Starbucks in Thornton

“I’ll admit this but don’t judge, I go to Starbucks multiple times a week and have been all over the country and this was the best experience I’ve ever had at a Starbucks drive though. Here’s why: Ben. Ben asked me if I had tried a specific item that I had not. That threw me off. Never has another Starbucks rep asked me that. He laughed, he was happy and it made me happy. Thank you Starbucks team for making my work trip to Colorado so much more colorful!“

“I usually pick up meeting coffee at this specific location because it is on my way to work. They have even helped me in a pinch (only 30 minutes notice)!

Last week, Nov. 7, I tried to be a better customer and called about 2 hours before I needed two travellers for that day's meeting. When I arrived at 8A, they had no idea what I was talking about. I was obviously frustrated but brushed it aside and asked if it was possible to get these made. They agreed and rung up the order.

It was obviously busy and they were not super happy to be rushing all over for this. One particular employee had some nasty attitude saying it was my fault that I had called the wrong location. All within ear shot of me and the rest of the customers. I assertively assured her that I had called the right location, using Google Maps to ensure so. She then proceeded to tell me not to talk to her that way and that it wasn't her fault. I told her that I knew it wasn't her fault, that there was miscommunication somewhere, but she shouldn't talk about customers when they were right there.

This store still gets 4 stars because they are usually amazing. AND the manager on duty the morning of Nov. 7th was amazing. She didn't hesitate to get her staff moving on my order and apologized on behalf the rude employee and for the order error. She was kind and level-headed through the whole thing.“

“I have been a happy customer here for years. Recently, my Shaken brown sugar espresso must have got mixed up with another order. It was a disappointment since I was in a hurry and couldn't go back to fix it.
I mentioned it to Makayla, the store manager, and ahe didn't hesitate to make it right. Excellent as usual.
Not all Starbucks are the same.

“Starbucks is my go-to spot for coffee, and it rarely disappoints. The drinks are consistently good, whether I’m sticking to a classic Pike Place or trying out one of the seasonal specials. I also really enjoy their selection of pastries and breakfast sandwiches, which pair perfectly with a morning coffee run.

What I appreciate most, though, is the atmosphere. The stores are usually clean, comfortable, and make a great place to relax, get work done, or catch up with friends. The staff is generally friendly and quick, even during the busy morning rush, and mobile ordering makes things super convenient when I’m in a hurry.

Overall, Starbucks strikes a great balance of quality, convenience, and welcoming vibe—making it much more than just a coffee shop. Highly recommend!“

“I’m in this Starbucks often doing work. Will be in there for a while and see all the big surges of people. Especially when the high school lets out.

Just want to say that the staff here works their ass off! They are nonstop pretty much all day and are very efficient at their jobs. On top of that, they are all super kind and have gone out of their way to help people with their drink changes, spills, etc.

“This is my favorite Starbucks. Problem is not with the location, but the brand. Everything here is too expensive, so I usually end up not going to any locations and just making coffee at home. Shout out to Dragon Roast Coffee, also based in Thornton, because that's what I brew at home when I can't afford Starbucks!“

“I look forward to my chai tea latte several times a week, and primarily at this location because the drive through barista, Theri, is the friendliest person!! She is always happy and has kind words which light up my mornings ?I always look forward to starting my day this way!“

“Gabriella was so kind and helped me decide what to order! She demonstrated wonderful guest service and I noticed she really had a positive effect on all the customers’ experience. She recommended me a drink while I was ordering that sounds really yummy and I’m definitely going to have to return here.“

“I took my senior parents in for their covid vaccine at the pharmacy today. (771 Thornton Pkwy location) The pharmacy was efficient with essentially no waiting. The pharmacist, Susan, was so kind, compassionate, and empathetic. My mom has many allergies. She had my parents wait 30 min after vaccination and checked on them several times. The pandemic has taken a toll on our isolated seniors, who are a vulnerable population so her kindness and attentiveness was greatly appreciated. My parents and are grateful they received the vaccine and that this was a positive experience. Thank you, Susan!! 🙏🏽“

“BEST STARBUCKS! I've been reading how slow this place is and it makes sense, if you did happen to go through the drive thru..... It would make a huge mess, not to mention block the entire entrance to King Soopers! Seriously though, it seems like this location gets all the bad reviews from across the street. “Had a young gentleman make me a chai latte (delicious, nailed it) and my daughter a kids hot cocoa. He asked her name to put on the cup and 10 min later she can't stop talking about how tickled she is to have her name on the cup. Awesome job making someone's day ?“

“A well organized and lively store. The staff are fast, friendly and efficient. It's the perfect place to take a short break and enjoy a good cup of coffee while shopping. Conveniently located in the heart of the outlet and filled with the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee.“

“Everyone here was so super friendly. The store was clean. I love that they had a little coloring book station for kids. My kid is 25 years old and he may or may not use that. Haha. I would totally use it. Our drinks are always correct. There's a nice selection of food. Thank you so “
