“I love this restaurant. The food is always good and the female wait staff is great. The males, are on the rude side....one time throwing steak knives across the table when we requested them to cut our steaks. Every time we dine here, I am so annoyed with the lighting. Fluorescent lighting in a fine dining establishment is the worst. Please...please ...please put in recessed lighting that can be dimmed to make for a romantic dining experience.“

“This dining spot is located in the Marriott Hotel on Day Hill Road. After work, my guest and I stopped in for apps and drinks. We enjoyed the Point Judith Calamari and the wings.
The inviting atmosphere and excellent service make this dining experience a plus for business travelers. The menu is a little pricey but not out of line for 4-star hotels.

Will definitely come back for lunch or dinner.“

“I came in for some lunch before heading to work and ordered a Bacon chicken sandwich with some guac on it. Cashiers seemed as they were still training and learning the routine. Order was repeated back to me once finished ordering. I unfortunately did not receive my sandwich made correctly. Sucks because there was an upcharge to the type of entree I purchased, basically paid $16 for a chicken sandwich with just mayo pickle and lettuce. Food is great I just hope they can figure out a way to eliminate such simple mistakes. I will give the place another chance.“

“One of my all time favorite spots . Hands down beats all the local competition for seafood . Drinks are amazing ?? Two favorite’s are coconut shrimp app ? and seafood boil combo Reels catch seasoned garlic butter the flavor is great and seafood is fresh not too mention the atmosphere of the Resturant , the waitstaff are very pleasant and seems to enjoy the work they do & knowledgeable on the seafood . It’s def an experience , so if ur ever in the area I suggest u stop by u won’t be disappointed .“

“Service was outstanding. Owner explained specials walked around visiting customers making sure everything was great. Started with shrimp cocktail and stuffed mushrooms. Moved into the scallop dinner and wife had a pasta dish oh and the homemade soup then dessert all food was incredible can’t say enough good about this place“

“23 bucks for a platter piled high with fries and strip clams. they fried the clams right and didn't skimp on the portion. The place is counter service, which I always appreciate as well. It is a little out of the way, and has a definite Independent proprietorship vibe of a place that's been around for a few decades, which I appreciate.
I would come back and bigly recommend it to anybody in the area, as far as shacks go, it's the best one I've been to in the Hartford area.“

“Went here for lunch with my sister! I couldn’t believe how packed they were on a Monday! No wonder- the food and drink were ON POINT! Our waiter was very attentive and informative on wine. We shared the spinach and artichoke dip- delicious! I had the harvest vegetable bowl and added steak. The flavors mixed so well creating a palette of fresh, and my steak was cooked perfectly! My sister got the burger and a Cesar salad. The dressing was really fresh and lemony! The burger was delish as well! I will definitely be back! All the food I watched going by looked like 10 stars!“

“This was our first time trying Alexia's. We ordered a plain, cheese pizza, and it was excellent. The sauce was tasty, full of flavor, without being too sweet or too acidic. The crust was wonderfully crisp, without being charred. I'm not an expert by any means, but I would describe the pizza as "Detroit style." The staff were very friendly. Gluten-free is available as well.“

“My son loves this place. Usually he's a big Mac kid but I was lazy and placed a order for the double cheese burger it was delivered fresh and hot. The burger was huge he was like this burger is big. Needless to say he don't ask for Big Macs no more he asks for the big burger. I went in person and placed a order the workers were kind and food did not disappoint. This is our new burger place.“

“As a local business owner that frequents Anthony's Restaurant, I've yet to have a less than great experience. Many locals truly appreciate the quality the owner puts into his authentic dishes. The pizza is always great, with generous toppings, the meatballs are homemade and flavorful, the sauce is also taseful and the dishes are plentiful! The owner has been in the business for decades and truly cares deeply about thir customers experiences and is very friendly. This restaurant includes a family effort, they provide a clean and positive family experience and local business love their food as well. I know personally, because I provide gift cards on behalf of business relationships in the area & their always happy with their experiences. I recommend giving them another try - to those who had unfortunate past experience, they've got a better crew than they once had. Keep in mind it's been profoundly challenging these past few years on small businesses & good help dosen't come easy.“

I had such a great experience at this Chinese restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. Every dish was seasoned perfectly — you can really taste the quality and care they put into their cooking. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. The portions were generous and well worth the price. My favorites were the garlic wings, but honestly, everything we tried was delicious. “My experience at the restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. I believe our servers name was Veronica, and she was wonderful and very attentive to us. We both customized our meals to some extent and everything came perfectly prepared and delicious. The server appeared at the table at just the right time and not too often so we had privacy, but always had excellent service. The view of course from this restaurant is just beautiful of the Connecticut river even in the winter. Martha's decorations are spectacular as always, and McKenzie Stevens pastries are absolutely beyond amazing. Thank you for a wonderful service and a wonderful experience!“
