“I stopped down here the other day after reading about the place on some reddits for having good cheesesteaks.

Boy was I not disappointed. This is easily one of the best cheesesteaks CT has to offer and I have tried many.

The fries were hot and crispy, the onions were not overbearing chopped up nicely, the meat was seasoned beautifully and everything was made fresh and hot. No bad bits or chewy bits in the steak and great flavor.

Staff was super friendly, place was clean. As soon as someone gets up they clean it.

Very affordable. Really nothing to gripe about. This place is awesome! Cant wait to go back for more.“

“Randomly stopped here for my mom’s birthday dinner and so glad we did! We were seated immediately, got our drinks pronto and the server made sure to make my mom feel special on her birthday! We ordered the mushroom pasta (truffle butter is divine), the roasted duck and bolognese. Yummy all around. Service is amazing and definitely contributes the most to this 5 star rating! “I ordered a filled bagel and a cupcake. The service was very friendly and warm, and quick though there was quite a queue. The bagel was excellent, great taste, with a small side salad. The cupcake was really moist and beautiful, the buttercream very creamy, and tasty all-in-all, though very sugary! I would recommend this place for the excellent bagels and kind service, and the cupcakes for the ones with a sweet tooth. Maybe an idea for the future to have some sweet products that don't pack quite as much sugar, but I'm definitely coming back for another bagel!“

“Food was excellent. My friend ordered the sea bass and loved it. I ordered one of the salad/rice bowls and it was delicious. Suzanne was the best waitress ever! She was friendly, funny and gave good recommendations regarding the menu. Ended up having friends show up and none of us were without service when it was needed. She was always there with a smile! “Very quiet restaurant in hotel lobby. Service was very friendly and attentive. Slightly overpriced for quality of food. Menu was very limited, with really the option for dinner being a burger, taco, or turkey sandwich. Food was very good and not greasy. However, it was expensive for the quality.“

“This place by far is the best burger joint in the Valley. Easily. My favorite is the cutlet sandwich, my mother in law swears by the fried seafood platter, my husband loves the bacon cheeseburgers. We all love the chili dogs and their fries. If you’re a morning person, their bacon egg and cheese is the best I’ve ever had. Plus, Pricila and Sam are so incredibly nice. Highly recommend.“

“The Village Cafe is one of my favorite places for breakfast and lunch. A true hidden treasure in the heart of Ansonia. The quality of the food made here is second to none, and the value for what you pay can't be beat. I always order the house salad with grilled chicken & my co workers love the chicken breakfast burrito, but we have tried pretty much everything on the menu and it is all equally as good. The Village Cafe team is top notch and I am so thankful to have such a wonderful place nearby.“

“Decent drinks and food. Calamari is great for a bar. They haven't had the correct ingredients for drinks all week. Small things like cherries, orange bitters, orange peel, etc. Also run out of normal brands a lot.
Decent enough but a little pricey for not being able to get a correctly made drink.“

The parking lot was full but you can park near the gas station across the road .The staff were very helpful and helped set up a table for 4 for us .The room is small ,but feels warm and cozy .The Easter decor looked cute .

“Went to pub 67 last night to watch Nashville drive I have to say this is now my favorite place to watch a band, such a great atmosphere. We had 9 people in our group our server was RJ the food drinks and service were top notch! One of the best burgers I have had in a long time, cooked to perfection soft roll and the Cajun tator tots oh my!! Definitely recommend you stop in and give it a shot! We will be back.
