“Delicious!! Went here about a week ago for the first time. I got the grilled chicken breast and onions with white rice. Everything was seasoned to perfection and im including the white rice when I say that. Went back and got the fried chicken chunks made the white meat and OMG so good. The prices are unmatched and the food is best ive had Caliente and Fabi don't even come close. Im from NY and finally found really good spanish food in CT. So happy with J &W deli“

“Four of us walked in here for lunch after the Thimble Islands tour. The place was well run and busy. Each of us ordered different sandwiches. We sat ourselves outside and enjoyed the view. Our food came promptly and we were all mostly very pleased with the quality. The only one complaint was about the quality of the croissant itself in one sandwich , but overall, we were very pleased with the taste. My turkey on a ciabatta was excellent. We would definitely return again!“

“Vegetable soup: The vegetable soup from Rosa’s Deli comes highly recommended by me. It has plenty of fresh vegetables, is not salty at all like many others are, (my feeling on salt is that you can always add more but cannot extract it), and comes with saltine crackers and a spoon (I did not need the spoon as this was my maiden voyage for my new soup spoon)!“

“I wasn't so sure about this place bc it just a gas station at first glance. Once you get inside you still won't be impressed. The service is fast, you better be ready when you get to the counter during the lunch rush. Your reward will be an amazing lunch, grab a table outside if it's nice.“
“Not only are the staff very friendly and attentive, the food is awesome. Always fresh food and fresh bread. My new favorite spot for a good quality chicken cutlet or my go to Georgia hot, egg and cheese. What ever your craving is, it will be satisfied. G&Y 💪“
“The prices are very good. I always come here with my friend when we like to hang out sometimes.
The service is not bad but it's not good so it's in the middle.
Also this place on the outside needs a makeover or it needs deep cleaning.“

“Stopped by looking for a snack and man did Amanda deliver. I got the chicken bacon ranch on a grinder and a side of pasta salad. This is honestly one of the best CBR I’ve had.The chicken is super moist, coupled with heaps of crispy smoked bacon, which you can really taste. The ranch gives a creamy base layer that ties in the thick cuts of lettuce and tomatoes. This is all gift wrapped in a layer of cheddar cheese. The bread was crispy and held the insides of this sub together, without leaking through.I’ll be back to try the whole rest of the menu, you should too!“

“I’m not a regular patron of the old B&M deli but I can say I have tasted the old VS new and coming from another town, I am proud to say that the shoes have been filled! The quality and dedication that the new owners bring surpasses any deli nearby.( I can only speak within my parameters) we can all talk about quality meats which many places lack. Even your local markets! but If you’re hungry and want a savory sandwich/burger then this is your place! My fav’s are the Bacon Egg&Cheese And STK & cheese on a hard roll🤗“

“P&M is my favorite local deli. After moving away from Branford 5 years ago, it is the one place that i ALWAYS make time to stop to eat when visiting friends and family back in town. There have been times I end up staying an extra day just to make sure I stop in for something to eat.“

“Just tried this joint for the 1st time ever and mannnnn...This is the type of independent Italian American deli that would make John Gotti shed a tear. One of the best Italian combos I've ever had in my lifetime. The amount of sandwich that this one man serves you for $10 should be the national standard for America. Last of a dying breed and I put that on Jesus sandals. I'd give this mf 6 stars if google would let me. God Bless.“
