I explained how many people I was hosting and that I didn’t know what or how many to order. They were unbelievably patient with me and told me they would take care of it. And did they ever!!!! Freshly baked, beautifully presented, and SO DELICIOUS! I was thrilled. Guests impressed. Delightful variety. I will be back and I highly recommend you check them out!!!“

“The employees at the North Haven store are always friendly, helpful and fast. I've never had an issue or mix-up with my order and the cookies, as always, are scrumptious. I particularly like their rewards program . Points add up fast and you get frequent and substantial discounts without being constantly bombarded by texts and emails or having to buy a million cookies first.“

“My husband surprised me with a Princess cake. I mentioned I’d love to try one after seeing it in a baking show. He searched online and Marjolaine’s was the only place he could find. He drove over an hour to pick it up and it was well worth the drive! We just picked up a Dacquoise. This one was a request from our daughter. We tried a smaller version that was in the case. It was absolutely delicious! So light and airy and the flavor was divine! We are driving this cake all the way to NC and are 100% certain that our daughter will be thrilled ! We are heading back in the beginning of April for a Marjolaine for our daughter in law. It is well worth the trip!!!“

“We ordered two cakes from Sweets on Main to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Not only was the owner so nice, pick up was a breeze and the cakes were delicious. No pic of the GF chocolate cake but there was not a piece leftover. The strawberry mascarpone was light and refreshing - perfect for our one year old who we don’t want having a lot of sugar. Will definitely be using Sweets on Main again!“

Enjoy Authentic Guatemalan tamales, reminds me of when my grandmother made them, the chuchitos, they are like mini corn tamales and great with coffee too. “These are the best Biscotti I ever had. I found them near the coffee section at Bishops Farm Maket. They are soft and not dried out. They are as good as my grandmother's..if not better. If I take a small bite I end up eating the entire Biscotti. A+“

“Elizabeth's Bakery now has some GF items. Today I tried their GF blueberry muffin & brownie. The muffin is amazing! It didn't taste GF at all. Lots of blueberries, not overly sweet like some GF baked goods; great texture -not gummy at all; and a wonderfully big muffin like it's gluten containing counterpart. The brownie is soooo fudge! It is not gummy at all. Tastes just like a gluten containing brownie (well at least what I remember them tasting like). These are so much better than any GF brownie mix & better than any recipe I have made at home. It's been years since I have been able to purchase a great tasting GF item at a bakery. Thanks Elizabeth's Bakery for including a few GF items on your menu.“

“I got this cake for my daughter’s birthday, and it was a showstopper! The guests couldn’t stop raving about it, many even asked where I got it. The pineapple and coconut frosting perfectly creamy, and the texture was spot-on. It was a hit with everyone and made the celebration even more special! absolutely unforgettable!“

The drive here is down congested narrow roads with limited space for your turns. Stay alert a lot of low 12 ft bridges surrounding the customer. Follow trucker GPS but don’t rely on it. When you see the customer, You can make a right at the light or go up to the next street and make a right and another right and follow that path around to the yard, whichever’s is easier. Once on the yard, a lot of space to dock. Easy check in. Quick loading. Extremely professional staff.

Leaving the facility you will encounter the same congested narrow streets on your way out. Follow the path the customer gate tells you. You should make a left shortly after going around the curve. To get back to the interstate, make a right at the stop sign and follow that street down maybe 1/2 mile than make another left at the light. Follow that street all the way down and when you see the grocery store on the right, make a left at the light. You will see a sign that tells you which way to get back to the interstate. The last turn to get to the interstate can be tricky. You will come into a light that has strange look 4 way stop and signs that point to the interstate (can be misleading) but Dont go into the neighbourhood that the GPS will try and advise you to go down. Make a wide left turn on the street and you will see the entrance to the interstate maybe 1/4 of mile on the right hand side.

Tandems all the way forward or you will not be able to make your turns.

The community is super understanding and will get out of your way to help you make your turns, just be patient.“

“I first saw Moon Rocks Gourmet Cookies at a craft show at the High Plains Community Center. I tried a sampler of six (out of the eight available) flavors: • Traditional chocolate chip • Salted caramel • S'mores • Cannoli • Blueberry lemon • Orange creamsicle The other flavors were oatmeal raisin walnut and peanut butter chocolate chip. The six flavors I had were absolutely amazing. The cookies were light and flavorful, absolutely delicious. They make gift baskets too, so you can share the goodness. Highly recommended.“

You can dine in but most staff don’t speak English (Spanish only) which wasn’t my case. They had a soccer match playing on screen which was entertaining but a bit too loud“

“I’ve been going to G Cafe nearly every morning since moving to Branford in 2020. They have amazing food, coffee and lunch options. Their staff is incredibly friendly and I always look forward to morning coffee there. Especially when the weather is nice, there are several bistro tables to enjoy fresh air and good conversation!“
