Sadly though, more people are finding out how awesome this place is, which is wonderful, just means reservations may be needed, but ensures they keep doing what they're very very good at.Agedashi Tofu is phenomenal, comes with a healthy shaving of Bonito.Anything with the berry jalapeño is also a balanced but tasty roll or taco...Oh and fresh Sea Snail, was pretty flavorful.The O-toro is really high quality and it's O-toro. Not like chu-toro or Akami that some others try passing off of something is clearly not.“

Prices are very fair for the portions - rolls are thicc and sashimi/nigiri are two bite pieces. “Stopped in for lunch on a cold afternoon and the beef ramen really hit the spot. Lots of spice, meat was tender and flavorful.My wife ordered sushi which was OK, but not super fresh. We also split shishitos which were delicious and we split an order of fried rice that was amazing.Service was friendly, but a bit slow. As others have mentioned the atmosphere isn’t bad, just “off”.Will definitely be back.“

“We went for dinner on the earlier side. Service was very prompt and we were in and out with the kids entertained and fed in an hour. The chef was very accommodating for the kids and asked us what would be best for them regarding the flare ups on the grill etc. The food being ready in stages was great for the young children. The steak was delicious and everything was cooked perfectly.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options available. Cooking on the same surface as the meat might be an issue for some.Dietary restrictions: The server asked about dietary restrictions before taking our order.Parking: Parking could be a little tight if going at a busy time.Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs and immediately brought kids water cups out. The chef was very accommodating and put on a show for the little ones. They were thrilled and enjoyed all the food.“

So after investigating a few different places I went to Udon Kashi for their ramen. It was rather Devine in flavor and texture. “Go Fish is our favorite place to go for sushi in the area. Sushi was both delicious and beautifully presented. This visit however, service was not up to par. Waiter seemed to forget to bring our miso soups and ran to get them after bringing our appetizer. And we had a non-sushi eater who ordered from the kitchen. About 15 minutes after the sushi arrived, we had to ask about the order and he panically ran to the kitchen and put the order in. He was very nice and apologetic, maybe just having an off day. They gave us some edamame to compensate for the botched order, but we had already eaten, so that was not appreciated. It was also a birthday celebration which we told them when being seated and also when making the reservation. Normally they acknowledge a birthday with a small dessert (which we would not mind paying for if needed) but this time.... nothing. This experience will not stop us from going back, but the service needs to return to what we usually receive.“

“Our favorite sushi spot in the Boulder-Denver area. Typically we get take-out and the drive through is super convenient. I always get the sashimi special and it’s a great value because the cuts of fish are really large. Plus everything always tastes fresh.The service is always fast as well both for takeout and dine-in.“
“Good strip mall Sushi. In something of a reversal of expectations, the fish was excellent, although only adequately prepared and served. High prices make this a tough recommendation when there are options nearby that get the intangibles right at a similar price point.Service was ok, but not great. We ordered a gluttonous amount of sushi, they decided to serve it in 2 rounds but probably should've served it in 3 rounds as our appetizers came quickly yet the first sushi round took over 30 minutes to arrive, which is too long. The server didn't ask to refill drinks until after the first round of sushi. With more care, they could've balanced out the arrival of our food to reduce "dead time" at the table. To be fair, they only had 1 waiter working and about 5 or 6 active tables, so the waiter was pretty busy.The nigiri was well done and mostly excellent. Specifically the red snapper and yellowtail were superb. Red snapper was firm with some toothsome snap to it. The ahi was also very good, not mushy nor metallic (common Colorado flaws with tuna). The salmon was slightly less great, still very good, but a half-step back from their other fish.Where they lose a star is for their freshwater eel (unagi). It was cold and uniform in texture. Ideally the unagi should be fresh cooked with some crispy bits around the edges by a torch or searing station.The rolls were OK but nothing special. Nice quality of avocado but they were overfilled with cucumber and carrot and had tiny amounts of fish.The restaurant's choice of soy sauce is unfortunate as it is very one-note and too salty. They should at least use low sodium soy by default and if possible switch suppliers.Finally, a subjective issue -- their wasabi was too mild for my palate, perhaps this was an attempt to mimic 'real' Japanese wasabi, but most western sushi restaurants use the spicy horseradish wasabi which I am used to and prefer for mainstream sushi.“

The staff was friendly and they had a great selection of fish.The restaurant is very conveniently located off I-25.I look forward to visiting again and trying their specialities to give a broader review.“

The establishment was also very tidy and clean. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Japanese cuisine, you know where to go :)“

“The food was amazing! We started our meal off with the crab cheese wonton. These were the BEST that I have ever tried. I would go back just for those. I ordered the Spicy Sachi Ramen, it was good and it must have been all made from scratch because I waited on my meal alone for 25 minutes. My wife got the Chicken Hibachi, and it was very good (I stole a bite ?). We also got Eel Nigiri, Spicy Salmon Nigiri, and Mackerel Nigiri. The sushi was amazing. The only downfall was the service. We waited around 10 minutes for each refill, and that was when we would see the waitress come by. Otherwise, it was about a 15-minute wait for refills or anything else we needed.“
“I had been sleeping on Sakura - it’s fast indeed, yummy and fresh, rolls are a great size, and the man and woman working there were very pleasant both on the phone and in person. I ordered the crazy horse roll (good portion of fish in there!), firecracker roll, and the bronco roll. The ambiance is casual and unassuming, so not necessarily a spot for date night but perfect for lunch, quick dinners and takeout.“
