“My recommendation is to come here if you're looking to stock up on goodies for a party, especially during the summer. Things like Piñatas, Ice Cream, Block of Ice (for shaved ice and candy. For things like cups, straws, plates you could find better deals at other big stores. It's more about what you won't find in those places that you can find at Northridge Ice Cream.

During my visit I picked up a big block of ice for $10, big piñata for 20 and some candy.

Overall, this place serves local vendors with ice cream, snacks and anything in between. I visited this place out of curiosity, but ended up leaving with bags of imported candy. A good half of it you can find in big supermarkets like Vallarta, but not all. The variety is good and organization methods. The folks there were very friendly and helpful. It felt like they were happy to have visitors in, but maybe you're just a happy person if you sell ice cream all day.“

“The staff greeted us right away and offered plenty of samples. I felt encouraged to find the right flavor for me. Highly recommend the stracciatella. It was the right amount of creamy sweetness with chocolate. I didn't feel over loaded with sugar like a regular ice cream store. Well definitely visit again.“

“Julian delivered outstanding customer service during an incredibly busy rush at Cold Stone. Despite a full establishment and a steady stream of customers continuing to come in, he remained completely focused on giving every single person an excellent experience. He worked quickly without ever rushing, making sure each order was done right the first time.

Even with a long line, Julian took his time at the register to ensure accuracy, double-checking orders and even asking if we had a punch card to use, something that could easily be overlooked when working solo under pressure. His professionalism, attention to detail, and calm demeanor stood out and made the experience enjoyable for everyone waiting.

I honestly couldn’t help but feel for him being on his own-he definitely could have used some support but he handled it all with efficiency and a positive attitude.

“I took my wife to this La Michoacana location tonight because we were in the area and she wanted ice cream. She decided to get the paletas de leche which is the Mexican French Vanilla popsicles. She really liked the ice cream and the flavor. Before we left she decided she wanted the agua fresca smoothie so I brought it for her. We had a great time here and the customer service was great.“

“So our journey begins with a hot day. A few degrees cooler than the SF valley, but still pretty hot. As we venture through quite a bit, we were looking for a place to cool-off. The first suggestion in the car was ICE CREAM!!!! The vote was unanimous. This presented a few decisions to be made. We can go to the valley, and enjoy Cold Stone or settle for something else. Clearly it was too far. So our next decision was to find one here in Simi Valley. At this point we find ourselves with something that happens in many food chains. We tend to find the greatest link that is above our set standards. When we think those standards are met by the rest of the links, we some how find the weakest link. This typically ruins the image of the whole food chain, or just keeps us going to one. That stereotype has been debunked by Cold Stone. Benefit of the doubt, maybe not all….maybe. In my scorecard Cold Stone is two for two. Making this location the treat location away from home.

In my snapshot when we came in we missed the masses by a minute or so. Like all other families had the same Idea at the same time(Almost). Which it was comforting to see this location filled up quick. The almost all male crew and one female were pretty fast in working together to get our-oh-so yummy treats in our hands. I have been on a chocolate trip lately, and the Germanchocolatekake was a nice way to give farewell to the evening sundown and welcome to the Sunday night.

As we walked outside, they have a patio with a waterfall fountain. Unique in style the area was serene. The only issue was that the table were dirty. As other customers of the shopping center made messes. Unfortunately I don’t think this area is observed by any one business. Luckily, we keep Clorox wipes. The table got cleaned, and there was the good deed for the day. Clearly this was an issue on most of the tables. Another family also enjoyed a Cold Stone treat. So we offered Clorox wipes to them as well. The down side was that I got pictures of the Ice cream when it was done. I think it makes a good reason to go, and enjoy your own cone, or cup of joy for yourself.“

“Love this place, my go to for when I want a cold sweet treat, they have a lot of toppings to choose from, I love their popping boba, the workers are nice, greet you when you enter. You can ask for free sample cups if you want to try a flavor before adding it to your cup.“

“Great mom and pop place for anything juices, shaved ice , ice cream and hot chocolate!I got a Lulo juice,(not pictured) which is a subtle citrus yet earthy tea like shake that was right up my alley. I don't like overbearing sweetness. And since this shops main ingredients are 100% natural. It's perfect for my taste.I also got a shaved ice lemonade (pictured) which was perfect. I can taste the whole lemon essence with a perfect amount of sweetness!My brother got a hot chocolate (pictured) And it was phenomenal. A slightly gritty drink but all cocoa chocolate. Almost like a abuelitas chocolate mix. But way less sweet and more coco forward. Highly highly recommend.Overall if I lived near and frequented the mall I'd always get something from here. Today, however, I was looking for some lollipops to give as gifts.

This review isn’t about an extensive candy selection. My review isn’t even about the ice cream that is the primary product at this business.

This review is for the young lady that helped me find what I was looking for—Hasina.

After explaining what I was looking for, Hasina did everything she could to help me find something I’d like.

The first 2-3 options didn’t excite me. I was ready to leave, but then Hasina suggested some options at the front counter.

At first, I wasn’t excited that they weren’t exactly what I had in mind. The reason I gave them a second thought, was because I saw how sad Hasina looked when she thought she had failed to help me find something I’d like.

In the end, I left with two lollipops—a long swirly one, and a rock candy sucker. Both were actually better than what I had in mind.

“Honestly, I had such a great experience at Baskin Robbins. I went in for my birthday scoop, and the staff treated me with so much patience and kindness that I actually felt a little less lonely. The cashier was super cool and flexible about my ice cream choices, and the woman making the cones was so thoughtful and gentle with everything she did.
