Kendall and Kelly are the nicest and are very accommodating. Not to mention the full bar, expansive beer selection, and wide variety on the menu. Some of my personal favorites include the chicken tenders (with their house made buffalo sauce), the buttermilk chicken sandwich, and the oven roasted turkey wrap. “Came in last minute this past Saturday with a party of 9 (4 adults and 5 children under 11) as grandson had a baseball game nearby. Was my first time. Food choices were very good and kids menu also had lots of offerings and their meals also included ice cream. I can’t say enough about our waiter, Matt. He was just the perfect server for our party, as he had children himself and totally understood how challenging it could be eating out with kids. He put the kids orders in right away. He knew just want to stop by and check on us. He is an asset to your restaurant and you’re very lucky to have him. We will definitely be back. Was a very positive experience.“

“Cannot say enough good things about The Hollow. Whether you are a golfer or not the restaurant should be added to your regular rotation. The food is top notch, everything on the menu is fantastic. My favorites are the loaded potato chips and the Brit burger. The staff is friendly, the drinks are perfect and everything is reasonably priced (especially here in 2022). Did i mention the view from the patio is beautiful? This restaurant is a must taste!“

“The 1851 is turning into a regular hangout for us. Love the margaritas and all the food has been great so far — jambalaya, burgers, pork and rigatoni bolognese. Trying different dishes each time we go as everything has been delicious so far.“

“Since a lot of these reviews appear to be old, clarifying 2 things: there are two locations (norfolk & hartford) run by Good Works Entertainment. The Hartford location used to have a bistro but does not any longer - they have chips and candy. The highly regarded Bears smoke house is across the street as is the convention center and hotel (that ay have a special rate if you ask). hartford location has nearby street and paid parking unaffiliated with the venue. Both feature a range of arttists so check one or both out with friends and family.“

However they dont accept credit cards.
I can say that they have easily lost hundreds in patronage from me over that past year simply because they only accept cash.
I cant count the amount of times I have passed by and haven't stopped because I didn't have cash.

“This was a great unexpected experience. My friend I wanted sliders so we stopped in for that, not realizing it was 8:50 and they close at 9pm. The hostess was so sweet and still let us dine in which was greatly appreciated. Shout out to our server Aidan he was awesome!!! He didn't make sus feel rushed ! I ordered a porn star martini which was great!!! Instead of sliders we ordered a double smashed burger to share, one thing I loved as an option is we could do half regular fries and half sweet potato fries. You know I love some good accommodations!!!! he burger was very good, I like trying smashed burgers at different places. Max you got it right!!!! “We booked The Tavern for our October 2021 wedding right before the pandemic hit. Throughout the entire planning process and hundreds of questions, Jasmine was always readily available via email or text up until wedding day (even when we became date twins). Everything came out beautiful, the set up for dinner and our ceremony was perfect! The grounds were perfect for our pictures. Everyone loved the appetizers during cocktail hour and our cake was delicious. We had a few mishaps during our dinner, but we didn’t let that fog the happiest day of our lives. Jasmine also quickly took action and made things right. They will likely be my go-to for other events because ours was greatly executed with the help of my in-laws, Lynne (sorry if I spelled it wrong), and Jasmine. My favorite thing about having them as our venue was that we didn’t have to clean up anything or set up anything. Lynne made sure things were arranged accordingly and brought my vision to life. Even when we had to create a back up plan because of weather Jasmine and Lynne helped to calm my nerves about the last minute changes.“
