“Juan G was awesome! Checked in on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. As far as AYCE goes, Chubby has the highest quality and best selection I've found. The wait was about 40 minutes on a Tuesday night at 7:30 for 2 people, but you can join their wait list before you get there (live and learn).

The restaurant itself is also really cool. Very bright with lots of fun artwork and Japanese inspired styling. Thanks for this find, Instagram 😂“

“This was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time! The restaurant is so cute from the moment you walk in. A couple friends and I sat at the sushi bar, shared a bottle of sake, crab cheese wontons and several sushi rolls.

The sushi chefs were incredibly kind and surprised us with complimentary salmon nachos while we waited which were AMAZING. To top it all off, they brought us mochi ice cream for dessert.

Every single thing we ate was delicious and the staff made the entire experience feel so welcoming and special. Exceptional food, wonderful service, and such a fun atmosphere. I will definitely be back! 😊🍣✨“

“I'm so thrilled to see the DOMO is back open. This is one of my all-time favorite restaurants with some of the best food I've ever enjoyed. Entering the restaurant feels like passing through a magic gateway into rural Japan where you get to savor authentic country cuisine. “I came for the ramen because they make their broth in house as well as their noodles and after trying many other Denver ramen spots, so far the Shirayuki ramen is the best ramen I’ve had outside of Japan. The broth is insanely flavor and has a deep level of richness and texture. It’s perfect. The noodles are to die for IMO - hand pulled and the perfect size and consistency. Honestly I’m not sure what to fault this ramen on other than I want more.

The sushi is pretty good too but not amaaaazing. For the price though it’s an incredible value! Would (and have) already returned. And will likely keep coming back.

They also have some Japanese beers which I always enjoy.

I also wanna say their menus are really nice. 1 big 2 sided laminated page with a color menu. Super nice touch!

Staff is super friendly and welcoming and the decor as you walk in is inviting.

My ONLY complaint is there’s a weird sewage or garbage smell on the outside patio that’s quite off putting. We wanted to sit outside our 2nd time there but had to move indoors to not ruin our appetite.

But the ramen slaps and is my favorite in Denver so far 👌“

“Great food and service! The most tender chicken breast ever. The desserts are so delicious. Clean and cozy dining room. Staff that makes you feel like family. All around fantastic dining experience.“

“The food has a homemade flavor that you don't really get from other places. I got the Chicken Katsu Don and you could tell it was hand prepped and made. The slightly sweet sauce paired nicely with the otherwise savory dish. I also tried the Karage and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

There is only 1 thing that keeps this away from 5 stars and thar is the Boba. I got the strawberry one and it was a bit too strong. Having almost a perfume flavor to it. But I also tried the normal milk tea and that was delicious, better than some milk tea specific places I have been too.“

“We love Kumoya! It is such a hidden gem. We came tonight for our anniversary and every single bite was delicious. The staff had personalized the menus for us after reading our reservation. Our waitress was so kind and knowledgeable. We love to sit at the sushi bar and watch the chefs in action! We always recommend to our friends and family who have a special occasion or just love phenomenal food. We will continue to come back again and again!“

“A really good spacious restaurant that had the best food and service 😇😇 We walked in without any reservations and were seated quickly. The staff is always on its feet giving the best service 😇😇 I had the Spicy Crab and Jalapeno rolls while my husband had Mushroom Chicken with steamed rice and each bite was simply wow ❤❤ Our full compliments to the chefs who were making the food in front of us with so much care and attention 🙏🙏 For dessert I had the Mochi ice cream (mango + chocolate) and my husband had the Tiramisu ice cream cake and once again it was beyond tasty 😇😇 Cannot wait to come back to this 11/10 restaurant and try other items on its extensive menu ❤❤“

“Even though the sushi bar is turned into a daycare (which I would normally rail), this might be the BEST sushi rice I've had. The Ikura was excellent, and all Nigiri sooooo fresh. If they re-did the shop front, they could really turn it up.“

“We love Kobe An and have been patrons going back 30 years since they were in Lakewood. Marco has done an amazing job with the new -er location and his staff is well trained. His newer sushi chefs are doing a fantastic job which leaves him free to focus more on the front of the house. We told him tonight that the sushi is the best it’s been in the 30 years we’ve been going to his restaurants. The hamachi and mussels were outstanding, as were the rolls and cocktails. The new Kobe An is the real deal.“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in Denver period. I’m Japanese and have eaten at every Japanese restaurant in Denver and I just keep coming back. This is a perennial, family run establishment that serves traditional Japanese food. Everything on the menu is great, and there’s a dish for everyone; if you’re looking for a reliable and affordable Japanese spot for lunch, this is it.

Don’t care for nor listen to the negative reviews regarding “slow” service or whatever else people are nitpicking. The family that runs the restaurant works really hard every single day, providing delicious food and great service. Not everything is perfect, but thats how I like it; the waitress is an older Japanese lady who works extremely hard alongside her family in the kitchen; it is disheartening to see negative comments from people who are unable to understand how much work it takes to run a restaurant.

“Easy find an conveniently located. The sushi are so cheap, delicious, and well sized. Got 5 pieces of tempura sushi for around $7. They give you sauces at request and a good amount. The menu has amazing prices, especially in this economy. There's also drinks and snacks if you're interested.

My only true issue is the wait time. They only take an order or 2 every 5 to 10 minutes. I waited around 30 minutes for my order. I forgive this since there were only 2 workers and a decent number of customers. Bathrooms and tables are there while you wait. Clean inside.

If you're looking for cheap sushi- don't buy it for nearly twice the price at the target or Walgreens on either side. Get it fresher and tastier here.“

“I wanted to eat a bagel and drink some wine after going to the movies, so I saw some carnivorous plants instead. Since I was still hungry and thirsty I got a haircut. My hair was upgraded and I also drunk a bottle of wine. I got a tattoo afterwards. My leg looks fantastic and my bagel was also delicious, but something was missing. I got some sushi. It was brilliant but not as good as this bagel. I got a second one. That was missing. The second bagel.“

“Ill start with the positive: all the food was great, we had the snow white appetizer plus the Hawaiian and Dynamite rolls. + some seaweed salad, salmon sashimi and a fried rice dish. Thumbs up for all of that. The food was ready about 15 minutes after the expected time and they forgot to include the spicy crispy tuna for the promotion so that was a little disappointing.“

I was so glad that was at the end bc my feelings would have been hurt if I found it before I was just about finished eating. my daughter had a Cali roll that she said was good. and a kid's bento box. the Ramen was a bit dry IMO but everyone liked it fine. good mango lemonade.
