“We had Mangia Mangia cater our recent rehearsal dinner - it was hands down the best food we have had in a long time. Everything was perfect- Raquel was a tremendous help and she took all the stress away from hosting a large party. I HIGHLY recommend using them for anyone looking for catering a large event. Bladimir, Joline and all the staff were very accommodating- we even called and got 10+pizzas delivered the day after the wedding too!! Huge Hit!!“

“We recently celebrated my mother`s 100th birthday at Pulcinellas with about 40 friends and family and everyone is still talking about it ! Linda ensured perfection all around. The pizza, antipasto, entrees (chicken champagne, veal francese, eggplant rolatini, penne a la vodka), and sides were delicious and plentiful. The pistachio BD cake was gorgeous and tasted out of this world! the staff was so attentive to everyone's needs and the piano player added to the festive atmosphere. “I would walk 500 miles... Well maybe not walk 500 miles. But I will drive 350 miles round trip. Just to have dinner at one of my favorite Restaurants in my old neighborhood. Congrats to Kenny and his culinary and service team. Dinner for my party of 4 was delicious. The 3 specials Short Rib Ravioli, Chicken & Sausage Paella, and the Baby Rack of Lamb. The 4th dinner was our longtime favorite Gnocchi Sorentino. Walked out bellies full and pallets completely satisfied. Oh yeah, don't forget the Fried Burrata. Anytime I'm in Brookfield I will visit Portobellos. Love this place.“

“John's Just hosted my dad's funeral luncheon...being Italian and having my family from NY come I wanted it perfect, so Libero tolerated my requests, made me feel at ease and delivered! I could not have been more pleased! The service, food , portions, bar staff, relaxed atmosphere, the way they treated my guests including the children, truly made it a very special day and celebration of my dad's life. We were able to cheer, cry, salute, speak, play some favorite music, etc.They made it very intimate for us! I am grateful-bonus- Great desserts! thank you.“

“Gisellas has been our favorite go to Italian restaurant in DANBURY since it opened. Food is always delicious and consistent and the wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Unfortunately last night we had a different experience the moment we walked in the door. Hostess was very unfriendly and dismissive, no eye contact and acted like she was doing us a favor seating us! Thankfully, like always, the rest of our dining experience was amazing!“

“Maybe this was an off night for Dolce being new years eve. From the start, the waiter had one thing on his mind, get us out as quickly as possible. Waiter was not friendly, and had no interest in assisting us. Didn't even offer bread , only came after we asked during the appetizer. Food was average to above average which helped the situation. Ownership needs to school the waiters on better ettiquette with customers“

“Vesta was wonderful! I came with a couple friends for Sunday brunch and I will definitely be back to try dinner sometime. The restaurant is lovely with such a cute atmosphere. My biggest gripe is that it was a little hard to find the entrance, I actually went through La Zingara but thankfully the bartender there sent me the right way.
The restaurant is small but very cozy and clean looking.
The brunch is pre fixe and I ordered a Bellini and later tried their passionfruit rooftop seltzer. Both drinks were huge! The seltzer in particular was really nice and I would like to try the other flavors. For starters, my friends had the salad while I opted for the soup of the day (corn chowder). They were all very nice.

For our mains, I went with the chicken and waffles, while my friends ordered the sweet potato skillet and the breakfast pizza (minus the sausage). Everything looked fantastic! The only hiccup was that the pizza came out a bit undercooked, but our waitress was super accommodating and happily brought it back a few minutes later — the second time, it was perfect. The chicken and waffles were amazing! It had a good sized piece of boneless breast with a nice crunchy well seasoned crust sandwiched between two waffles with this wonderful bacon jam. The waffles on their own were very sweet, almost like they were crusted with sugar. But when eaten together with the chicken and bacon jam it was perfect. My friends also loved their dishes. The breakfast pizza was huge (she took half home!) and the crust was great, while the sweet potato skillet was hearty and flavorful.
The only weak spot of the meal was the dessert course. I had the Nutella crepe, and my friend had the chocolate gelato (the only other option was vanilla; no sorbet that day). The crepe was very disappointing. It was small, cold, and didn’t taste fresh. It just felt thrown together and barely had any nutella. The gelato was better, though I thought it was a bit icy in texture.

Overall, I really loved the vibe here and thought the food was great. It’s a charming little spot that would make a wonderful date or special occasion restaurant. I’m already looking forward to coming back for dinner sometime!“

“My husband and I tried Bora Restaurant for the first time last night. It was excellent!! The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, all of the staff that we encountered were young but surprisingly all so very well mannered, polite and very nice!! Our waiter was Alton, he did a wonderful job and always addressed my husband as Sir. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!!“

“It has been awhile (too long) since we’ve eaten at Portofino’s, just busy. It was very nice to be recognized and they were genuinly glad to see us “back”! Our dinner was delicious! I had the sea bass over risotto. The bass was cooked to perfection! And their service was excellent as always! Thank you for a wonderful evening! She was great with menu recommendations and made our guest feel very much at home with her attention and jokes. It was such a great experience - we had pizza for take-out on Friday. “Visiting a friend, and found this place. We went with pizza, well I can eat pizza every day of the week. With that said we ordered a garlic and broccoli. The pie came out and it was a good size pie, however I was expecting a bunch of roasted pieces of garlic. We got garlic powder which is not the same. The pie was good, the food that went by looked even better. If I'm in the area again I will try this place but I'm going for the chicken parm that went by as I was waiting for my pizza.“

The pasta bolognese was rich and flavorful, the chicken cacciatore was perfectly cooked, and the garlic knots were a delicious must-have. We also really enjoyed the fresh combo salad.
