“We had the most wonderful experience at Caloroso Eatery & Bar. Unbeknownst to me, my family planned a surprise birthday party and had it at Caloroso’s in early December. Because the weather was still good, the party took place in the Sky Terrace…the space was very inviting and large enough to accommodate the 33 of us! Ashley and others of the Caloroso team made sure that no one went thirsty or hungry! The buffet of chicken parm, chicken marsala, pasta, salad, and more was totally delicious and plentiful! The large screen in the room made it possible for all to see the birthday trivia game through which I relived lots of happy memories and milestones! I had no idea what was waiting for me when I walked up the stairs and went through the doors into the Sky Terrace…and I’ll never forget the SURPRISE experience! Thank you, family, and thank you Caloroso team for helping to make the day a cherished lifelong memory!!“

“I’m not one to leave reviews but I absolutely need to let people know about how great this place is. I’ve ordered quite a few items here for takeout and I’m amazed every time. The delivery is quick, the food is hot and fresh. The pasta fagioli is quite literally some of the best I’ve ever had in my life! Do yourself a favor and order from here. And it’s fairly priced. Absolutely love this place!“

“4 of us had dinner last night, food was excellent! The eggplant rollatini was stuffed with ricotta, tender eggplant and delicious sauce. My husband had sausage & mushroom pizza. Nice crust, just enough toppings and again, that sauce! Fried calamari was tender & crispy. 6 nice size shrimp in the cocktail. If I had anything to complain about it would be the cocktail sauce was a bit wimpy for my taste. More horseradish, guys! Lol Service was super, empty glasses and plates were removed after we finished. Cozy atmosphere, nice music at a good volume. I highly recommend the place! <3“

“Love this place! Best pizza in Shelton. I read some other reviews and I am surprised anyone would not like this pizza, the crust is AMAZING! If you want the paper thin, burned crust from the other places around town, then don't go here and complain. Shelton Pizza Palace crust is amazing and the sauce delicious. I lived in NYC for 20yrs and never found a crust this good.
More than once I ordered pizza shortly before they closed, when I arrived to pick it up they are there waiting for me to pick up so they can go home. This is a true local business that deserves fair reviews of their awesome pizza not complainers who had one imperfect experience. I order from there all the time and have never had a bad experience.“
