect for a casual night out.As a vegetarian myself, I always appreciate when restaurants go above and beyond to cater to our dietary needs, and Blasteran definitely did not disappoint. From the flavorful vegetable skewers to the perfectly cooked tempeh, every dish was bursting with flavor and packed with fresh, wholesome ingredients. The service was also exceptional - our waiter was attentive and friendly, and made sure our experience was nothing short of perfect. Overall, I highly recommend Blasteran to anyone looking for a delicious vegetarian meal in a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Thank you for the wonderful evening!Best regards,George AntonP.S. “A little gem! They have Korean and Japanese styled rice bowls here. Many great options with reasonable prices and serving sizes especially for the area. We got the tuna tataki bowl and chicken karaage bowl. The person handling orders was really great and said the tuna tataki was their favorite and even gave helpful directions on how to best enjoy the rice bowl with the sauce! Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Highly recommend.“
“It's a straightforward all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ joint with quick service and seating. While it may not be top-tier, it's definitely a fun experience if you're not too particular. However, parking is scarce and somewhat sketchy. I witnessed a couple of guys devouring food as if they were competing champions, and the server didn't seem to mind if they cleaned out the entire place.“
“We came here for my bday 2 years ago and it was one of the best meals Ive eaten in LA. Last night we returned with a couple who are business associates. I have to say I rarely give 5 stars but this was an exceptional meal. We had crispy tuna app, mushroom tempura, broccolini in chili sauce, the special whole fish with a sizzling sauce poured on at the table, flat noodles schewan style with short ribs, the crab fried rice. Everything was exceptional. The service was excellent and very attentive. thank you for an excellent experience.“
“Super sweet owners and incredibly fresh sashimi. I got the 19 piece platter and was very happy with my meal. This place is a gem. When I went in, I noticed that the owners greeted everyone extremely warmly and had a bunch of regulars coming back. The auntie working the front of the house made me feel like I’m family eating at her house ^____^Definitely give this place a try!!!“
“BEST pad see ewe I've had in LA! I'm quite picky when it comes to Thai food. I'm one for authenticity when it comes to food in general. So I like to learn the history & stories behind the food, and the people the food represents. Very friendly & welcoming service. Bright, simple, and clean ambience. The fried mango-sticky rice rolls are an excellent and a quite ingenious version of the typical mango & sticky rice dessert! I also appreciated the check out process with their handheld device & they take Apple Pay. From the beginning as I entered I felt welcomed, again throughout the service was like being waited on by family, all smiles; and to the end of the meal, bows and smiles! 3 suggestions though: 1. The Thai tea could have been done with little less milk and more tea, and maybe offer other milk options like almond or soy milk, but it was still very flavorful and smooth! 2. I would like to see an upgrade in the glassware used for drinks like the Thai tea, hopefully in the near future. 3. Need better professional pictures up on Yelp. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical in trying this restaurant as I saw there were only 94 other reviews, yet it all averaged 5 stars! So I always make a point to try restaurants that possibly may have been overlooked or underrated. This place is definitely an authentic gem one all would enjoy! They actually deserve 10 stars I'll definitely be back again ;)“
“OMG, everything there - just perfect! There wasn't a single thing here that I didn't like. From the pizza, to two different pasta dishes, to all of the sushi, slider, and bang bang broccoli - it's mouthwatering! Loved the dragon roll, crispy rice, and basically anything with unagi is absolutely fantastic. Wasn't super thrilled with the orange wine (I think that's what it was?) but the house white was good! This place is a total vibe, for a sexy little vegan dinner date night! Service is incredible, everyone is nice and attentive, and quick with delivery and clearing out plates. Music selection was great. Overall, loved loved loved it! Recommend to everyone and a place I'll definitely be coming back to!“
“CUTEEEE, I've heard of U Dessert Story in SF and was excited to hear they were opening in Santa Monica along a brunch spot! The location is beautiful and interior is so fun for brunch. The wait has been popping off so I'd recommend joining the waitlist early! I had the breakfast plate with their millionaire bacon and the scone was my absolute favorite- literally the best scone I've had lol!!!“
“On the edge of Beverly Hills, this is a delicious find. A storefront with four chairs inside and some tables outside, they do a bunch of take-out.The young woman at the counter was pleasant and helpful.I chose the bulgogi tacos which were delicious. The beef was seasoned and fresh, melt in your mouth paired with a spicy dip and lime wedges. I have to be careful with hot peppers (allergies), but my wife said it was the kind of dip that you didn't get the heat at first, but even when, not too hot.My wife had the salmon bowl. A perfectly grilled piece of salmon paired with rice, avocado, along with pickled onions and cucumber. There was an accompanying small dish of a sweet liquid. Maybe a coconut milk base, it tamed any heat. A winner.“
“It's a comfortable place where you can enjoy beer and various snacks with friends.Parking is not easy on Friday nights. However, they provide validation, so parking is available at a low price. The owner is friendly, and if you come before busy hours, you'll receive excellent service.“
“Came here to try out their five course Valentine's Day dinner and it was AMAZING! The food is made with love. Every dish was neatly made like it was a work of art. The drinks were also out of this world. I had the rack of lamb and it was cooked to perfection. The service was probably one of the best experiences of my life because the atmosphere was so welcoming and friendly. I'd love to come back here next year and experience the food all over again!“
“Tapizon Restaurant offers a delicious fusion of flavors, combining traditional dishes with innovative touches. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff are attentive. From the signature tapas to the mouth-watering main courses, each dish is expertly crafted and delicious. The menu caters to a range of dietary preferences, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. The wine selection perfectly complements the menu, enhancing the gastronomic experience. Chef Leo is truly exceptional, showing his talent and creativity in each dish. Whether you are looking for a romantic dinner or a casual meal with friends, the Tapizon Restaurant, led by Chef Leo, will certainly impress.“
“Arrived less than an hour before closing but they weren’t busy so they invited our party of 5 inside after seeing our hesitancy outside the front door. I wish I got their names but they were incredibly hospitable, helping us figure out how to best enjoy the dishes we ordered (we’re still learning about Korean cuisine) and were really accommodating. And everything was amazing!! We got the ox bone soup with beef brisket, mul naeng-myon (cold noodles with beef and pickled radish), haemul nok-du jeon (korean pancake with squid and shrimp and clam), and the spicy galbi-jjim (braised beef short ribs) which was our favorite.Highly highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!“
“I stopped by with friends it was a pretty solid spot for pho and other delicious Vietnamese menu items.I had the avocado drink, spicy fried soft shell crab, “Lady’s on fire” Spicy Lo Mein Noodles, beef combo pho & braised marinated pork belly with egg & rice. The avocado drink was good but too much ice overall that you only get a small few gulps of the drink. The soft shell crab appetizer was phenomenal and my favorite dish of the bunch. Perfect flavor and cooked just right. The lady on fire was an excellent noodle dish. Flavor and spice was on point and it was cooked perfectly. The beef combo pho was also good, the meats were great and the broth was pretty good. A descent bowl of pho.The braised pork belly was good but I made the mistake of thinking it was going to be fried. It was still a solid dish, the sauce was delicious and sweet. The pork was very tender and flavorful.Customer service is great but sometimes it can get crowded and there might be some delays due to only a few working, but still a great dining experience.I’d definitely come back to this spot again to try their other menu items. Parking is valet only or street parking if available.“
“I lived in Hawaii 38 years.Sure missed that place it was great!Only thing is my take out box of bakery goods were not what I asked for .I was anxious to try guava cake it was missing. But everything was deliciousCheck your box they are very busy.“
“The food was absolutely amazing! Everyone at the party loved the food. The meat was super Tender and juicy. All the salads and bread was delicious. I’m so impressed with their service. I wish I took pictures of the presentation before we ate all the food.“
“Asian option if you like a good bowl of curry rice with crispy chicken and onion like I had! ? You have more options, but it is an economical and good option in downtown Los Angeles! ?️Vegetarian options: Vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: No problemWheelchair accessibility: Accessible“
“Best sushi house on this side of heaven and what tops that just a little secret the parking is free, no signs, no validation to park, Free! A trip for the free parking on Sunset on a Friday night brought a tear to my eye. Sushi ended up being the bonus.“
“So damn good. Great after a walk around the Silverlake reservoir. We were able to walk in and get a table in their backyard seating without any reservation on a Thursday evening.Food was delicious although could be a bit spicier, loved the atmosphere out back.“
“My son took me to this place while I was visiting LA, and I absolutely loved the ambience, the food quality and the friendly staff. Dishes served were freshly made and the taste was authentic. I highly recommend this place to everyone, its an experience.“
“Unique menu with lots of variety, wonderful staff, and sweet atmosphere. You find a table and the order at the counter to have dishes brought to you. The staff is very accommodating for vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free preferences. Some items are marked as such and you can ask for modifications of most dishes when you order. Loved all the drink options, with the choice of adding boba and swapping for non-dairy milk too. I found free street parking on Lucerne. Looking forward to returning.Vegetarian options: Very accommodating for vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free preferences. “Oh my god. I don't normally leave reviews but I just ordered delivery from here and I had to. This is the best Thai food I've had in LA. Period. I got the Pad See Ew (See You Again, for sure), Basil Crispy Chicken Wings and Thai Iced Tea. SO GOOD. The Pad See Ew is so flavor packed. The beef and noodles are cooked to perfection, I LOVE the way the tofu is cooked. I am so picky about tofu, this is perfectly fried and sized, crispy on the outside and not dry on the inside. AMAZING. I LOVE LOVE LOVE vinegar chili and am soooooooo happy these came with the dish on the side, definitely ordering extra next time! The chicken wings are SO crispy and flavorful. Holy cow. Thai iced tea not too sweet or too milky, literally perfect. Compliments to the chef!!! I've tried every Thai place and had given up on finding anything that is worth ordering. I am SO glad I took a shot. I can finally order Thai weekly again :') ORDER FROM HERE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! I can't wait to try everything on the menu. You can tell the chef cares about every dish that's prepared, high quality and not just thrown together. So happy!!!“
“If you're looking for a laid-back atmosphere, a variety of beer options, and some good food; I recommend going here. There are a lot of tvs throughout, playing different sport games. You definitely get to see the eclectic nature of the koreatown community. The staff also reflects a relaxed attitude but they're also attentive when it comes to refills or new orders. I'm not a fan of their cocktails, but some food suggestions are their KFC, Kimchi Fried Rice Plate, and their wings! And then most people, I've gone with, enjoy the different beer options.“
“Amazing delicious food and the best customer service!! The food has so much flavor and you can tell it's made fresh when you order it. I've gotten noodles and sandwiches here and everything is always so good. The drinks are delicious as well. The owner is hands down the best owner ever, such a genuine and kind soul. We will absolutely be back again and again!“
“My wife and I had an amazing dinner experience at Chin Chin! The host greeted us warmly and immediately. We ordered the new Garlic Chili Crisp wontons and they were so delectable. The broth the wontons came in was delicious and had the right amount of spice, we couldn't resist finish it like a soup. My wife and I decided to share 3 entrees. The Crispy Spicy honey chicken, General Tso's chicken, and Vegetable Fried Rice. All were top notch! The highlight was the General Tso's chicken recommended by our fantastic server, Omar.Omar's hospitality was grade A! The manager also came by to check how we were doing and made sure our dining experience was going well. Outstanding service by all. Great establishment and the cherry on top was that there was easy parking access off of the busy sunset strip. We will be returning very soon. Five Stars!!!“
“The line moves quickly, the people who work there are welcoming, and the food is tasty and priced reasonably.I always get kitsune udon with an onsen egg and a side of tamago tempura and potato croquette, and I’ve never been disappointed or dissatisfied.“
“Got a Jalapeno Cheddar Chicken, Original (White) with Potato & sugar, plus a Churro Donut & a soda. Let me start with the donut because it was really good. It was chewy inside and not overly sweet like most donuts, the fine grain sugar on top was absolutely delicious. The hot dog was really good too. Very interesting mix of flavors, I normally don't like sugar on meat but they balance it out pretty well to where it's just a little hint of it. Everything was cooked really well nice and hot, savory with a hint of sweet Small place located in the 2 floor plaza, with extra parking downstairs. Service was ok, it was quiet when i went. It's pretty affordable for the portions. Located in a 2 floor plaza with underground parking“
“We've been lucky enough to dine at providence, vespertine and meteora and they're really the best comparison for the food and service. The evening was impeccable. Mysteriously, the place was almost empty on a Tuesday—for foodies who want a quietly luxurious dinner and some of the best cocktails around in a beautiful space, snag a Tuesday spot and treat yourself before this place catches on. Sorry if I sound exaggerated; still on a bit of a high from a wonderful evening.“
“This is my new go-to spot when flying in and out of LAX airport. The poke was high-quality and fresh with premium fish cuts. What really stood out was the customer service/the owners - they were warm, kind, and took the time to share with us about their food. You could tell that they are passionate about their business and customer care. There were long-time regulars there, and they just gained a new one ?.“
“The duck is incredible!!! Period! My food was so good that I totally forgot to take a picture of my plate before I started eating ? I loved it and will go back! Wrist check, I am wearing the Seiko Presage Prestige SARX045 JDM release on the Hirsch Liberty leather strap.“
“Today was our first time here. Based on recent reviews we came here. The exterior kind of throws you off, but the service, menu simplicity, price, AND Food portions was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!DEFINITELY COMING BACK! Give them a chance and make a visit to get some fresh made to order food!“
“The good : I love how they went for a chic yet street food aesthetic for their restaurant. I think it really emulates Chinese food which definitely plays into the experience of eating here. The portions and platings were very good and we were able to try many dishes. With that said I think the food was just okay. The Mid : Maybe it's because I am Chinese so I've tasted better Chinese food before so that's why I wasn't super impressed. I will say tho I really liked the fried rice because they added the Chinese sausage to it which makes the taste really authentic keke. There definitely is better and Chinese food in the LA area because they definitely are a western twist. but I do think the ambiance makes up for the lack of an oomph factor in the flavors and I also wish they cut back on the oil a little.“
“after a photo shoot in UCLA, a friend recommended us to get our grub at Ramenya in Sawtelle. Had to park on a near street, and had to do a little walk to the shop. wait time is bearable. got a table for four and we were greeted by a welcoming host. we were recommended to get tantan ramen. however, we got more than that-we got daikon salad, shrimp fried rice, and 2 ramens. my favorite was the fried rice-i could eat those everyday. tantan ramen is delicious too. all in all, it was a great visit and a great meal. there will be a next time once we ever get lost in los angeles area.“
“I found this taco truck online a few months ago and I was really excited to check it out because I was in the area. I got the world famous short rib tacos and burrito, along with the Sriracha bar. I loved the tacos and burrito! The galbi flavors really came through. I was curious about the Sriracha bar though. I ordered it because it was unique and I didn't know what to expect. It turned out to be a rice crispie bar with caramel filling dipped in chocolate. I didn't taste any Sriracha until my last 3 or 4 bites. If the Sriracha was more thoroughly mixed throughout the bar, I would have enjoyed it much more.“
“Oi has been a local favorite for us for a while now! It’s so nice to have yummy Filipino food nearby— I’ve tried several of the bowls and have loved all of them.Today I went in and ordered food to go, and then stopped by the boba place next door while waiting for my food. I didn’t even mention where I was going, but a few minutes later someone from Oi peeked their head in to see if I was there and brought me my food. Needless to stay, the staff goes above and beyond. I’d had a tough morning and that little thoughtful act really brightened my day.“
“One of the best AYCE Kbbq I've tried in LA! The meats that we've tried here were incredibly fresh! I highly recommend their Ribeye Steak, Wagyu Beef Belly, and Giant Beef Rib. The Ribeye Steak was so juicy and tender. It's comparable to Kbbq spots that aren't AYCE. I love the other dishes that they offer as well, especially the dynamite scallops and honey glazed sweet potatoes. Aside from their amazing food options, they also have a lovely and spacious outdoor patio.“
“Meizhou Dongpo isn't quite what it used to be when it first opened years ago in terms of the quality of the dishes. It's still a very nice place to sit and take a break from strolling through the mall, but it's now best to stick to a few of their most popular dishes while steering clear of the rest. For many dishes, prices have gone up quite a lot while not preserving the quality of the dishes. The serrano pepper beef and crispy roast duck are still quite good and worth a visit. Other items that used to be amazing are no longer so, like the fried rice, which now amounts to very little other than small amounts of egg and cabbage in a large serving of oily rice.“
“You can get a full plate with an entree and sides that will fill you up. They have multiple great options depending on if you like beef or chicken. I really enjoyed the not so fried rice and tilapia but they discontinued both. The spring rolls are FANTASTIC. The wings are really TASTY. The GYOZA's are soooo good. They are high quality like at a fine oriental restaurant. No kidding... they are that good. Dining room is OK. Prices are reasonable. Staff efficient and quick service!“
