Absolutely unacceptable experience — take note.
I cannot believe how unprofessional the staff is at this location. The Starbucks at Founders & Allen (Store #13489) is hands-down the worst I’ve ever visited—and that’s saying something.
The management here is a complete failure. The floor managers are immature, and the rest of the staff follows their lead—rude, dismissive, and totally lacking in basic customer service.
There’s clearly no training, no accountability, and absolutely no leadership.
I’ve noticed multiple poor reviews for this store, and the fact that nothing has improved tells me one thing: district and corporate leadership do not care. It’s shocking how little pride is taken in how this store represents the Starbucks brand.
Instead of posting links to contact corporate when customers are frustrated, maybe try actually leading your team and raising the standard.
I will not support this location again, and I’ll advise others to avoid it as well.
Starbucks, this reflects directly on your leadership.

“Inside of Safeway, but it is so busy they keep everything fresh from the turnover. I know Starbucks! This one is great! Great, fast, helpful service from everyone working in there! My favorites are very simple… cold brew in the summer and Americano in the winter. We often get a muffin or iced lemon bread in the winter. Great place to park on the West side of the building. Very relaxing! One of our Castle Rock favorite stops!
Parking: Park in the Safeway lot as you pull in turn right off of Perry. Go all the way back and park facing West. This looks right at the access to the hike/bike trail too. I feel it is safer than on the street.“
“My toddler knocked over their entire mug display and broke several mugs. I was mortified. They were SO understanding and were amazing about it. They only cared whether he was hurt or not. They then proceeded to offer me free coffee because it was my birthday. Who does that? Only amazing, genuine, kind people. They could have gotten angry, kicked me out. But they chose compassion. Five thousand stars for them.“

“Please stop bagging drinks. As a delivery driver it gets so frustrating to worry if the drinks will spill. I have to put the bag in my passenger seat and hold it at times. It’s much easier to put the drinks in our car so it has less of a chance of spilling.“
“The inside is spacious and clean. I usually go into the store to pick up a mobile order. It has always been ready even before the estimated time. The people there are friendly and efficient. The drinks very a little but are usually good. I'd recommend nitro cold brew as it is very refreshing especially during the summer.“
“We stopped here on the way home from a busy Saturday morning. The staff was very polite, and our cheese sandwich had the perfect temperature!
Vegetarian options: *for the vegans* I want to note that I appreciate very much that getting anything but regular milk is not a big deal at Starbucks anymore, and I hope one day we'll get there with plant-based whipped cream options ?“
“Love love this location!!! Pull up through the drive through where I was pleasantly greeted as usual. Placed my order and was asked if I wanted an extra shot of espresso… I said yes!!! I heard someone in the back Hooten and hollering that I got the upgrade as they must have been doing a competition. I laughed the gal taking my order giggled it was a great way to start my day! Have since found out the managers name is Colin and I’ll tell you what… what a great manager! Every time I have seen him he’s sweet, upbeat, supports his staff, and is always great to me and I’m sure everyone else who goes to this location!!“
