“My husband and I ate at your establishment last night to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday which fall in the same day,while the restaurant is beautiful and the food was superb, my husbands steak came out virtually raw instead so we had to send it back, who on earth would take a $75 dry aged steak that was cut off the bone and cut through the center throw not only the steak but the bone back in the grill and have the nerve ti send it back out ti a customer? The manager was very apologetic and made them cook him another steak but my huge issue is, we went out ti dine together and celebrate milestones, I had to eat alone while he waited and by the time his steak came out the remainder of the sides were stone cold, I feel like at the least something from that meal should have at least been deducted from our almost $200 bill! Thanks ti these circumstances, our anniversary and my birthday dinner were ruined! Thanks again gif ruining what was supposed to have been a memorable evening“

“A culinary delight! I took my family to Oyster Club on a Saturday evening after some shopping in Mystic and had a wonderful experience. The oyster happy hour was fantastic. As a raw oyster enthusiast, I was elated at the quality and price. I had a dozen oysters myself and had to stop myself from getting more- they were SO GOOD! The blackfish I had for dinner was excellent. The ramp hummus was a real highlight. For dessert, we had the maple ice cream which was the most delicious ice cream I have ever had. At the same time they have also earned a 'Big Al's 💎 Gem Review'. I walked into a very warm and inviting welcome from the Owner's daughter named Ellen. She was so sweet and even introduced me to her father, Herb's who recently turned 95yrs old about a week ago. I was welcomed by the whole staff and I had such a wonderful server named Dawn! She is truly the Best!! Thank you Dawn! ❤️ I can keep going on and on about how great this spot is so.... Let me continue. The atmosphere is perfect. No issues finding parking, they have a small parking lot in front and in the back that is reserved for their customers and other shops in that building. Menu is upscale American overall everything was good. I was disappointed they were out of the mussels I was looking forward to trying those. Deviled were beautifully presented, hush puppies were delicious and the pan seared scallops were cooked perfectly.“

“I went here with my family and let me tell you, it is the definition of FEEL GOOD PLACE! It is a cozy little cafe with 80’s or maybe earlier, handheld games spread throughout the cafe. While we waited we enjoyed playing many games I hadn’t played in years! While we were just chit chatting, all the sudden marshmallow come flying at us! My daughter thought it was so cool, we looked over to see one of the ladies shooting them from behind the counter. She came over a little while later to squirt ketchup and mustard at us, it was a prank but very funny! It was really just a string. To top it off, she brings a small claw machine so my daughter could play it and win some prizes. We found out that they feed squirrels that come up to the window, so we inquired and one of the women tried to get the squirrel to come so we could see it. Unfortunately it did not happen but honestly, just left feeling like my soul was warmed. The food was amazing! The coffee was hot and all the women working there were truly a delight! I wish I lived closer, I’d definitely become a regular. Best part- aside from taking some photos for memories, no one was on their phone. Just really enjoying the cafe and experience.“
