Other notable pastries are the almond croissant, pain au chocolat, and the savory cubano ham and cheese pastry. The ambiance is cozy and inviting. The staff is always so friendly. “The Flour Shop Colorado provided the dessert for my son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. The chocolate chip cookie cake and other assorted cookies were a hit with all of our guests.“

“Our cake was decorated beautifully. The cake yellow cake was not moist but the raspberry filling was delicious. The instructions were to refrigerate until an hour and a half before serving. When we were ready to eat it the frosting was thick and not and soft like a butter cream frosting should be. We would try their pastries but would not buy another cake. Their cake prices are high comparted to other bakery cake prices.“

“The cinnamon roll was excellent, 9/10. They need to work on their system of getting food to people though. Granted it was very busy, there were about 25 people outside waiting for their orders, but we waited over 20 minutes for just a cinnamon roll and a Boston creme pie and started seeing people who had ordered after us get their orders. My friend went up to counter and asked if our order was ready and the guy replied “oh, I can get started on that” then proceeded to also almost forget the frosting on the cinnamon roll. If you mess up like that, an apology and maybe a free pastry would go a long way.“

“Ammonia reminds me of the Greek bakery in Chicago near where I was born 78 years ago. Its plain, unpretentious interior and hearing people speak Greek while enjoying their pastries and coffee give it a very warm charm for me. And they have the best spanakopita and yalaktaboureko.“

“The baked goods here are delicious and the people are very nice. We have had tried their Naan, large Barbari style breads and their sesame bread. All of their breads have been awesome. The first time I went in it was pretty late and everything was put away but the last time I went they also had some pastry offerings up front. My son-in-law forgot to pick it up before they closed but I was able to send a message and the owner Erica was kind enough to meet up with him later that night. They always have a wonderful variety of delicious breads, but recently on the weekends, they've been offering bundles that are so much fun and a welcomed break in the monotony of a covid world. Recently I purchased a bread and butter flight (!!!! I know!) And they had a memorial weekend package with meat from a local butcher, veggies, pickles and aioli from acorn. Prices were extremely reasonable, the self-service area was very clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. They also carried a variety of grocery items, fresh meat, hot food, prepacked and/or imported foods, and many other goods. If you'd like to buy conchas or other pan dulce in bulk, you can even call ahead and order a dozen. I'd definitely return and would recommend.“

“I've been going here for a while now and there's always a good deal. There's always good service. They're always very friendly.
When you walk in if you go to the right they always have discount stuff even though the stuff is heavily discounted to begin with.
They do stock some seasonal stuff and carry brands you don't know they make.
I always get the Orowheat breads Thomas, English muffins and the bagels.. they have a lot of Spanish stuff. Lots of different sweet bakery things. I've tried a few. I'm not as fond of those but they're cheap enough to try.“
