Wonderful(ish) crew! Came in on Sunday, 5/4 @ 3:30p, bartender was building a lego set and chatting w/ other employees sitting at bar. Never acknowledged my existence! Food is still great, but it'll be while till they get their 5 stars back for service.

As expected, my trip today, 6/14, was great. Everyone said hi, my food was awesome and they got a huge tip! Next trip will probably erase the 5/4 adventure.”

“We have found a distinct lack of good vegan food whenever we visit Vail. So we were super happy to find this place on the way back to Denver. I hesitate to order vegan cheese normally because I don’t like the consistency, but several people mentioned it very favorably on Google. I had a Mediterranean pizza on gluten-free crust with vegan cheese, and it was delicious. It was a very loud and rambunctious trivia night when we were there, so we enjoyed the beautiful outside tables underneath the Aspen trees. Totally worth a visit. If you’re in the Vail Valley area and looking for some yummy Vegan pizza. ”

The team at Arapahoe Basin / Black Mountain Lodge, including our day-of coordinator, were incredible to work with and made our wedding day go off without a hitch. “We stopped here from Denver and had the Asade Torta and the tacos with chili peppers inside. This was the best Torta I have ever had!!! Everything was so tasteful and delicious from the tacos, Torta to the horchata to the salsas. But what made this restaurant so amazing— I left my purse in the booth and didn’t realize until I got home (2hrs away) I called and they immediately offered to ship it or hold it for me as long as they needed to. When I returned the next day, everything was accounted for. This family owned business is so amazing! From the food to the service, to the care! “Black mount lodge pretty much has it all but is well known for their burgers and barbeque. I had the cheeseburger with fries for $20. It was the best lodge burger I have ever had. I heard the barbeque was amazing but I did not get the chance to try it. I also ate breakfast here at one of the Uphill and Chill events and it was amazing. All you can eat chef prepared breakfast and mimosa bar for $35. I highly recommend it if you are up for the challenge of snowshoeing or skiing up the mountain. The menu consisted of Crispy Pork Belly and Waffles, Sweet Potato Hash, Scrambled Eggs, Country Biscuits and Red-Eye Gravy, Strawberry and Asparagus Salad, and Blueberry-Banana Oatmeal Cake. The mimosa bar had several purees and fruit to add to your bubbly as well as juices.”
