The biggest problem is deciding which special to try. I seldom make it to the “ regular “ menu…I’ve traveled to 45 states and 35 countries and Claire’s is in my top 10 worldwide…seriously.“

“This is REAL NEOPOLITAN PIZZA. I went there recently with my cousins, who are from Naples, and they said it was as if they were back in Italy. Forget the cardboard Americanized pizza. This pizzeria is authentic and the owner is genuine. Cannot recommend enough.“

“Consiglio's is a New Haven staple. Went for our anniversary. We got a beet salad from the special menu, fried mozzarella, two drinks each, and two entrees (spicy Gorgonzola chicken, and Rosa chicken) all of which was phenomenal, plus two servings of bread, an an affogato for inside of $200. Servers were friendly, kind, and gave us time to enjoy our meal! Excited to come back again in the future.“

“As an Indonesian who came to Yale and missed Indo food, I was very impressed with this restaurant! The Shrimp Fried Noodles that I ordered had rich spices and was very delicious. Toka Fried Chicken is also my favorite with a sweet and savory soy sauce seasoning.
The comfortable atmosphere of the restaurant makes the dining experience even more enjoyable.

“Everything was great! My wife and I brought our two kids (14 & 11) there yesterday evening and everyone enjoyed themselves. The oysters, shrimp, and clam chowder couldn’t have been more fresh. Kids enjoyed their lobsters and our steaks were cooked perfectly. Our youngest thought our server Adam looked like Tom Brady lol. All around perfect- thank you!“

“Great menu fresh and unique ingredients. Great cocktails and wines that pair nicely with menu. Everything was cooked and presented perfectly. I had the Niman Ranch Pork Copa. And some eggplant caponata crostini as appetizer. We stopped at the rooftop bar for a cocktail and snack. We had Tuna tartare with wasabi peas. Service ambience. Made it a perfect Evening and the Hotel is awesome too.“

“Our hotel was right across the street, so one night we decided to grab a late-night snack with a beer. This place delivered exactly what we wanted. The tots were hot, crispy, and seasoned to perfection. The boneless wings were fairly standard, but they met our expectations.“

I ordered the Shoyo Chintan ramen- it's very flavorful and well balanced. A safe, yummy choice for ramen lovers who want to try out their menu. Would highly recommend. Broccoli and carrots were very delicious. Definitely will be going back. House of Chao is my new favorite Chinese restaurant. “This restaurant was well worth the hour drive to get there. They served the best potato salad I have ever had - & trust me I have tried hundreds of them in my long life. The vegetable dinner option I enjoyed today was perfect. I highly recommend the cabbage, black eye peas, and Caribbean rice along with the amazing potato salad. And I must add that the moist, scrumptious, and famous corn bread couldn’t have been better. Sandra’s is a place I will return to. I’m a vegetarian newbie who’s grateful for the nutritious, delicious food and the sweet and friendly service at this gem of a place.“
