We've gone to a lot of places, but lo and behold, the best BBQ came to us when we discovered this little gem of a food truck parked up the street from us. Everything we have had here has been top notch. The meats are infused with a wonderful smokey flavor, and seasoned/sauced perfectly. The beans are some of the best I have had. Mario is one of the nicest, friendliest people you could ever want to meet. If you're looking for some exceptional BBQ I highly recommend this truck.“

It’s actually been a little while since I’ve been over there, but a new coworker who has recently moved to Denver and lives in Highlands, asked me about restaurants and I recommended you. “When I first walked into this restaurant it smelled heavenly, it was amazingly organized in there and really clean. I was able to sit somewhere immediately. Thats 5 star for me automatically.The waiter I received was very respectful and kind, and made sure we were all ready to order with confidence. I ordered pulled pork, Texas sausage and for my sides I got pit beans with mac and cheese. Don't even get me started on that pork, it was juicy and had amazing flavor. Now let me tell y'all I am for Texas and thats the best texas sausage I've ever had!! The mac was cheesy and seasoned.The pit beans were delicious.To finish it all off, I got an Dulce De Leche Carlota. I am not a dessert person but it was pretty decent. I even got to meet the owner. The meat is always tender and flavorful (I typically get the pork and brisket) and honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. They have six house-made sauces that range with any base you would want (mustard, vinegar, sweet, spicy, etc) I love being able to mix and match depending on what I order. Friendly service and consistently good food make this place my go-to when I’m craving BBQ in the city.“

There's a man with an apron, a Chinese cleaver and a big wood chopping block chopping away at pork, chicken and duck while loudly directing the other staff as they assist him. It felt nostalgic to me so I kept coming back and dined there twice while visiting Denver. I miss food with schechuan peppercorn. I like this over Star Kitchen which used to be my go to.“

The amount of sauces to choose from is a nice touch to the experience. Regina was extremely helpful with explaining everything with her little spiel, which made it easy to understand. She definitely represents the restaurant well. Definitely will be back to get the turkey.“

Many of the buildings have super high ceilings with very pretty wood trusses; cool architectural feature.There's a parking lot that runs down the middle, in between the rows of businesses, and another lot on the south side.“

“The broths at this place are so good! I had the tom yum broth and was blown away by how delicious it was. My friends got the vegetable, seafood, pho, and the house broths and they too all loved their broths. The meats were delicious and fresh. There was a good amount of hotpot selection. The only downside to this place is the lack of staff. There were only 2 servers and 1 busser. They were slammed as it was Friday night but did their best to get you what you need. I recommend ordering your refill all at once instead of asking for 1-2 item at a time. We did big initial order and a 2nd round of refill and that was enough for the night. We all enjoyed our night so much! We left the staff a butterfly 🦋 gift.“
