“This is to cancel the review likely coming today from a man who clearly just wanted a free sandwich. We ordered the same thing, steak n cheese no peppers onions. The wait was average considering it was lunch rush and neither of us ordered ahead. I went in prepared for that, he apparently was not. Moments before his sandwich was coming off the grill (obvious by time elapsed and people remaining) he demanded a void. They were working to complete while asking the cook how long, she replied 30 seconds. He said I don't care void it. They handed them the sandwich and went to void it and he threw open the sandwich on a table to inspect it for (I assume) unwanted veggies. Almost mad it was made correctly he packaged it back up and went to storm out while huffing. She muttered quietly I was going to void it but ok. Or something to that affect, I could barely hear standing next to her, but he heard something from just outside the door, so came storming back in, and said no you know what melt the cheese. I was going to accept it then I heard your snarky comment. So they re grilled it (cause now time isn't an issue for him I guess). Voided the transaction, gave him his change back and he asked for their names so he could write a review later on. I don't know how the entire team maintained their composure but kudos to Jersey Mike's of Branford for today's rude encounter.“

“My experience at the subway was amazing as I walk through the sliding doors I was created with two people asking what I would like on my meal and I ordered an amazing chicken sandwich with extra chicken but they did not charge me for the extra chicken so now I am worried that I am going to be cold by the police for my extra chicken sandwich I hope if the police is reading this is not my fault that they put extra chicken on my sandwich and I did not pay for it because I did not have to“

“Subway is pretty much always good. You choose your fresh baked bread and meat and the staff packs it with all of your chosen add-ins from pickles, to cheese to olives and onions. If you're in the mood for \"I'll have everything\" you'll have a monster sandwich, well, you'll get a little if everything. Ha!“

“Was visiting New Haven last weekend (from Brooklyn) and had the pleasure of eating at Olmo not once, not twice, but three times!! For breakfast, every morning of my visit. The bagels so good, the menu so mouthwatering, the people so kind and welcoming— I couldn’t stay away! And I’m still thinking about it a week later…

The first morning I got the Hot Pastrami. It is, and i cannot stress this enough, DELICIOUS! A generous helping of pastrami—rivaling that of Katz Deli—paired with a mind-blowingly yummy spinach-artichoke schmear and some pickled onions sandwiched between a sesame seed bagel. Cannot recommend enough.

The next morning I had to try a new schmear (the schmear selection is thrilling). I went with beet and dill veggie on an onion bagel. Crunchy, refreshing, sweet. Yum.

I am a creature of habit so, despite my desire to try the basil feta schmear, the third morning I went with the Hot Pastrami again. Turns out lightning can strike twice, it was just as delish the second time.

This is a place that clearly loves their clientele and their craft. They were communicative, efficient, and so friendly. You immediately feel welcome. A must visit for any bagel lover who finds themself in New Haven!!“

“Been going here for yrs for the subs which are top notch but i tried a chef salad yesterday it was the Best Chef salad ive ever had!! do yourself a favor and try one! Believe me you wont regret it“

“Was over in North Branford today, and found this place based on Google reviews. Exceeded expectations, we had the carnitas tacos, burritos, and shrimp cerviche, then the owner was kind enough to bring out the birras tacos for us to try. Everything was great, tasty, fresh - this is authentic Mexican and can’t wait to be back to try breakfast tacos/burritos.“

“Usually their salads are delicious. But today i came by, right when they opened up (prob a mistake) and ordered a crispy chicken salad … My salad was done in about 5 mins …. ( how can chicken be cooked that fast?) Anyway, i tried to eat the salad for dinner. My croutons were stale, the bread was stale and tomatoes along with the cucumbers tasted like theve been sitting out from the night before. I doubt chicken was freshly made. I’m so disappointed. Next time i know not to come right when they open up.“
