“We were there a couple days ago for a work function. We did the wine and chocolate pairing and Micah was an absolute gem. He was very funny and informative and we all really had the most amazing time there. I brought my little dog in and Micah was so accommodating, brought him a little blanket and treats. The space is really cute and comfortable and I'll definitely be back to try their bread and butter tasting.“
“I'm not a wine lounge sort of person. However, Windsor,CA has become rather inviting with some of their new shopping options. Among those options is the Baldessari Wine Bar. Easy parking, easy walk in, and a welcoming shop . Refined, beautifully decorated, comfortable for everyone. I first went in because one of my kindergarten students works there. That was a long time ago...David is a master of making people feel comfortable, welcome, and important. So I joined the wine club after tasting on my first visit. Wow! This is right up my alley! I get invited to special events, I get to choose wines and bubbles, they offer plates that are great for accompanying wines. Everyone who comes in is welcomed warmly, wether they stay and buy or not. I 've passed some important afternoons enjoying wine, a burrata board, and enjoying the company of folks who happen to come in.“
“First of all, Francis and Dennis are the best! We see them pretty much every time we come in on Fridays. A group of us like to head over on Friday evenings after a workout and we love seeing their friendly faces. Friday is typically tap takeover as well so we like to go and win prizes while enjoying the takeover beers. There is always something for everyone in our group both beverage and food-wise. You can always tell when it was a harder workout based on how much food we order and how many beers we cycle through. They have always been super accommodating when we have a large group show up or when it is just a couple of us. There has never been a difference in service and to me, that is incredible. Whether you need a quick drink or a snack before heading off somewhere else in the town green, this is worth a visit.“
“Wood fire pizzas are finger-licking good. The crust was excellent. I could not stop eating. Nice, newly renovated or newly opened location (I am not from the area so I’m not sure). We tried a couple of pizzas and the house salad and everything was delicious.“
“Finally, Sebastopol has a late-night go to spot for fantastic food and great atmosphere! This is an authentic Georgian experience, complete with Georgian wines. We love the comfort food here. Very fresh and innovative! The owner is quite attentive and accommodating. I would give it 5+ stars, but the wine list is somewhat limited, primarily offering Georgian wines, which are nice but I would prefer to have some local wine to choose from as well.? “We had a great time and great food at Baci Cafe and Wine bar. The menu is extensive so we had a hard time narrowing down our choices. However, we picked this place because of the sheer amount of choice as I didn't know what we would be in the mood for when I made the reservation several weeks in advance. I had the veal osso bucco and it was outstanding. My husband had the short ribs and they were also very good; but I think the osso bucco was better. Both were served with a creamy polenta that was really good. My husband is not a fan of polenta, he prefers mashed potatoes, but even he was impressed with this polenta. Our waitress was great, very friendly and good at helping us narrow in on our dinner choices.“
“Good food, they had the ground meat so it's a bit different. The plate was filled with meat, in fact i was hoping for a bit more of the noodles. Whatever was going on with the meat, it was a bit too sweet. So an overpopulation of meat made the dish a bit much. They had chillies at the table, but microscopic ones. Not enought to balance out the food. The dish was prepared by a culinary artist, just like in the shows. It was nice, but not what i was looking for.“

“During a business trip to Rohnert Park, we were fortunate enough to happen upon this gem! A menu with the right amount of variety. The food was absolutely delicious. The Walter Hansel Cuvee Alyce Chardonnay was breathtaking. I have never had better. The service was incredible. They had a small staff working to serve, but as soon as we finished a course, they were removing the dishes and delivering the next course, which was perfectly prepared. The restaurant is intimate, warm and inviting. It was very clear the entire staff enjoyed what they were doing and were proud of their work, as they should be! We look forward to the next opportunity to return, for sure. The only disappointing thing is that we live too far away to come here often.“
“Portalupi offers a number of wines that diverge from most of what you'll find at the majority of wineries in northern Sonoma County. Starting with a Barbera-based sparkler (a little drier, please). After wading through a couple of decent dry whites (Arneis, Vermentino), and skipping some of the lighter reds, we moved on to some of the bolder offerings: Barbera, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo-- all winners. Dolinsek Pinot was a nice surprise; a departure from the rest of the (Italian) lineup. The host of our group of six was friendly, informative and engaging, with just the right balance between taking us through the flight and giving us space to socialize among ourselves and discuss the wines“

Tons of options to choose from, they had a winemaker doing pours of their new selection , and the staff is top notch.Best of all you can get food delivered from the local restaurants. We loved the vibe here, and it used to be a dog friendly place.Definitely come with friends to hangout, or just read a book. It’s a fantastic wine and food experience.“

Heard the live music from the street which drew our attention into this establishment. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the wine (Pinot and Sparkling) was. “This is a true gem in the Barlow. Oyster has a wonderful atmosphere - great for a family dinner or a get together with friends. The food is fantastic - strongly recommend the duck fat fries, the burger, the wedge salad, the calamari and the octopus. Raw oysters did not disappoint either. We will definitely be back!“

I have noticed Alpha Omega's tasting room opening just off the square and decided we should duck in to see if it would meet our needs. It did and was wonderful. Service was top notch. Samantha catered to our needs and informed us of what was in our glass while leaving room for us to visit and enjoy everything. My family grows a few acres of Grenache here in Sonoma county and I was pleased to taste Alpha Omega's Grenache. I purchased a bottle and will share it at my family's next get together. A great place to make some wonderful memories.“

Very welcomed addition to the community and supports/stocks a lot of local, smaller, winemakers in Sonoma county I had never even heard of. From the moment you step in the décor feels welcoming and artisinal. Walls of wine create a canvas that would make even Matisse proud. The wine itself is like a mural of cultures - highlighting local producers in Sebastopol making avant-garde whites, to more non-traditional New Zealand umami-driven pinots, to Georgian funk fests. Punchdown imports it all and offers it here to share by the taste, glass and bottle. The key here is in the variety, yet the true life of Punchdown is in the unpretentious staff and afforable price points, allowing customers to indulge in such stimulating, global treats.“

Their 1000 mile Pinot Noir tasting is fantastic ~ start with their Oregon vineyards & end with their Santa Barbara vineyards. They also have a Pinot blend tasting. Thanks to Tonya, lots of knowledge, information & opinion ~ all added to a nice visit & excellent wine. For having only Pinot Noir, the differences in side by side tasting is fantastic.“
