“This time dining in was fine, the hot and sour soup is great ,and Chinese vegetable dish with mushrooms, tofu was wonderful. I sent the small appetizer portion of the peking duck bun back to be cooked a little more, the waitress was visibly surprised that I asked for the duck to be crispy.The app was not good, perhaps there was a substitute chef that day.
The take out orders were wrong, all 3 orders,,I asked for chicken lo mein and veggies,,The dish ended up just noodles, no veggies or chicken.I had asked for 2 chicken vegetable soups to go with out noodles, again they send 2 big containers of noodles, and 2 large broth .My friends told me this when they opened it up,I was surprised,The food was excellent the other times i have been there.Maybe the server was knew, no idea, Just very costly to get the opposite of what was ordered, too far away to bring it back,
I will give it another chance sometime,becuase I have referred others that love it and I have a friend that loves the peking duck,“

“The quest for great Chinese food in the Trumbull area has brought me many places! Bridgeport, Monroe, Trumbull, even parts of Fairfield... but my favorite so far, has been Xiang's Kitchen. It was a recommendation from someone in Easton that brought me here! According to them, Xiang's was the best! And I agree.
I'm a simple man when it comes to Chinese food, just some mild General Tso's, some beef lo mein, and steamed dumplings. Its the occasional dinner takeout. Xiang's has a combination plate with fried rice and an egg roll, which is great. It comes so stacked into that container, they couldn't fit anymore in there. I love it! Prices are decent too and the food is great. Definitely recommend!“

“First time ordering here but we were all tired & no one wanted to cook & this was nearby. I was scared to order after reading some of these reviews. But we were all pleasantly surprised. Yes it’s standard Chinese fare but it was good. There was a lot of meat in every dish we ordered (Lo Mein, chicken chow Mein, pork fried rice, sweet & sour chicken) and it was perfectly cooked. I didn’t care for the fried wontons but everyone else liked them. Wonton soup had plenty of wontons and was yummy. Loved the sweet & sour chicken - very lightly fried so it wasn’t heavy & dull. We all voted we would go here again.“

“I have to say of all the places I’ve had sweet n sour chicken this one had the best sauce. It’s thick enough to not pour off the chicken when either dipped or poured on top of. It actually sticks to the chicken. However it’s been hit or miss with the chicken in the same meal. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes way over cooked. The white rice isn’t pasty like little chopsticks is. It’s decent in comparison. They also have good donuts… I know not really gonna go to a Chinese food place for the donuts but… still a nice sweet treat.“

“This is hands down the best fast food Chinese restaurant in Bridgeport. My family and I have been loyal customers for almost 20 years. Their boneless chicken, broccoli with brown sauce, and tostones are unbeatable, and the portions you get for the price are unmatched. The staff also speaks Spanish, which is a plus. I highly recommend this spot!

The only downside is that they accept cash only, and the surrounding area can feel a bit sketchy, especially in the evenings/nights. There are often people hanging around outside the entrance, sometimes drinking, smoking, or asking for money. I suggest picking up your food before 8:00 P.M. and, for safety, recommend that women go with someone or have someone else pick up the food for them, especially at night.“

When I informed the woman working at the front of my gluten sensitivity, she took time to run through every ingredient and its contents and triple checked there would be no contamination (who knew imitation crab had gluten?). But I was in need of some white rice and it's so good and soft the way they make it. I got a large size and also a side of dumplings. The dumplings were really good. I always love the sauce. I need a container of that stuff. They were fried perfectly, the dough was a good consistency, the filling flavourful. I'm using the rice to make my own little sushi wraps later, the rice was soft and sticky, just like what i wanted. The lady at the register was nice, took my order with no problems. They have tap-to-pay also, which was a plus. Sign said minimum seven bucks to use card. The interior is I guess what you'd expect. Not the best, but not the worst I've seen. Street parking was easy for me today, mid-afternoon in a Saturday. I'd go back.“
