The manager (young woman with gauges) is brilliant, considerate, kind and outgoing and the service of the entire staff reflects her commitment to quality. “I didn't realize how nice this place was until I stopped at a Safeway down in Denver. The people are super friendly and I've always gotten great service. Seems like for some reason they are always hiring and on occasion, the lines can get long. The store is always clean and well organized. My only complaint is the produce molds very quickly. Literally within a few hours I've had to toss berries. I only buy 1-2 days worth of fruit since it doesn't stay good very long.“

“These cupcakes are delicious and they’re definitely fresh. I think they’re as good as a cupcake gets. Gluten free options are also plenty. My only criticism is that they charge extra if you order cupcakes for a wedding - even though nothing changed about the cupcakes. The owner calls this a consult fee. It feels greedy.“
“Everything we've tried from Grateful Bread has been above and beyond amazing. Our recent trip yielded a chocolate croissant-type roll, jalapeño bread and a loaf of sourdough rosemary bread. The chocolate roll was the perfect amount of chocolate and pastry. I pulled each layer off and ate it individually. The jalapeño bread was hearty and spicy; perfect for dipping into lentil soup. And the rosemary bread... Wow! Hearty, but not heavy. Great structure and consistency. Looking forward to going back soon!“
“I've been here a few times for a chai fix; my most recent experience was being the in-laws. We were walking around Golden and stopped for some coffee - I got the spicy chai (have had the sweet and ginger turmeric previously). I was a little disappointed with this one, the depth of flavor was lacking but there was a slight bite to it at the end. The place overall is super cute and is always busy. I like how they have a kids corner in the back for children to play in! Overall will continue to stop here for coffee if I'm in town.“
“I was bummed about my veggie sandwich because it was vastly different than the menu description. The menu listed beets, squash, roasted red pepper and dressed arugula as the fillings - and while the bread was insanely good, my version had giant Brussels sprouts on it, which made it extremely hard to eat, and no beets or red pepper, and the arugula was not dressed. The service was friendly, but I wish they would've told me they were subbing the majority of the ingredients because I would've ordered something else! The bread was amazing and the pastries look great, so I will be back to try again, but will ask questions!“
