“My husband and daughter (18 months) and I, ate here and had a really lovely experience. We got a couple sushi rolls, fried rice and chicken nuggets and it was all wonderful. The staff were really wonderful with my daughter, and even when she got upset for a moment, they brought out a small balloon to make her feel better. It was really sweet. ❤️

“This is one of the best sushi places in Erie. I love the owners they’re so sweet and nice and I feel so welcomed everytime I come here. I’ve tried like half of the menu already, getting a new item every time I come in and I’ve never been disappointed.

The sushi always tastes fresh and everything I’ve gotten so far would look amazing. My personal favorite would definitely be the sunset roll. I can be a picky and indecisive person but everyone is so helpful and understanding. 100% recommended I never want to go anywhere else.“

The food is always super fresh and delicious, and all the servers are professional, attentive, and very personable. Kyle took excellent care of us today and made our lunch very enjoyable. “Dietary restrictions: We were blown away last night by their amazing sushi. Egg drop soup was delicious and we even had gluten free tempera in our sushi. It seems like everything is fresh and made to order. Owners are an interesting couple, with the wife as the chef. You will not go wrong at this place, friendly host Jason is very attentive to customers.“

“Absolutely fantastic. I had ordered the miso Ramen spicy, but by the time the photos were taken, mine was gone. The dishes pictured are chicken fried rice and Kobe beef udon. We started off with dumplings, soup dumplings might be the coolest thing I’ve ever eaten. Super affordable and 2nd day in a row good!“

“This Japanese restaurant is amazing!!!! Best sushi, fried rice and ramen noodles in the area. I would highly recommend this place. The staff is very welcoming and on top of your every need. The chef is world class and a master in preparing sushi. It’s a gem of a place.

“We love Bao in Louisville. We are so happy that this restaurant has survived the Louisville fire. This year our family ordered a Bao Christmas. We ordered sushi appetizers and dinners to go. All of the food was amazing. It was all hot fresh and high-quality. The manager is amazing and ensures every customer is taken care of. This is one restaurant that is always consistently excellent! “Super spider roll, hawian fried rice, sushimi.I am a very picky about my sushi and was told to give the happy sumo a try. Hesitant but I did.And I am so glad I did! “We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The kids loved the egg drop soup. The whole family enjoy the sushi rolls, and the tofu lo mein perfectly completed our meal.

Vegetarian options: Great entree options with tofu and many vegetarian sushi roll options. We loved the sweet potato tempura sushi roll and shiitake sushi roll. The tofu lo mein had a generous amount of tofu in it.

Kid-friendliness: Peaceful eating environment and staff was friendly to our kids. They had great kid cups with lids and nice straws too.“

“We received their menu in the mail and thought we would try it because he loves sushi and I love my food cooked, there were a lot of choices to choose for both of us, the service and the atmosphere were superb, the food was awesome, this is on the top 3 restaurant list to go back to often. Loved this place.“

“We ate here for the first time yesterday! Right off the bat the service was immediate and entertaining, as the robot cat showed us to our seat. My 4 year old loved it!! The food was so delicious, even my picky child devoured it. Highly recommend the tempura rolls as they were perfectly crispy. We will absolutely be back!“

“Went to Benihana today. Spent close to $200. Service was horrible! Food was okay but not great. Asked for a sushi appetizer which did not come until we had our meal. Server said they didn't have enough help to fix it. When the sushi came we did not have any sauce. We asked one of the helpers who was walking by and she told us we would have to ask our server. We literally had to get up and go ask someone. Ridiculous for the amount of money we paid.“

“Had higher hopes for this place. Their sushi isn't bad, but not my favorite either. New style Sashimi Yellow tail was good, but also not the best. The fish was room temp. It would've been better if it was a little cold. I would recommend cleaning up the tables better and before customers walk in. Maybe some play some music? This place could be better if more effort was made. Overall experience: neutral.“
