“My husband and I went here to spend his birthday dinner and they treated us like royalty. We had a booth decorated with birthday stuff and a card signed by all the staff. It was truly special. The dinner was amazing and scallops cooked to perfection. At the very end of the dinner they brought out my husband a box of chocolates with a candle saying happy birthday with it. Thank you for making this such a memorable birthday for him.“

“Absolutely a winner of the first plate club. We had been meaning to try for a while now and finally got the chance. Upon entering, it was a little dark, but honestly I don't mind that. It creates an atmosphere of seclusion at your individual table.The menu is short but robust. Honestly, this kind of quick meal and drink place, but with table service is what I love. Give me a cheese board, but then take it real seriously...YES. We all love lunchables still right? This takes it to a whole new level. We also got the meatballs which were a nice compliment to the "Table Board." And of course the wine list rounds everything out.Then you have the service. Let me tell you, Elise is the kind of server that makes going out so enjoyable. Jovial, attentive, encouraging, and knowledgeable. An all around great human being.The cherry on the top was honestly that the pricing was reasonable. Everything's more expensive and we are not complaining about any of that. But comparatively for the type of food we're getting, we felt like this was a very reasonable price and exactly what we were looking to pay.My partner and I both agree that we need to come back and start eating our way through the menu. Their motto, "Refreshment for the journey ahead" fits extremely well with them. I felt so relaxed, refreshed, and happy here. They have an excellent selection of libations. Food was beyond tasty. The service was amazing. Our bartender was Tyler was a whiz making everything that was asked of him, especially when he made a double pour! For food, we had the charcuterie board, short rib tacos, wagyu cheeseburger, and ended with my favorite dessert, crème brûlée ! Plenty of couches and sitting areas, with little tables for drinks.“

I had been searching for a good spot for dosa since moving here, and I am overjoyed to have finally found it in Village Grill.A savory crepe made from a fermented gram flour, dosa taste cheesy while remaining dairy free and are served folded around a vegetable curry. On the side you will find chutneys unlike any chutney you are likely to be familiar with. The peanut chutney was a revelation in flavour.Other meals here are also excellent, but please, don’t sleep on the dosa.“
