“This is like being in Paris in Darien. The crêpes were the best I’ve ever had. The savory crêpes were so elegant and delicious. I didn’t think you could make sweet crêpes any better than the ones I’ve had in the past however they were better than any I’ve had in the past. The service was authentic in excellent. Highly recommend. New York City has nothing on Darien crêpes!“

“Excellent down to every detail. What a find in Fairfield county! Right up there with Le Fat Poodle, Le Penguin and La Crémaillère but a much cozier understated atmosphere. Wine glasses were appropriate for the wine, the beef tartare was the perfect texture and the Pork Chop and Steelhead trout were cooled to perfection. Bravo! The Pannna Cotta was excellent! I wonder what they could do with creme brulee???“

“We do love Luc's. Have been there numerous times, and always feel like we are back in France. Cassoulet, tartare, French onion soup, salad Nicoise...so Parisienne. And if there is a birthday, they do a low key but festive presentation. Can't say enough good things about this place.“

“Excellent spot easily accessible in downtown Darien from I-95. I love seafood and the meal here did not disappoint. We started with the crab cocktail and half a dozen oysters with everything being fresh and delicious. The cocktail came with a mustard sauce (in addition to cocktail sauce) that was quite tasty. I ordered a Branzino special which had an excellent thick flaky piece of fish cooked to perfection. The service was so efficient, i never had to worry about my water glass not being filled as the waitress was constantly checking on us. The ambiance is chic but somewhat laid back. Good place for people watching. All in all, an excellent New England Seafood restaurant. I'll definitely be back.“

“What a great addition to the Ridgefield restaurant scene. And finally, a place that's not ridiculously overpriced. Loved the food, the atmosphere, and the diversity on the menu. Service... meh. After cocktails, no one asked for other drinks. Last hour, no water. Overall, almost 3 hours for a dinner. And when we left, our server said goodbye without even looking up. But hey, that's just one person and everything else was stellar. Absolutely returning!“
“We visited The Benjamin for lunch on Saturday. The dining room, beautifully decorated for spring, was quiet with only one other table. We enjoyed the Burrata and Beet Salad, a delightful mix of pickled and roasted beets, hazelnuts, and creamy burrata on a bed of greens. I loved the composition of this spring salad. While the Wagyu burger was flavorful, the excessive dressing on the bottom bun made it somewhat messy to eat. The bun was also cut very unevely, the bottom bun wet from the dressing and there was just too bread on top. DH thought the fries were very salty but I like salty fries.Nevertheless, service was efficient, and we're eager to explore more of the menu on our next visit.“

“I was there with a group of five and we were all very impressed with the food. My branzino was so delicious I might get it again next time. My wife loved her chicken pot pie, and our martinis were fantastic. My mother-in-law's Trout Almondine was a hit too.“
