“Tammee and her crew catered our daughters wedding in Ouray this past weekend. Fabulous doesn’t start to describe! She also did the cake which stole the show! Several comments I have gotten since included ‘best wedding cake I’ve ever tasted’ to ‘top 3 cake in my lifetime’. We followed up by going to the cafe on Sunday where again the food was fantastic! If you need an event caterer or a place for lunch/dinner True Grit is the place!“

“Amazing food! Every dish we ordered from appetizer, to entree, to dessert was incredible and so well crafted! The owner, Kate, was really sweet and took the time to introduce herself to us and chat. “Delicious! A perfect place to stop before hitting the trails. We got salad nicoise, and salmon kale salad. All were delicious and we were able to eat right outside in the shade. We also picked up 2 BLT wraps a vegan chocolate chip cookie and a gluten-free brownie that we plan to have later so I'll report back. The best thing was the friendly counter service. Service with a smile and a warm caring attitude. We will be back.“

“As a local, I have loved Kate’s for several years. However, I do NOT like the recent changes. The beloved home fries are gone and replaced with frozen diced potatoes- very disappointing. You can’t upgrade your bread option to a pancake anymore, either.“

“Came here on a quiet Thursday for breakfast after reading the bougie landrover review. Solidly good food! Croissant sammie was delicious as was the breakfast burrito. Parking was tricky to figure out but if you’re flexible, you can figure it out.“

“Laid back spot in Telluride. Fun atmosphere. A lot of kids, so if you are looking for "adult" this isn't it. But Charlie (one of the owners) tells a great story and works the room, and all the deserts and hand made by Floradora, so it is a local treat.“
