“We only stayed in Aspen for one night and I’m so glad we chose Tavern! From start to finish, everything was perfect.

The food was absolutely delicious—full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Over at the bar, Jordan and Kellen mixed up some of the best drinks we’ve had in a long time.

Kellen and Jordan are highly recommended — they’re both so nice, attentive, and made the experience even better. Definitely the kind of people who make you feel welcome and taken care of.

And a special thank you to Ashley, the owner—she personally came over to check on us, helped out, and made sure our experience was unforgettable. It’s rare to see an owner so hands-on and genuinely caring.

“I’ve been going to Sunday in Snowmass at least once a week for the past two months, and every visit has been such a great experience! The ice cream is absolutely delicious, the shop itself is adorable, and the staff is young, dynamic, and always so patient and sweet—even with kids debating over toppings.

I also love their app—the rewards add up quickly, and I ended up getting free ice cream a couple of times, which was such a nice bonus.

“We love Snowmass in the off season. Toro and its prix fixe special did not disappoint. The sushi rolls (suviche) were unexpected in a latin restaurant, creative, fresh and crisp. The lobster wonton roll was our favorite. I regret I don't remember our server's name. She was Peruvian. She was lovely - very kind and attentive. The only thing we didn't love was how close we were to the table next to us. It felt like the gentleman seated there was uncomfortably having to listen to our conversation. If the restaurant had been full and busy, maybe more noise around would have helped, but if you're a table of 2, beware the (almost communal) bench seating.”

“This restaurant has great food and great location. I had pad Thai chicken and beef. The first night I requested spicy chicken, and it wasn’t nearly as spicy as I wanted. The next night I tried the pad Thai spicy beef and asked for “extra spicy”. Now this was made perfectly with a ton of heat! Great flavor, very authentic flavors and friendly people”

“If you happen to be staying at The Little Nell or visiting Aspen make brunch reservations at Element 47. Pancake lovers: try the Lemon Soufflé Pancakes, there’s just the right amount of citrus in these decadent fluffy pancakes. Vegans & avo toast lovers try the Avocado Toast. Plentiful, perfectly seasoned mashed avocado with feta & pickled onions on house baked bread is superb. Another vegan option is the Warrior Pudding Bowl, this healthy dish is super flavorful, light yet filling. Ingredients include quinoa, hemp, chia & oat. The Nell’s famous Hot Cocoa is rich, creamy & a quintessential tribute to Valrhona’s top of the heap chocolate. The recipe includes half & half, sugar, Valrhona cocoa powder & chocolate. It’s unreal! I’m a pastry fanatic so I always can’t wait to hear what flavor hand pie (pop tart esque) is on the menu. I also stash one in my ski back pack, makes the chairlift ride even more fun!”

We had the tuna crudo, and burrata as a starter I had the lamb which was great, and my husband had the New York strip, which was also very good done perfectly and then we shared asparagus, and we had yogurt as a dessert. The atmosphere was great. The drinks were good. The service was fabulous.”

“’m always looking for some place different to eat, to stay, to do, when we travel. I’m not sure how I even found this restaurant but I’m sure part of the attraction was a black owned business in Aspen. MAWA’s Kitchen is like striking gold in the mountains of Colorado. Every dish was excellent, from the Brussel Sprout Caesar to the Two Roots Sautéed Greens, pure heaven in your mouth. For our entrees Conrad chose the Red Snapper. It was served on top of some Zaalouk, which is a Moroccan salad of cooked eggplant and tomatoes. Delicious. I chose the West African Gumbo. The flavors meshed together perfectly and had a little spicy Andouille sausage to kick it up a notch. The servers were great and they even gave me a dessert for my birthday. I would definitely recommend this for a great dining experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped by for brunch today, another excellent meal. Got to meet Mawa. Such a great place. And the servers are the best!! ❤️❤️❤️”

We had the Vitello Tonnato, the truffle pizza, Paccheri Rosa, Ossobuco Gnocchi and the Ravioli. And of course can’t forget the most decadent Tieamizú. Absolutely sublime experience.”

“Spent a 3day weekend in Aspen, mostly dining out every evening. Every review at places said pricey for what you get served. Including this place. Buffalo Burgers are usually expensive anyway... I can say as a fact that the size of the burger was large and thick, perfectly cooked! Juicy Tasted Wonderfully delicious!! I forget what my friend ordered but she did say it was the best thing she ate so far on the trip. We did go on a Sunday kinda late. When we walked past to the hiking trails it was packed all the times.”

“Absolutely spectacular. We chose the tasting menu that was brilliantly created by the chef. Each course was fabulous. Not a single miss the entire evening. The sommelier chose the perfect wine and the staff was supportive and seamlessly moved us through each course. The courses were each creative, delicious and beautifully plated. A wonderful evening.
