“Best ramen EVER! We stumbled upon Uncle over a decade ago, and since then anytime we’re in CO we come for dinner. The spicy chicken ramen is hands down the best, love all of the bao buns, eggplant is my favorite, but can’t go wrong with crab or pork belly ones either. We’ve never had anything bad, service is always great too! Be sure to make a reservation.“

“Dined at Uncle during Thursday night. Parking would be difficult to find in the area so plan accordingly. We got seated in the bar area and our orders were taken quickly. We ordered duck ramen and bibimbap. Our duck ramen was very tasty with creamy broth and duck meat. However we were hoping the the bibimbap to be hot but it was served to us cold which we were not expecting. Overall definitely recommend Uncle for Ramen.“

“Food here is spectacular. The sushi is some of the freshest in town, and the cuts & presentation are special. There is usually just one chef and one waitress (I think maybe a husband and wife team, but I'm not sure), so don't expect it to be lightning fast. That said, it's worth the wait. Don't sleep on the vegetables. We got the garlic broccoli last time we were there and, despite it seeming to be very simple, it was once of the best dishes I have ever had. There are also some really interesting traditional style sushi that is unlike anything I've had at other local establishments. This is our go-to neighborhood spot when we don't feel like trucking across town to Sushi Den. Highly recommend 10/10.

Hot (but high quality) sake and a bowl of their homemade kimchi ramen (with in-house broth) is the power lunch that strengthens the host to fight the invader. My dining in experience was further enhanced by the handmade metal screens (made by the head chef), subtle decor and gentle piano music. The quality food was equally matched by the service. “Today I was kind of hungry for some ramen and most places were closed, luckily I found this place so I decided to go try it, I think I found my favorite place to eat something delicious late at night, the food and service were more than excellent, I will be back soon!“

“I got the black garlic ramen medium spicy and my friend got the tonkatsu ramen spicy and they were both delicious. The serving size was great and the food had fantastic flavor. I wish they had Sapporo or hot sake, that would make it a 5 star for sure. I would highly recommend trying the ramen herr if you are in the area.“

“Today I had lunch at Tora Ramen. I tried a Japanese sandwich, which was a great surprise! It was very innovative and the flavor was incredible. If you're looking for something different, you have to try this sushi sandwich. It's incredible, and it also comes with a choice of a side of adamame or eggplant fries.“

“Food was excellent! Location is good being that it’s right on 16th street and the atmosphere is well done, clean, inviting and thought out. The service was not great. It was moderately busy and the server forgot about us several times and I had to waive her over each time we needed something. She was friendly but it felt like she either had too many tables or that because we were in the corner we were out of sight and neglected. I’d still recommend going here and it could have just been that particular experience.“

“Tatsu is our favorite Japanese restaurant in Denver. Everything about it is welcoming, the atmosphere and the service is very friendly and attentive. The menu has a wide variety to choose from, including ramen and sushi. But we usually go back to our favorites, such as the pork & chicken gyoza appetizer. This is so yummy, we joke that could make our meal from several orders of these! Other go to favorites are the Chicken Katsu Curry, Chicken Katsudon, and the Fried Rice. These are truly comfort meals, in a cozy atmosphere. Nice selection of alcohol beverages too. We come here often, and love bringing friends from out of town. It never disappoints!“

“Mugi’s ramen is delicious. I don’t eat pork or shellfish and there are options you can remove or modify which is greatly appreciated. The music is fun and upbeat and Pan’s service was impeccable for a quick dine in. We were walked through the menu very thorough and it was pretty great. Glad we checked it out!“

“I was in the parking lot and starving! Didn’t want ramen since it was so hot, so I went with a curry chicken bowl instead. It really hit the spot! The bowl had fried chicken, curry, and pickled radish—totally unexpected but awesome. The server was great, and since the place only had about three tables inside, I managed to beat the lunch rush. The ambiance was fantastic—small and intimate, kind of like being in Japan!“

The sushi is really fresh and it's nice you can get a half bowl of ramen for a really good price and still have run for a little sushi. “I usually don’t leave reviews but this one deserves it 100 percent. I’m an asian woman and i’m very picky when it comes to asian foods. I bought the ramen and it tastes amazing. The ingredients are rich and the ginseng tastes like a cure. Best ramen I ever had in my life, no joke. And the staff are amazing, very quick, responsive and friendly.“

“I really like to eat ramen, and this place is definitely stands out with their quality. They brought a beer with a cooled glass and ramen was just right - spicy enough, with meat chunks not being too fatty. I would definitely come back here.“

“Great duck bao buns, very nice curry chicken noodle dish (tasted better than it looked - the curry sauce looked a little “lumpy” but it was actually really good). Homemade were nicely done. Very clean and neat inside, with plenty of seating. Order at counter and delivered to you. Not the most extensive menu but it all looked good.“

“We were given this recommendation from a friend who lives in Denver. The food was INCREDIBLE, the drinks were delightful, the food came out quickly, despite them being busy on NYE. The music was loud, the laughter along with the people having a great time, made the perfect downtown Denver experience. The ambience is beautiful, the lighting and decor really set the vibe. We would definitely go back on our next visit.“
