“Wonderful experience at JINYA Ramen Bar in Topanga! My daughter and I came for our usual quick lunch and were seated at the ramen bar. Gaby made our visit especially enjoyable — she was so warm, attentive, polite, and professional.

What impressed me most was when I accidentally wrapped my aligners in a napkin and they were thrown away. I asked if they could be found, not really expecting it, but Gaby went above and beyond, found them, and brought them back to me! I was truly so grateful.

“Delicious ramen with rich black soup that tastes so authentic it brought me back to Japan (in the future time lol) Paired perfectly with a cold Sapporo beer — pure comfort. Amazing and purposeful service by Sarah, Kate, and Mona. Friendly, heartwarming, and attentive — they truly made the experience feel special. They all deserve a holiday pay raise and recognition for their great work. The owner/chef Toshiro adds a level of authenticity that makes the meal feel real, warm, and crafted with care. “Haven’t been here in a while and saw that they were closed before I came and now they’re open. I tried their soft opening and wow, what a difference the Ramen is now. They have a Japanese chef now as well. It’s the same good taste, but it’s on another level especially the pork they’re making it fresh now they told me because it’s very big difference and they’re gonna do that daily. Honestly, if it’s this tasty again and they keep doing it like this I’m gonna come back more often. Also order the Giza that was even better than before, but the girls was pretty good before but it just even better now. The curry rice I also got that tasted exactly the same so no changes there. Definitely try the pork and see for yourself you’re gonna be shocked how good it’s now.“

Extremely disappointed to see an ai generated image in the advertising outside. It doesn’t look like food, is gross and shows the owners are happy to cut corners where they can instead of taking a real photo of the food they make, or (even better) hiring a local photographer to hell them. A photo of a roll isn’t that hard to take, but seeing a gross ai picture is what will stop me from coming here again. I don’t want to find out what other corners the owners cut if a single photo for their lunch stand is a task too hard for them. Big yikes, Kanpai.“

“Love the vibes. Comfortable stylish atmosphere. Food was yummy! Delicious had birria, spicy chili, diablo ramen and beef and broccoli with rice. All entrees were hot and fresh tasty! Appetizers: had Wings a little too salty but the spicy edamame’s were good tangy spicy chili vibe was just right. We recommend:)“

“We were greeted by Aaron as soon as we walked in and seated right away. I ordered the Level 3 ramen with gyoza, and once again, this place did not disappoint. The ramen was flavorful, comforting, and had the perfect amount of spice.
My daughter wasn’t feeling well and wanted something warm, so we ordered the signature ramen broth with noodles for her. After eating it, she said she instantly felt better.
We’ve been coming here for years because the food is consistently delicious and the service is always welcoming. We’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!“

“This place has the absolute BEST Oyakodon and curry. I know people focus on the ramen but for real, it’s the closest we’ve gotten to food in japan since we got back from our trip. INCREDIBLE and they have thai tea and milk tea that’s delicious!!“

“My kids were raving about this place and they finally invited me to try this location. So naturally, I ordered their best items on the menu. We ordered the chicken pieces as an appetizer and we all chose a bowl of ramen. I ordered the beef broth truffle soup with an extra side of pork belly. The appetizer and the special sauce was delicious and the Ramen was amazing. As a big fan of Phó, this place was really good. Next time we come in, I will order the chicken broth. The only reason it didn't get a 5 star review was because of what management said to us as we dined. One of the people in our party did not have soup, they had a sandwich from the restaurant next door. Management came to our table and said that they didn't allow outside food to be eaten in their restaurant. With multiple restaurants located in this shopping center and No signs posted anywhere, I think this policy should be re-evaluated. Between the 3 of us eating Ramen, the bill was almost $84 with a tip. I think for the location being so close to other choices of food and the price, my family should be able to enjoy dinner together. I hope they change this policy in the near future.“

“This is the best sushi in Simi Valley. Our family eats here once a week and the service and food are always on point. The ingredients, sauces and fish are quality and fresh. The rolls are consistent. I order the same roll and it's perfect every time. The chef's are very nice and welcoming. The servers and bus staff are very sweet and happy to see you. They know our orders now!! Also, the hot green tea is wonderful. I have to add that I really like the music they play in the restaurant. This is a nice gem of a restaurant in Simi.“

“Food is great BUT they did something tonite that scared us. They delivered an order of calimari to our table which we did not order. They came back at least 15 minutes later or more and asked if we had ordered it and we said no. Asked if we are from it and we said no and they picked it up and took it to someone else. 15 to 20 minutes it sat at our table.
I am pretty sure that is a health regulation problem. Would you want food that was sitting at some random table?????“

“My wife and I love sushi. We enjoy Katsuya and Nobu and many other fine establishments. We stopped going to these places (at a risk of sounding old) because of the the noise, the attitude, the kids screaming and have discovered this amazing gem in Encino - walking distance from our home.

Sushi - fresh and A++
Rolls - Creative and huge!
Wine - best pour I have ever seen.
Reasonable corkage
Best salmon ever

It's a quiet place - under control - a relaxed atmosphere - friendly staff and helpful chefs. Most importantly - Incredible sushi and more - a very extensive menu.

One of us got broken up with? Silverlake is there for us, and it makes all the pain go away. Celebrating a test grade? Silverlake here we come, and suddenly that test grade feels 10x better than it did before that delectable soboro bowl. But honestly, we needed no specific occasion for a trip to silverlake. The food transports me every. Single. Time. My friend just moved away to college yesterday. So instead of going in, I ordered silverlake for delivery for the first time. And truthfully, I was nervous, I ordered the classic ramen. And I now realize how foolish I was to doubt the greatest restaurant on earth. Currently in my kitchen, with my friend away at school, feeling company enough with the most magnificently delicious bowl of food ive ever had, yet again.“
