“My only complaint is that they don't have any decent desserts. Otherwise a great place! Saw some people dressed too casually in street clothes. Should enforce business casual clothing People with small children should be seated away from others.“

My go to is the harvest Salad with the house balsamic vinaigrette (wow, it’s awesome), the Chicken Club is also really good. Great place to go and grab a beer as they have a great selection, and watch a game. Staff and ownership are amazing.“

They Play My Favorite Movie Nacho Libre Whenever I Went Although I Haven't Seen It Recently But 8/10 Times It's On And I'll Grab My Pizza, Beer, And Nuggets Which Is Also Pretty Good

“I’ve lived in CT for 50 yrs and this was my first visit to Toads Place. Awesome venue for a show. Small enough to feel intimate but big enough to offer space. Sound system was great and the acts are top notch. Enjoyed the event so much, made me feel like I was 18 again.“

“I was recently there for dinner with my wife . Food was good , service was excellent and the entire staff could not have been more accommodating and we interacted with a number of them . Nice decor and spoke about coming back in summer months as the venue would be great . Unfortunately we will never go back . When I got the bill I saw that they charged me 75 cents for mustard that I requested for my deluxe burger , I was infuriated . The catsup was free but was blown away by a charge for mustard. Did not complain or even mention it . It was minor on a $60 bill plus a 25% tip . But the fact that someone would nickel and dime you like that said I will take my business elsewhere . Can you imagine doing that?“

Staff was attentive and wait times for food and drink were short. Extensive tap selection, solid mixed drinks, and the food I had was delicious.

Fantastic selection of both retro and some more modern games, a smaller space than I expected, but that wasn't at all an issue, if anything it made it feel cozier and more like a classic arcade of the past.

“I ordered a filled bagel and a cupcake. The service was very friendly and warm, and quick though there was quite a queue. The bagel was excellent, great taste, with a small side salad. The cupcake was really moist and beautiful, the buttercream very creamy, and tasty all-in-all, though very sugary! I would recommend this place for the excellent bagels and kind service, and the cupcakes for the ones with a sweet tooth. Maybe an idea for the future to have some sweet products that don't pack quite as much sugar, but I'm definitely coming back for another bagel!“

“I stopped in on a Wednesday night (during Yale commencement) and it was packed. The bartender, Michael, was alone. On a normal night handling a bar alone is already impressive, but with how packed it was, he was straight up masterful. I was incredibly impressed with how calmly and professionally he handled himself. Even with it being as hectic as it was, he was still very kind, patient and charismatic. Truly extraordinary.“

“Dangle's is a black-owned business in well established downtown. The restaurant is nice and quaint giving you the feels of being connected to the owner and staff. “We had the most wonderful experience at Caloroso Eatery & Bar. Unbeknownst to me, my family planned a surprise birthday party and had it at Caloroso’s in early December. Because the weather was still good, the party took place in the Sky Terrace…the space was very inviting and large enough to accommodate the 33 of us! Ashley and others of the Caloroso team made sure that no one went thirsty or hungry! The buffet of chicken parm, chicken marsala, pasta, salad, and more was totally delicious and plentiful! The large screen in the room made it possible for all to see the birthday trivia game through which I relived lots of happy memories and milestones! I had no idea what was waiting for me when I walked up the stairs and went through the doors into the Sky Terrace…and I’ll never forget the SURPRISE experience!
