“I love this place! There are so many yuppie restaurants in Fort Collins, Ever Open Cafe is a nice, throwback, greasy spoon diner alternative to them. No gimmicks, no virtue signaling, no out of touch nonsense. Just a good place to get affordably priced American food in a laid back, comfortable atmosphere.“

“Went here on a double date and had a pretty good experience overall. The restaurant was clean and smelled great, but it was surprisingly dark inside — even though it was still sunny out, the lighting felt a bit too dim for our taste. The food was excellent and tasted super fresh, which almost made up for the higher prices. Drinks were definitely on the expensive side compared to nearby spots. That said, the service was friendly and attentive. If you're okay with paying a little more for great quality food, it's worth checking out.“

“I ate at The Sand Bar last night. It's down in the basement of the main restaurant clubhouse (upstairs on the main level is their fine dining). The booths are like golf cart seats, and the ceiling is painted blue like the sky with wraparound accent lighting behind a little shelf that's recessed in the ceiling. The cheeseburger I got was a bit too dry, and the tots could've been sprinkled with seasoning. The Key Lime Pie was good but very sweet. The standout for me was the chicken taco! They put about as much chicken and cheese as would fit in it. I certainly feel like I got my money's worth. It tasted delicious. After the dry burger, the chicken was nicely seasoned and dripping with juice.
The sink in the men's room was broken, meaning they needed to reattach the faucet to the granite sink. Water still came out and I could wash my hands. They said someone else also let them know and that they'd put in a work order to get it fixed.
But the most unpleasant thing about the whole meal last night was the obnoxiously loud guy sitting at the bar dropping frequent f-bombs. Looking over at another family table of 4, they seemed to be a bit uncomfortable and glaring over at him. Look, I get it. People get loud, rowdy, and drunk at a bar. I'm not a member here, but I have worked at a few country clubs. Stuff like that might happen out on the golf course, but never in the restaurant in front of children and more elderly members. At the very least, I don't think it unreasonable for one of the bartenders or managers to have asked the guy to speak a little quieter so that the whole restaurant didn't have to hear his many conversation topics and vulgar language.“

“AKA Kitchen is an oasis of amazing food and cocktails in a sea of local competitive eateries and breweries in the downtown Loveland area. We've been on several occasions (including my bachelor party) and have never had any issues! Sam is the BEST person to have as your server; attentive, accommodating, and more than happy to share favorites when the menu changes, we love AKA Kitchen!

“I just got off my flight to DEN, drove an hour and a half, arrived right before the kitchen closes at 9 pm. They served me and made me the highest quality bison short rib that a man can ask for. I enjoyed how soft the meat was, the carrots, the potatoes and topped it off with ice cream/cookies. Definitely worth the food.“

“Just happened upon this cozy little lounge. Upon walking in, the cutest little man was playing his guitar and singing some jazzy tunes, dressed to the T, in his Hank Sr cowboy attire. I found out he'd just celebrated his 97th birthday and plays there every Friday night. What a treat it was to listen. The service was quick and on point, the food was awesome, i had the fish n chips n slaw and I left stuffed! Definitely a great experience.“

Called to speak to a manager to let them know to check their salad. on hold for 20 min...then they picked up and hung up on me. 3 strikes you are out. incredibly poor service for a guest service industry. and now after posting I do NOT recommend, this posts as I recommended...haha. do yourself a favor and stay away“

“I love this restaurant! The staff is great, the environment is my favorite, the food is delicious, they also have dietary options for people that are GF, and I love that they have alcoholic drinks. The service is great I’ve never had a bad experience, food comes quickly and the servers are attentive. If you’re looking for a brunch place this is IT!! On a scale of 1-5 they’re a 10!! The only recommendation I can think of is some sort of bottomless mimosa and Bloody Mary combo!“

“I planned a surprise birthday dinner for my husband there this Saturday. They were able to accommodate our large group reservation. They even called the day before to check and make sure everything was good to go with my reservation. Our server Forrest was absolutely amazing! “A Memorable Spot That's Growing a Bit Too Pricey This restaurant has long been our go-to for special occasions, and it's easy to see why—the food is outstanding, the drinks are always spot-on, and the overall dining experience remains exceptional. My wife and I returned here for our 20th wedding anniversary, drawn by fond memories and consistent quality. However, we couldn't help but notice some disappointing changes. The menu, while still offering excellent dishes, has shrunk in scope, and prices—which were already high—have crept even higher. What was once a complimentary bread basket is now a paid item, and the Mediterranean olives my wife used to enjoy (a gluten-free favorite) were no longer available to her, at least without a price tag associated. Don't get me wrong—the meal was still delicious. We each had a standard entrée and two drinks, and while we left satisfied, the tab, with tip, came to $200. For that price, you expect not just great food, but a sense of generosity that's becoming harder to feel here. I still love this place and will continue to recommend it—just with a heads-up that what used to feel like a luxurious treat now comes with a steeper price tag and slightly fewer perks.“

“It's a 😎 joint. The bartender was rushing us, and when you have a hundred beers, you need some time. I ordered my mac and cheese with no hatch chilies. He said they could make that happen. It didn't happen. The chilies were cooked in it. However, I asked for a hot dog cut up and mixed with the M&C, and they did that. Hubby loved his Ruben and fries. They use rice oil to fry foods. Hubby can't have soy oil; he was super happy about that“
